Arcada Theatre

The Bacon Brothers were fabulous! I got tickets to the show only really knowing the skits that Kevin Bacon had done with Jimmy Fallon, and what he sings to his goats, and with his wife! The 5 man band played for about 1 1/2 hours- just the right amount of talking, and tons of songs. The songwriting was really catchy so even after hearing a chorus you could sing right along. The encore was the icing on the cake. We loved the back stories to the songs. Each song was so unique and such a mix of styles, fast and slow. You can tell that Micheal and Kevin truly love to perform together and music runs in their blood. The talent of all members was obvious. What a treat to experience this concert in an intimate setting. You could tell the mostly 50+ people wanted to get up to dance, but the audience was polite- and didn't want to block the view of those who wished to sit. The Arcada Theatre is a pretty special place. As first timers, it was amazing along with all the staff members and security too.

When Bat out of Hell was released in 1977, I was 15 years old and raging with hormones! Then suddenly, I had a soundtrack to match the teenage crazy this midwestern-boy was dealing with! Last night, Meetloaf rekindled the passion and power of 1977 with focused clarity and balls-to-the-wall rock-'n'-roll! Great musical set as they served up this magnificent album in its entirety with the talented Benny Resonance as our master-of-ceremonies and ring leader! Emotional and raw performance that should be embraced by all fans!

It's absolutely fabulous. 75 years old danny bangs those drums as though he's 25 years old. It's absolutely unreal. This band sounds just like Chicago, formerly known as CTA, Chicago Transit Authority until, THEN mayor, Richard M. Daily told them, "No, no noo nooo, and they then shortened their name to simply, Chicago. The rest is music history in the making. I've loved Chicago City and the same named band Chicago it's named after. They never made a song I hadn't liked. Every chance I get to see Chicago or CTA in Chicago, I'll go see, hear them. All the musicians are talented. I'm truly impressed by this show and by Ron Onesti Entertainment at the Arcada and Des Plaines Theaters. Thank you, Ron. You are a true music lover.

Mr. Big delivered an exciting, techincallly awesome and foundly reminiscent show that brings you back to 1991 when their album "Lean into It" came out. This supergroup of rock gods makes it look easy. Nick on drums kicking it, Billy who makes bass guitar extra cool -front and center , Eric with his soulful rock bluesy, southern voice and Paul, pioneer rock guitar master, one of the fastest I have ever seen and my guitar hero, flawless. Sad this is their farewell tour as they are so magical to watch, but glad I got to see them again and meet them too! Great, hard working and talented guys and staff. A must see show of these legendary musicians!

I would give this 10 stars if I could. First of all, BEAUTIFUL theatre and this was the BEST concert experience I have ever had in my 61 years of attending concerts since I was 16. My friend and I had been anticipating seeing Matteo for many months and the experience exceeded our wildest expectations. Matteo was so sweet and appreciative of his fans at the soundcheck experience. The staff couldn't have been kinder and more helpful. Then seeing Matteo's performance & hearing that magnificent voice in person was AMAZING!!!! I hope Matteo will return to the Arcada Theatre next year. PLEASE!!!!!

Great 2-set show!! Nice mix of originals in with Rush covers. I liked that they included a few less-played Rush tunes which I hadn't expected, such as Bastille Day and Something For Nothing. As for the original material, YYNOT has their own vibe which stands very well on its own - really enjoy those ones too! Their new lead vocalist was excellent and seemed completely at ease with the material and had good interaction with the audience/stage presence. The Arcada was full with an enthusiastic crowd and is a wonderful venue to see a band like this. Not a bad seat in the place the sound was great. If you get a chance to attend a YYNOT show - go for it!

The Maddie Poppe concert featuring guest artist Megan Danielle was fabulous. Megan sang very recognizable songs that she sang on American idol. She opened w the famous John Prine song, Angel from Montgomery. She knocked it out of the park. She was accompanied by a guitarist, Gabe who is a member of Maddie Poppe's band. He's an exceptional guitatist. Maddie Poppe casually walked onto the stage without any introduction while carrying her guitar, a water bottle and some hot tea. She was very laid back and candid in her conversation w the audience. Maddie Poppe sang a full set of songs, some old and some new and yet to be released accompanied by her three piece band of accomplishmented musicians. Her new songs were very personal and heartfelt. One in particular that I really liked was, "SOS, I'm In Love." It had a really good vibe and spoke about a new relationship that she wasn't actively planning on. After her set Maddie thanked the audience and then left the stage, only to return for an unplanned encore due to the very loud applause and the calling out of her name, Maddie, Maddie, Maddie. Maddie returned to the stage and politely told the audience, in a very kind way, that she didn't do encores and essentially thought that they were contrived. She did however grace the audience, by taking an audience vote on three song options, one of which she agreed to sing as her encore. The vote was for the classic hit "Landslide." It was a hit. Maddie has a great sense of humor, and ocassionaly throws in a bit of sarcasm too. Her performance did away w the American Idol Hollywood fluff and was as genuinely open, honest and as candid and sincere as can be. The Maddie Poppe and featured guest Megan Danielle concert was absolutely worth the rush hour drive of 45 miles from Chicago to St. Charles at the Arcada Theatre which is a wonderfully restored theater by owner Ron Onesti.

