I don’t want this to sound like I didn’t have a great time. I did. But it was a bit disorganized at the start and there was one obnoxious guy who was crazy high and should have been kicked out early on. Once Angelo and his band hit that stage nothing else mattered. They were so engaging that I was just captivated. Incredible show! The energy, the band, the instruments used and the songs all made it a night to remember as a 5 star night despite the early issues.
This was my seventh time seeing Combichrist, and it was sure as shit lucky! The place was packed like a sardine can. Opening acts were incredible, and the headliner absolutely tore the place down. From sound to equipment, yhe technicians had their work cut out for them. If you ever get the opportunity to meet the band, they're super nice. Can't wait to see them again already! From the bottom of my heart, thank you! 🤘🎃🖤
THIS WAS NUTS ! LEONLEON was able to perform his weird electronic whatever it is, he made it sound enjoyable for the indie crowd that was there. They didn't buy into it too much but I thought it was really cool. Then, TV Messages went absolutely insane. Their guitarist was doing these insane volume swells, and the singer was loud and amazing. Significant others came on and performed all of their classics right after, and it was one of their most high energy sets. Finally, Orchadia did an insane set to close it out. Little injury so the show had to stop but after everything was all clear, they came back on and played their last track. They handled everything very responsibly. Amazing set.
Awesome sold out show! Aidan needs a much larger venue for his next tour. Great VIP experience with acoustic set, Q&A, AND a photo that was not a group shot!! Played every song you wanted to hear. Encore was TRIPPING OVER AIR with crowd singing along. Very enthusiastic all age show, but also a crowded over 21 area in venue He even signed stuff at merch table post concert. The best concert from a talented new artist I have been to in a decade or so! Aidan is funny, chatty, super nice and yes, quite tall! Don't miss him if he comes to your town!!!
This show was absolutely incredible! I loved listening to their music before, but it has become so much more special after sharing it with a room full of people who knew all of the words, and listening to the stories and thoughts behind the songs. We have a little one on the way, and I think he enjoyed it as much as we did! I can't wait to tell him all about it someday.
P.S. Huge plus for the large and centrally located water dispenser, thank you to whoever set that up.
Have to rate this a 5 out of 5 for the band. The Arcadian Wild are fabulous musicians and performers. The concert was amazing, however the venue was pretty terrible. It might be good for an EMO night or RAVE, but for enjoying an all acoustic progressive bluegrass band, it was not good. We were literally the first ones in the door so we had the pick of all 4 tables with seating, but the entire rest of the venue was standing room only. The drinks were expensive and came in plastic cups, and the ceiling is low and the venue is narrow and long. About the worst setup for live music you could imagine. We won't be returning to the Rebel Lounge, but we will be seeing the Arcadian Wild if they come to AZ again. The main negative with this venue was due to the standing room only, and long narrow room, visibility of the stage (which was only about 12 inches higher than the floor due to the low ceiling) was so limited that if you weren't within 10-15 feet of the stage you couldn't see anything. The venue was also wouldn't allow one of our group in the 21 and over area even though she provided an ID that had a date showing she was clearly over 21, because she hadn't gone and gotten her "over 21" ID yet. Treated her based on the type of ID rather than her birth date. Totally uncool. Hopefully we'll be able to help the Arcadian Wild find a better venue for the next time they are in AZ.
An incredible music experience. I didn't know what to expect but was blown away. These guys have such a stage presence that it was hard to believe that I wasn't watching a veteran rock band. The sound was absolutely perfect and the musical flow was great. This band will be big and I am glad to have seen them when I did. Thank you!
Gable Price and friends were phenomenal. I absolutely adored seeing them in person, and they are so humble and kind. I love seeing artists that aren’t above watching their openers, running their own merch table, interacting with fans, or even letting a fan play guitar with them for one of the songs!! My only complaint about the concert was that the venue was so small and it was really packed. On one hand that is actually a really cool thing that all of these people came to see a Christian alternative rock band and that it united all of us. however, in order to be able to hear better I had to stand somewhere that I could barely see anything on the stage which was a bit frustrating . Hopefully next time they come to Phoenix they can rent a bigger venue!! Definitely see them if you get a chance. This kind of band is a rare treat.
This whole show was on fire! Bought tickets to see Smash into Pieces and they did a fantastic job! Very connected with audience and didn't tire in the show. Huge props for being so kind and accommodating to us who were so excited to see them, they do a lot for us. Citizen Soldier (who I just learned about upon getting tickets) was a great start. I will definitely be checking out more of their stuff!
Rebel is always a great venue and Smash into Pieces was an awesome band. Their opener Citizen Soldier, is a band I've never heard of, but their performance and songs were good enough to convince me to buy both of their available albums in addition to a t-shirt. Same for Smash into Pieces. A shirt, a tote bag and their album, because I know Spotify nets them almost nothing.
Will love to see both of them again next time they are in town.
