The Crowbar is an amazingly intimate venue. A perfect spot to catch your favorite bands or find new ones! Shannon and the Clams did not disappoint, an incredible show that I'll not soon forget! Being Dead was a perfect opener to get the energy ⚡ up! Go to the Crowbar! ❤️
This whole line up was top tier. Crowbar is a great hole in the wall place that gives you the intimacy of house shows I grew up watching as kid. Capstan never disappoints-I saw them as an opener last year when the released their album and was stoked they were doing a headline tour. Definitely a band that deserves more attention/ recognition for just their melodies and great fusion of different genres that bands like Silverstein have done. Not to mention absolutely lyrically underrated.
Loved every single aspect of this event. The venue was fantastic. Dig the space, the layout, the setup, the sound, stage management, the location and the vibe. The bands were all solid, each with their own distinctive sound, yet complimenting each other very well. Peace Cult rocked it. Everybody was into it. I was in the pit for most of PC's set. I haven't had this much fun since I was in college (and it's been a good while)! I watched and video recorded part of the last two songs from the position of the sound booth. It's fun rewatching because I can see the beauty of the band and the crowd feeding off each other in some sort of rapture. It was priceless. A memory that will stay with me until I am no more. Excellent job, kids! You ROCK!!!
Good (4th time swing them) but the dudes in the band seem kind of prickish and the lead singer told the crowd “your lucky we’re playing 2 encores”. No, your band is lucky that we keep paying to see you so you can keep touring/making records…. ungrateful and snobby. Last time they played one of the guitarists was an asshole as well 👎🏽
Felt secure and safe, Andy is a fantastic VIP manager and photographer, and the whole band was so amazing. Dallon is so nice to talk to. VIP is absolutely worth it if you’re a big fan. Venue was a little small but overall still an amazing time!
Great night at Crowbar with The Beths. A highlight was definitely 1st encore, You are a Beam of Light. Elizabeth Stokes held the crowd rapt and silent for the entirety of the song. Gorgeous, moving and as good as it gets for live music.
Second time seeing them, but it was cool to see them play both albums in full. I really enjoyed the opener which was one of the members playing guitar in Pedro the Lion. I feel like the sound for his set was a little better and they were having technical difficulties during Pedro’s set but other than that it was an enjoyable show.
Not the best night to try out new earplugs (they didn’t work, I’m still ringing) or stand right in front of the amps. They played on the floor so it was either that or not be able to see them play at all. They were great (LOUD!!!) and I walked away with one of Black pus’s drumstick🤘🏽Didn’t notice his bloodstains were on it til the next day haha.
Super good as always. A year prior I had seen them at the ritz opening for uncle acid without knowing who they were. They completely blew me away , stole the show, and were very loud so I made sure to remember to bring my earplugs this time haha! I felt like the sound was better at the ritz but it was cool to be up close and see his pedal board and keys being played/manipulated.
What a great show, in a fun, intimate venue (Crowbar in Tampa)! Consummate professionals King Buffalo made it feel like they were performing for a group of friends, interacting with the crowd between songs, and with never a note out of place. And it was lead singer/guitarist Sean McVay's birthday, which made it even more special!
Ceremony is a tour de force. Once singer Ross Farrar steps on stage the band snaps into action losing themselves in their art and performance for the next 45 minutes. Echoing bands like Joy Division and at times Black Flag this eclectic band will scratch everything itch.
This concert is definitely going to be a core memory for me for sure. I saw flipturn for the first time when they opened for motion city soundtrack in Orlando and that was my last concert before the pandemic, and you know how it is when you go see a concert you just can’t get enough you listen to the album on repeat over and over, I did that all through the pandemic with flipturn. Seeing them again was totally a full circle moment. Dancing around and screaming lyrics obnoxiously is the best feeling, and getting a setlist just made my night. Hearing everyone scream and cheer for this band that I’ve been listening to sense heavy colors came out was so beautiful I’m so proud of how far they’ve come 💛😩
I brought three friends to their first TWRP show and it didn't disappoint. I thought we'd be ignored in our dark corner by stage left, but the band - both bands - made EVERYONE a part of the show. Damn, such a good show.
Absolutely off the hook!!!
If Lucifer comes to your town and you don’t go... that’s your loss!
She’s amazing! The Band is amazing! And the crowd immediately is full of your Metal friends!!
Shout out to Savage Master (loved them!) and Overdose! A lot of people say Overdose reminds them of Motorhead. I get that. But for some reason they remind me of Alabama Thunderpussy. Great rock ‘n roll! 🤘🏼
The show was awesome. I wish the turnout was better, I get it was a Monday night, but the event started early and was over before midnight. No reason any working class person couldn't have attended.
On the bright side, I got to hang out with the talent, which was cool.
It is nice to know that there are people out there rapping about real life and not just their iced out grills, $1000 bottles of sparkling wine, bitches and bank accounts.
The venue is excellent as well. A the layout is a bit weird for a concert, but they use the space well and the sound technician, Paul, knows how to fill the room without blowing out your eardrums.
This was my 3rd time seeing Thank You Scientist perform live and they were amazing as always. Bent Knee, while not my usual cup of tea to listen to on a regular basis, were actually a pleasure to see perform live. The Tea Club, as it turns out, is my cup of tea so this was a nice intro to them. I downloaded their new album, If/When, and have been listening to it all day. I would give this show 15 stars if I could as all 3 bands deserve 5 stars each!
Best show ever. My buddy passed out on the floor , dude next to me puking his brains out. McDonalds on acid on stage melting peoples faces. Some chic handing out handys in the back alley. Best metal show ever
Ned Flanders stole the show.
Awesome, safe feeling venue which was great for teens. The little bar around the edge was nice for parents while their kids were at the front singing along with Chloe & Cavetown. I’d love to go to this venue again, as well as seeing Chloe & Robbie’s shows again!!! They both have beautiful voices and I had a great time.
Frank Iero along with the Future Violents absolutely rocked and I will DEFINITELY see them again. And the opening act Reggie and the Full Effect (James Dewees), brought the biggest crowd of an opening act that Ive ever seen (it was well deserved). He was hilarious and I would also see him in the future. Frank was a little sick which was fine because he sang beautifully and when he couldn’t, the audience sang for him and you could tell that it made his night a little better (Especially BFF because Lily needed a little cheering up). Frank Iero has a talent that is very enjoyable to all.
