Agnes played a selection of tracks from her previous albums as well as some new songs, all the songs were very intimate and unique renditions; her band was sensational – it was a pleasure to watch them play. My expectations weee good, but I had no idea it would exceed them! Cheers!
5 star performance from the coolest man in Jazz accompanied by the always superb National Symphony Orchestra. A privilege to have been there on a great night. Porter sang a lot of his great hits.
Ryan has a brilliant voice and performs an amazing show without all the production that other artists use. Really amazing how he can sound exactly the same as he does on the original tracks. The interval is actually a nice touch.
The venue (National Concert Hall in Dublin) is beautiful and has a really intimate atmosphere. The no recording policy is enforced by the ushers and made it a little difficult to enjoy the show. The artist doesn’t mind people recording the shows. So it would have been nice to have this rule removed for his concert, as it’s not a typical theatre type of show.
My Best Experiences in Ireland, all the way from South Africa,I Even got to meet Christian personally, his such a humble sweet person, the ladies were just as awesome, well organised event, thank you for this beautiful experience.⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Hello, i went to Dublin to know the city, but most specially to go to this concert. I must confess how "hard" emotionally was because of how good it was. My tears falling from the very begining to the end of the concert, most probably one of the concerts of my life. It worthed every single second. TY
Such a fantastic night! An exciting display of artistry and experimentation. Rachael is definitely a talent to watch out for, and this evening's accompaniment by Crash Ensemble was perfect.
Incredible, honestly one of the best concerts of my life. The orchestral arrangements were superb and I thought the brass in particular really added a warmth and depth to a lot of the songs.
My face actually hurt by the end of the night because I had such a huge smile on my face the whole time - it was such a joyful experience and everyone who was there was really excited and into it.
I genuinely hope the band has plans to release an orchestral version of the album or a live recording of the gig because it was such a special experience that it deserves more than just one performance. It would be a shame to have these amazing arrangements go to loss. Please, take my money Soda Blonde. I'm begging you!
This was an amazing event. The support act RoByr ne and Conor set the scene with excellent music, singing and heartfelt chat. Dermot Kennedy gave of his all , Engaged the audience, with his outstanding music, lyrics and stories, with Benjamin Keys accompanying him . Dermot Kennedy is a legend. It was an honour to attend His fundraiser for Barretstown and Pieta House. Defo a highlight of my Christmas.
Absolutely brilliant! Such a diverse group of skilled musicians, music arrangements, quietly and gently witty and entertaining and in such a great venue with drinks snacks and tea available. You couldn’t ask for better ! Drive from Belfast and back was well worth the journey and would do it again!
Absolutely amazing
Still got it, great show such a fabulous voice and great selection of songs.
Awesome bonus for me she had some class musicians with her from the New York scene... sublime.
We were still buzzing after it ❤️❤️❤️
I went with my sister who is a big fan to see Richard Marx in the National Concert Hall (NCH) last night in Dublin, Ireland and it was a great show and he is fantastic. He was on his own with his guitars and a piano and it was effectively Richard Marx Unplugged, but it was simply brilliant. I could see him on stage clearly, and really hear his voice which is fantastic and he is a great vocalist and can hit those high notes and keep them going. He played most of his hits ( he has had so so many) and my favourite "Hazard" and "Right Here Waiting For You", etc. And he sang some newer songs which were good, with his sons accompanying on a backing track and a video for one of them (handsome boys like their Dad), and he effectively sang solo (with some audience participation of couse) and played his guitar and piano for two hours. I feel so privileged to have gone and it is one of the best pop/rock concerts I have ever been at. I hope he gets back to Dublin to play again and soon.
The NCH in Dublin is a great intimate venue with great acoustics for concerts. And for once at a concert, the people around me were engaged in the concert (not going in and out to the bar or talking to each other) and the venue really enhanced the concert experience. It showcased Richard Marx's amazing vocal, music and song writing talents in a very special way.
Thank you so much Richard Marx for your wonderful concert in Dublin! Rosena. 👍☘️ 🍺 And don't be a stranger and never leave Dublin out of a European Tour again 😀 All is forgiven!👍
Fantastic gig, lisa o neill and colm mac con iomhair unbelievable../ Brilliant chemistry and all round great vibe.
Big amazement and appreciation to larry bowe/ never new whistling could be so good and atmospheric.👏👏👏👏
I have never been to an orchestra before, I’m really pleased that I picked the Glenn Miller Orchestra as my first one.
It was 100% and wud love to see them again.
Fantastic venu, very helpful staff.
Five stars and more.
I’ve seen John play about a dozen times over the years but this was his best performance. He did a rendition of Oh Danny Boy at the end as an ode to his grandfather which was fantastic.