This was an amazing show and an amazing band. I’m so sad that they are disbanded now but the rat pack will always be my home away from home<3 they put on an amazing show and were so kind to everyone in the murch line thank you guys for 3 outstanding shows that I got to go to. Doll Skins music has helped my so much. RAT PACK FOREVER!!
WoWsa! We flew from the other side of the country to see these guys mesmerize for two shows in two nights. Incredible! This first night began with an intimate folksy presentation from legend Salvador Duran and ended with a blasting of masterful guitar slinging layered over complex rock and roll orchestrations by headliner XIXA. Don’t pass up the chance to witness this precision cacophony of sound for yourself. The deeply nuanced songwriting combined with the myriad of sonic influences XIXA has fused and developed into their signature sound is special. What these guys have created together is truly unique and I would feel reductive trying to describe it in “sounds like” or genre terminology. See for yourself. These guys represent the authenticity that independent rock & roll stands for but rarely delivers anymore of late.
Have seen these guys twice now and they are one of the best live bands I've seen!! They are 110% the whole show and this was the 2nd to last night of the tour!! Hung out and talked with Vlad and Sergey at the merch table before they played and they were super cool people as are all the members. Really wish these guys would blow up and play bigger venues cuz they sure as he'll deserve it!! Their other projects are awesome as well and worth checking out!!!!
Opened by Bing & Ruth with a 45 minute tune, Mono came on stage and promoted their new album, "Pilgrimage of the Soul".
This was the 3rd time I saw them and the intimate, "The Rebel Lounge" offered just the right ambience. Standing right in front of the low stage enabled me to observe the intricate interactions and machinations of the players with their equipment.
In fact, there isn't one gig there that I haven't enjoyed right at the front.
I had my earplugs at the ready - which I didn't have to use. It would most certainly be welcome if Mono should play louder next time.
Certainly looking forward in them returning next year - hopefully at the same venue.
Straight raw and powerful energy. I can't remember a time during his performance when I wasn't bouncing or feeling straight energized. Don't sleep on sewerperson, and go see him live. Not only will you find yourself in one of the most enjoyable shows ever but on top of that, he is literally one of the most uplifting and real people you could ever meet. I had the pleasure of getting my phone signed by him after the show as well and even chatted. Please go support him.
I can't begin to describe being able to actually see Guardin in concert. I happened to find his music back in 2017 by pure chance and ever since I have never missed a release. I've waited years for this opportunity and being able to see him in person is everything I've waited for. Guardin is one of the realest and most genuine artist and performers you will ever meet. You can tell from the beginning that he was there for the crowd and the people, as well as his team and friends. If you aren't familiar with his music, just being there you can feel the amount of emotion, time and genuine feeling he puts in his songs and in turn feel it channeled through himself. Missing Guardin would literally be one of the biggest mistakes of your lifetime, you won't regret.
Saiah is easily one of our generation's greatest talents and underrated doesn't begin to describe not only his music but his performances. Saiah knows how to get a crowd hyped, engaged, and present, one of my biggest regrets was not being able to hear his music earlier. Had the chance to meet him after the show and he is one of the realest, hard work definitely pays off and you can hear his passion and creativity through his music. Play on!
It was the first concert I’ve ever been to and it’ll be a night I’ll remember forever! Everyone in the band knows how to put on an amazing show and it was such a nice time. I just wish I stayed longer after the show because I never realized Cameron said he was gonna come to the merch stand at the end of the show :(
Honestly, this was one of the most impressive live shows I’ve seen in several years. Cold Showers rained their phenomenal sound and musical abilities upon the desert last night in style. I was even able to meet John, the lead singer, and bass player Anthony before their performance. They were both so genuinely kind and down-to-earth, also so modest and very generous with their time whilst I asked a few questions and praised their incredible body of work. After inquiring about their merch, specifically their vinyl records and limited edition zippos, I realized I had forgotten my wallet which almost never happens, but my wife purchased and held the tickets for us. Either way, John was cool enough to just pick up and give me one of three zippos left for sale in the world! I can’t express just how lucky and special it made me feel. Unfortunately, I didn’t get the opportunity to meet and thank Chris King personally but I’m positive he felt the love and vibes we and the entire crowd were sending back. But that interaction was immediately followed by their energetic and extremely dynamic live show, one that completely blew my wife and I away. I mean, we had some idea that Cold Showers would deliver in a live and intimate setting, as was the case with The Rebel Lounge. But this concert was extraordinary and will forever remain as one of our favorites of all time. Thank you for coming back to Phoenix Cold Showers, we are eternally grateful and eagerly await more new music and subsequently, the next tour! ❤️🙏🏼❤️
Yawning Man took the stage prior to Mondo Generator this night. I dig MG but I was there for YM so I was slightly disappointed in that but it was a fresh tour and kinks were being worked out still. However the guys sound amazing still and the new album is really good too. The Rebel Lounge is a great small venue to see shows in so this was a killer show all around. Highly recommend catching these guys on this tour!
