Incredible show!! These men work sooo hard to give us the gift of their music!! I so want to see them again!
Wonderful, incredible, delightful!!!
Super awesome! Meeting the cast was awesome and I loved how Mark roasted the hecklers that were being idiots! Please come back to Iowa! We are not all idiots!!
Lindsey Priest
as always the mavericks put on one off the best performance you could ever want to see, if you have never been to a mavericks concert you don't know what you are missing
What a show!! I’ve been wanting to see these guys for a long time. Raul Malo has a seductive voice and smile. The band was a bundle of talent and fun! You can’t sit down!! Music for he hips!!
I thought it was going to be a little more exciting. More old jokes than I was expecting.
Overall still a pretty good show though.
Fantastic show! Bela and company did not disappoint and everyone seemed to be having a fabul0us time at this beautiful venue.
I love this band. Over the decades they have remained consistently excellent in their songcraft, harmonies, and music. And that in and of itself is an amazing tribute to them as musicians. This kind of longevity is so rare these days. And with "Dirt does Dylan", they have added another layer of excellence to their history. This was again, an excellent show.
What makes you think I was there?
After way too many years, my dreams finally came true again! The Jayhawks did not disappoint! They sounded as fresh and wonderful as the first time I saw them back in the early days! ❤️❤️❤️
Great show. Hope they come to E IA again.
If so, I’m in!!!
Warm and welcoming presence with a strong and soulful voice, she made me feel as if I was allowed a glimpse into her mind via lyrics and melody. Vocally, she me of a young Tina Turner. Definitely want more and album out soon. Enthralling af!
Amazing, as usual! The band is so talented, too!
Awesome show and cool venue
Truly magician musicians. You don't see the magic, you feel it. Come back and take my money. 5 stars.
Bruce Cockburn never disappoints. He's walking now with the assistance of a cane, but his vocal and guitar playing is as strong as ever. It was a small, but appreciative audience at The Englert that listened intently as he played songs that span his whole career. I recommend catching his show if you can.
This event was fantastic! It was like church for my soul! Gregory Alan Isakov with his whole ensemble and Joe Purdy are extremely talented, professional, wonderful entertainers and they put on a fantastic show for us! I did give 4 1/2 stars because I believe the Englert Theater needs to train their employees/volunteers that when an opening artist is on stage, it is just as important for lobby/concessions/entryway noise and conversations to cease, as it is when the headliner is on stage. Joe Purdy is a fantastic singer/songwriter and was not given due respect during a significant part of his set. My family loves seeing live music at The Englert and the loud conversations during Joe Purdy’s performance was not what we were used to.
Wonderful show! Patty shared a wide assortment of her music, along with personal stories and thoughtful commentary. Her guitarist, David Pulkingham was also fabulous! They seem to have a great rapport and play together beautifully. Thank you for a terrific show!
One of the best shows I’ve ever seen! Her voice was crystal clear and had a great stage presence. I’ve been looking forward to seeing her live for a long time and she exceeded my expectations.
Great venue with a great musician and vocalist!
