He’s a great artist and songwriter and even better performer. Played for 2 1/2 hours! I thought of Springsteen! He did one song with no amplification - just him and his voice and it was a cool move, in the end. At first it seemed like a mistake… Then everybody stopped even a whisper - the place quieted down to making no noise at all, and all we could hear was the rain, his voice and the guitar. A very risky move that turned out really well.
The setlist was one for the ages! Chicago Farmer’s wailing vocals and intelligent working class folk writing continue to raise the standard….
Was a great show at Skippers!! Great music at a great venue. Thanks to another great independent venue!
Great show. The music and sound were fantastic. Most fun I’ve had at concert in years.
Red Wanting Blue put on another amazing show last night. The band sounded great and the guest violin player was a nice addition. Kristopher James as the opener got things off on the right foot.
Awesome as always!!! COLD night outside at Skippers but so was last year. Never felt it due to ditch digging all night!! 😂 DEFINITELY will go see them again and again!!! Such a FUN night!!
Eric is one cool ass blues cowboy will some New Orleans funk sprinkled in. He’s got a fantastic voice you really can’t get enough of. The songs and grooves will keep you dancing all night long. I see him every single time he comes to town. ❤️
The guest guitarist, Jaden Lehman, BROUGHT IT. So did the rest of the band. What a great show!
Great show as always. Reckless Kelly always rocks the house. Enjoyed the opener Hangtown as well. The venue was fun. Unique. The food was also good.
Love this band. True honky tonk band. Joshua Ray Walker was terrific. What a treat to see both in one location. Amazing venue. I’ll be back.
Great night at Skipper’s with RWB. They worked in a couple of new songs with favorites like Audition, White Snow and Hope on a Rope.
Still as awesome as they were in 1994, 2014, and 2018. First time seeing them at Skipper’s Smokehouse. It was cold but warm atmosphere and hot cider drinks made it comfortable and fun!
Chilly night in Tampa, but a hot band to listen to. We bundled up for an outdoor concert at the Skipperdome and saw a fine show from the great Marcia Ball and her band. Mike Schermer on guitar, Michael Archer on bass, Eric Bernhardt on sax, and Mo Roberts on drums. They played for about 90 minutes on a windy night with temps in the low 50s, while most of the audience was dancing to keep warm. Good show well worth the price of admission.
Love Skippers, LOVE Danielle Nicole...our 5th time seeing her...never miss an opportunity when they come to Tampa!!
Always an awesome show! Even better at Skipper’s 🎶🎸🎂🍻🎉 Even better when it’s Damon’s Birthday Bash!!
Thank You !! it was a beautiful night for Live music. You guys are so awesome Can’t wait to see y’all again. 5stars
Ward is always a great show! He’s a genuine guy who just brings it. No frills, no BS… just solid country music! And he’s a funny bastard too.
Great show! Ana and her entire band are incredible musicians. Always love the shoes and staff at Skipper’s Smokehouse.
Drove up from Sarasota to see Sean , the two sets he played were great ! If you want real tight blues music Sean and his band deliver all the time! Todd Cook has to be one of the best bass players in America! Rick seems to have found a comfort zone with the band and the new drummer holds everything together! Sound system at Skippers never fails ! Great night.
