(even though there’s no possible way to get any better you guys are already perfect) we are sending lots of love!🤍
Awesome show by King Buffalo! My only problem with the show was I wish they would have played longer and not been the opening band! All them Witches were the lead band and they were ok but I would have preferred it to be the other way around!
The whole show was crazy good man, couldn’t believe I saw Maye and I was never aware of Judith but her music style and her as a character was super dope to experience. Definitely became a fan of hers and I def can’t wait to see when she comes back again🙏I’ll def be there to support she’s so cool🤘
Had the most amazing time! These boys always know how to put on an incredible show. It was so special seeing them perform in their home town.
The venue was nice too. I loved the layout, friendly staff and intimate stage setting. I loved that they played a good mixture of old and new songs!
Seeing this concert was a dream come true. And they didn't disappoint. I think they're the coolest band that ever existed.
They played a lot of big songs, which was great (I got to hear Pish), but the thrill was just seeing them on stage. Anton Newcombe and Joel Gion.... omfg!!!
It was awesome seeing Mike do a show in his hometown (Omaha,Ne.) again! He had a great setlist that he absolutely nailed all night long! He’s a ‘Must See’ talent hat never disappoints the ears. Thanks for a real good time, Mike! Thanks to the Slowdown for billing the show!
Took my son and his two bandmates and they had a BLAST! I always tell people with a great tribute band that may not nail the look, if your back is turned, you'd swear it was the real deal. With Nirvani, these guys NAILED IT to the wall with rail spikes! The look, the sound, the atmosphere, ALL PERFECT! I never got to see Nirvana but I did last night! Excellent show and will definitely go see again!
Thank you guys for coming to Omaha!
Palaye Royal are just genuinely nice guys💜💜💜 Met them for the first time and they were so sweet! The show was amazing! They are some of the best performers I have ever seen! Can’t stop wishing we can go back and see them all over again!
They really gave a great performance, and took so much time during the show and after the show to get involved with the audience! They did a meet and great after with everyone and was actually interested in their fans lives and journeys. They told everyone they spoke to "to get home safe" after. They really showed they care about more than just the music, that they truly care about their fans wellbeing. Their interests, back stories, safety, if they had a good time. And they didn't judge! If you were hearing them for the first time, or millionth, they loved all just the same! Great show!! WOPILA!!♡
The Frights were really amazing! It was my boyfriend’s first show at the Slowdown and he really enjoyed them (although he has only heard them for a few months that I’ve played them a little here and there) while I’ve loved them since 2017. They all hung out and met people after the show as well as let an audience member go up and play a song with them. Love the Frights and loved the show! COME BACK TO OMAHA PLEASE :)
Absolutely amazing show. I have not seen Nelson since Mud Island, Memphis TN in 1991. Matt and Gunnar never fail to put on a superb performance. This felt like a family gathering we were all invited to with a concert included. I love the stories about Ozzie, Harriet and Ricky and growing up Nelson!
The band itself was amazing! But the mix seemed off. With and without my fancy filtered earplugs, the bass reverb and bass drum were LOUD overwhelmed the guitar so we couldn't hear all her intricate guitar work. Hopefully that's a one-off issue and I would gladly go see them again as their energy and on-stage communication were really fun to watch.
Fantastic show, fantastic musicians, fantastic music, all in a fantastic venue! Kbong, Johnny Cosmic and the band were upbeat and positive about everything. They were able to put me in a good mood probably for the rest of the year. I look forward to seeing them again as soon as possible. Keep up the great work!
Twin Temple absolutely killed it!! And amazing show that really engaged the audience, and kept the energy flowing! The atmosphere was dark and joyous, and I had the time of my life, surrounded by hundreds of others just like me. Their musical rituals were amazing as always! Don't miss them!
Awesome show!! The band reminded everyone to "take care of themselves and be kind to each other." They genuinely seemed to have so much fun on stage and it was a treat to see them live!! They played a little encore at the end and just enjoyed themselves! It was cool to see Violet sing a few songs too! The mix made it a little hard to hear vocals and finer guitar details, but overall a high-energy, awesome experience!
They played my favorite song called "Heartwork" and how they woven song together with each other. And the stuff was amazing too. Ik that they played my other favorite ones but I can't remember it exactly. But the whole show was a blast from beginning to end.
This show was awesome! Dorothy and her band kicked a*s. She is incredible! The opening act Classess Act was energetic and sounded great. This is a band to watch for. ! As for Joyus Wolf, I was not impressed. The only song I knew was the closer which is played on the radio - Mother Rebel. The were disappointing.
It was a good show; didn't know either of the opening acts but they were entertaining. Dorothy had some problems with her earpiece and I don't know if that was part of the issue, but she wasn't reaching for the higher notes.
Still freaking LOVE her voice though!! <3
This was the best concert I’ve been to in a long time! Marianas Trench put on an amazing show and interaction with the crowd. Will definitely see them again any chance I get. If you are trying to decide if you should get these tickets, YOU SHOULD!