I’ve seen Donnie Vie several times and have backstage pass access to all his shows ! This one was one of the best ! He sounded great with new band , and got nice pictures with him after the show too ! He’s always so down to earth person to talk to and quite funny too ! Loved the venue too !

Seeing Leo Sayer in concert was a dream come true. The venue was terrific! The ONLY thing I would say that would have made it better is if the chairs on the floor were staggered. I sat behind a big tall man and he blocked my view for most of the show. So I leaned to look between him and the person sitting next to him. It was a bit uncomfortable. Other than that, Leo's voice was top notch and he put on quite a show!

A little short. Musicians were excellent. Could have played a couple more songs. Some crazy lady kept screaming "woo woo, woo hoo!" even during the quiet moments, when AJ was talking and ....worse of all and unforgivable, during "Time in a Bottle". If I was AJ, I wouldn't have done any more songs after that due to that Rude Bitch. She must have thought she was at a Motley Crue show. But we liked the band a lot and loved the venue.

OMG, what a night! The show was AMAZING, the meet and greet was MAGICAL and the entire experience was mind blowing!If you have not caught WASP live, you missed out! And if your show is coming up, be prepared to have your ass rocked off! Thanks to Jay for making the meet and greet a seamless experience and thanks to Blackie for just being!

The venue was nice, the M&G was one of the best I have ever attended, by far the most professionally organized for pictures, autographs, and Q&A; the coordinator Jay was very cool. WASP was a bucket list band and Blackie & Co did not disappoint. Great show, sounded great, and the "credits" at the end acknowledging the past members was a classy touch. Blackie is one of a kind and we like it that way!

Is this 1982 or 2022?!? The mighty Saint sounded amazing. What a show. John’s voice was superb! Jeff and Phil were absolutely on target. Joey was excellent and Gonzo brought the drums of Thunder! It was truly a spectacular show from the first chords of Reign of fire to the last note of March of the Saint! Cannot wait to see these guys play again!

The show was absolutely one of the most wonderful concerts that I have ever been to. The venue with the remodel is outstanding. I hope America continues on every year. Dewey thanks for the guitar pick. I loved this band since my freshman year in college. I cannot believe all the other groups you were fortunate to tour with. Thanks again for a great concert. Love you guys!

I've been a fan of this band ever since I first heard them on KSHE (St. Louis) in November, 1974. I purchased "Remember The Future" in December, 1974 and their next album "Down To Earth" in May, 1975. By far my favorite is "Recycled" (featuring Larry Fast on synthesizers). The band opened with "Rio" and went on to play the entire second side of Recycled! After playing a few new songs from the most current albums, Remember the Future was played in its entirety followed by "A Tab In The Ocean." Several more songs from their 14 albums plus 2 encores rounded out a magical evening with the band. Ron Howden's drumming was as good as when I first saw the band in 1975, and for a man who is in his mid-70's that's very impressive...he didn't miss a beat! Afterwards, the band stayed to talk with the fans and as founding member Derek "Mo" Moore said at the end of the show, "We're not leaving until everyone else is gone and everything that you want signed is signed." The Arcada Theater in St. Charles, IL was a great venue to watch this legendary band, and I look forward to seeing more bands there!

Felt like the 80s again! It was the 1st of four nights of special holiday shows. Juan did one bass guitar "helicopter" and danced the stage, and Stephen wandered the stage all night chatting between song. The standing room only sold out crowd of about 1000 sang along loudly to some songs throughout the show. Promised to return in 2020.

Band was AMAZING!!! They were nice enough to do a meet and greet after their set. They are truly appreciative of their fans. This was my first time at this venue and was quite surprised that while the band was playing most of the people, like 90%, were just sitting down! It felt awkward. I have never experienced anything like that. The band literally had to tell everybody to get up!!! The venue was extremely hot, there was no air conditioner!!! I was dying from the heat I can't even begin to imagine how the band was feeling under all those lights and no air. The stars are for the band because they were AWESOME!!! Thank you Autograph for a memorable night!!!

Outstanding show by an outstanding band. My wife and I purchased a VIP, and I must say that every band member was down to earth, and very cordial. They all seemed to really appreciate their fans coming out to see the show. That’s not always the case with some bands, for whatever reason. If you haven’t seen these guys, live you are doing yourself a disservice. I would highly recommend seeing them perform and I would also recommend the VIP as well. You won’t be disappointed.

The Arcada Theater is a very good performance spot. All three acts were great! Paul Revere’s Raiders played many of their top hits and even backed up Peter Rivera of Rare Earth and Mitch Ryder. It was as if I was still living in the 1960’s. The concert was billed as Where The Action Is Tour and yes it reminded me of the Dick Clark produced television show. I give this performance a 👍up and ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️five stars!

Eric is older now. He still has "the voice" - like all of us getting older, he picks his spots to really push the tempo and loudness, but he is a one of a kind talent and he put on a great show. He played most of the Animals hits and included some Randy Newman and Buffalo Springfield music that was really appropriate for where we find ourselves today. His band was solid and supported him marvellously. All in all, it was a concert I'll always be glad that I saw. Don't let me be misunderstood - he didn't bring anyone down on Sunday at the Arcada! Rock on, Eric!
