Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall

I have seen Leann Morgan in concert before and she was always great. This time was a huge let down. I know she has been very busy with the movie and her new tv show, and it shows in her stand up. The new material was clearly not worked on, as it was fairly weak. When I saw her two years ago, my stomach hurt from laughing so hard. This time I barely cracked a smile. I still love her to death, but I won't be going to any of her shows anymore.

Air Supply was phenomenal at concert on 5/4/24 Sarasota FL Van Wezel performing arts. They had the fans totally engaged in every song, lyrics melodies choruses instrumentals. Air Supply inclusive authentic kind and pure love for their fans is a testament to them celebrating 50 years. Founders Graham Russell and Russell Hitchcock and band members Aaron Mclain,Pavel Valdman, Doug Gild,Mirko,Cat, Cassie fill out hearts and souls with Air Supply Music. I recommend to anyone that love's Air Supply Music and has not seen them in concert. They can make all venues rock.Go see them and you will see why they have a fan base that is second to none. Airheads.

A Phenomenal Night with Matteo Matteo Bocelli’s performance was nothing short of extraordinary. He commended the stage with remarkable confidence, showcasing a voice that was both powerful and deeply emotive. His presence was captivating, effortlessly demonstrating his ability to tell meaningful stories, and connecting with the audience throughout the evening. He demonstrated incredible vocal range and heartfelt delivery of each musical piece, leaving a lasting impression on everyone. Matteo is undoubtedly a rising star, and this unforgettable performance is the just the beginning of what promises to be an incredible journey in music. I hope he never loses his unpretentious demeanor, as it is very refreshing.

Wow'! What a fantastic evening.!! This is our fourth time at a Chris Botti concert and every time it just gets better and better! Chris was as usual his handsome ,charming, accomplished, fun self but the highlight for me in the whole evening was the violinist. She was so talented. She literally brought tears to my eyes. The band was also extraordinary, especially the young piano player. The lighting was excellent. My only small complaint is that it was so loud in the auditorium that I had to take my hearing aids out.!! Xxoo Barbara Gardner

Boz is a Perfectionist! His band members are incredible, too. Saw Don McLean on Sunday May 1st in Indianapolis and Boz 3 days later in Sarasota. Two 70's icons. Both venues are small and the shows were amazing. Randy in INDY. Boz was a Perfect 10 and McLean was a strong 8.5.

I had the pleasure of joining Jonathan Butler and Friends at Christmas Show, at The Ruth Eckerd Hall Auditorium. I've gone to see him there for many years now, because, he as well as all of the other performers, put on an excellent show, year after year! They make me want to keep going back again and again!

This was a definite five star event. It was one of the top three shows I have ever attended in my life. What Derek Huff and his wife Haley have an accomplished here is all inspiring, and they bring a humanity to life that we rarely see. I have told any person I know to never miss seeing this show if possible!

Five stars does not give last nights performance justice. I give it a 10. Last night was the 22nd time my wife and I saw Paul Anka in person together. It was her 24th time,, her first being in 1956 at Steel Pir in Atlantic City when she was 13. This was the best concert I have seen him perform. It was electrifying for me, as he has improved with age. His voice has not changed, and his orchestra is phenomenal. I hope to keep seeing him in both Sarasota and Atlantic City each time he comes. Since we are the same age, I can appreciate his energy physical condition.

Outstanding!! This KWS concert was the best we've seen from them! With the added bonus of their opening act, Eric Gales, it was absolutely off the chain!! The Van Wezel Auditorium was a perfect venue for KWS and I certainly do hope he returns to Sarasota again.

Another Sold Out performance at the Van Wezel in Sarasota last night. Joe was in great form as usual, wearing a smartly tailored blue suit. Non stop great music with Joe introducing a Rising Star that he played dueling guitars with and took his sun glasses off and shook hands with him at the end of their music duos. Audience was super exited Bonamassa fans - electrifying and exiting great music as usual - sorry if you missed it - ❤️🎸🎸🎸🎸5 STARS

I have seen him in Fort Myers and Tampa. This was the best performance by far. He was on point and funny. Love his band and all the songs. I missed my favorite back up singer, Noah?? He wasn't there last night. So disappointed. Other than that got my tickets for the Hard Rock in Fort Lauderdale Feb 9th! Can't see him enough! Amazing how many concerts he does as his age. Love you Franke!!

The group is spectacular! A Capella music is so cool. Their harmonies are beyond compare. The first part of the show was a mix of non-holiday music. The voices, especially the bass and percussionist were excellent. Most, if not all, of their songs were just amazing. The second half was holiday music, each better than the one before. This is without a doubt the holiday show to see.

Concert is always an uplifting and joyous experience. I consider my Christmas officially started once I see Straight No Chaser in concert every year. Venue was very easy to navigate. Especially since we were running a little late to the event. We will be back to see them again in a heartbeat.

Definitely wanted to see this show before he retired and it did not disappoint.One can get very nostalgic thinking about how many great performers are nearing retirement. Kenny had so many wonderful songs over the years, and thank God we can continue to listen for years to come. Thanks Kenny Loggins.

The show was absolutely amazing and fantastic! I loved watching Nick sing and dance and it brought me back so many memories when I was a kid! I was so happy I got to meet him in person and get my pictures taken with him and I even got him to sign my shirt. It was the most amazing experience I ever had and I hope I get many experiences like that with him in the future and with the rest of the members of Backstreet Boys! My friends enjoyed seeing him too!

Nice venue. VIP was very smooth and organized. Melissa always freakin kills it on stage, everytime! Not only is she an amazing person and advocate for so many great things but she is extremely talented. Definitely one of my favorite performers and so grateful for the photo op experience. So cool to meet her!! I'll never forget that day!!

Michael looked very rested, his voice was strong, his interaction with the audience was fun. He band also played there heart out. The staff at the center was very helpful, friendly. I do believe that there were a couple of ladies in the front row should not have been able to have anymore alcoholic beverages as they spilt them on the floor and disrupted the concert(at least the people around them). I’m okay with a little inaction but when you pay high dollar amount for a ticket you don’t like to have to put up with these types of people

MARC COHN was MARC COHN! His authenticity is palpable. His sense of humor, his music, and his heart always delivers. Sitting dead center four rows from the stage made it easy to connect. Thank you, Sir. If only, you had done “The Things We’ve Handed Down” the night would have been complete…well…almost

Boz is like a fine wine; he simply gets better over time! He entered the stage to a standing ovation, which seemed to take him by surprise. He played songs from all across his wide collection of music. Can’t say enough positive compliments. And the band was phenomenal!

We enjoyed the show tremendously. We try to see Paul anytime he performs near us and we are never disappointed. One of his first songs,"Put your head on my shoulder" was one I used to dance with my first boyfriend in high school. Brings back many great nostalgic memories!
