Emo's Austin

I love BYOP. I've seen them every chance I've had, which is only twice, but they were on hiatus for a while. I love the energy. I love the songs. The set list was great. Jemina still rocks with the best of them. I'm not going to rate Emo's sins as part of their show, but come on, Emo's, what's with all the railing? It kills the show. Emo's feels small, and you are right at the stage, but they keep you from getting anywhere near your favorite artists. Artist reaching out to a waving fan? Not here. Stage dive? Nope, no fun at Emo's. Their $14 beers are in line with other venues though, so you just have to complain about that across the board. But BYOP? They were awesome. They are always awesome.

This concert was 32 years in the making for me. I missed seeing AiC at Lollapalooza and never took the opportunity after that to go to a show in the 90’s. When I heard Jerry Cantrell was coming to Austin, I realized I had to go! Not only did he play solo songs but also some staples from AiC’s vast library. Jerry is such an amazing artist! His skill and craft is second to none and his sound is both vocally and instrumentally top-tier peak! If you’re a fan of the Big Four of Grunge (or just like great music), you HAVE to see Jerry Cantrell!!!

They were so good live! I loved the show and was really happy that they even came back for an encore. They played some of my favorite songs, which I was really grateful to hear live. The venue was pretty hot but at least they’re ere passing out free water. The merch had a decent variety. I was looking for a poster and a cd. No cd’s or posters there but I ordered the cd in the online store. I’m excited to get it. I did buy a shirt there with the candy heart design. It’s so cute! I’d definitely see them again. Come back to San Antonio or Austin soon!

Connor is one of my top favorite rappers and artists! To be able to watch him perform live on his first tour was crazy! I fell into his music two years ago and have loved it every step of the way. I love the bits and skits he does. How the show opened up was prefect and his interaction with the audience. Loved how he got us to participate. Also, loved Graham's music and getting to sample some of his original work and hear how he's not only producing but performing music too. Loved the concert but maybe next time have two shows. One day for the kids and next for the adults. Connor's music reaches a wide variety of ages.

David Kushner is the best and he sings daylight and it truly makes me happy and it makes me cry we love you David Kushner and also I am so proud of David Kushner for making us the song daylight. The song daylight is the best song you could ever imagine if you just listen to it it is a feeling song it’s a love song it’s everything song. What will we do about David Kushner? I think our world would just be a monster hiding in the cave sad,and I’ll be sad if we lose David Kushner he’s a hero in my heart. I love David Kushner just remember love not hate. And also,❤️ make your imagination go wild.make your dream come true. David Kushner you’re a hero thanks for being in my heart and everyone else’s.

Watching the show was great. The bands were great. The venue is nice. It’s so sad that some young people don’t know how to behave at a concert and will be pushing and hit you on purpose just to move in front of you. Not even mention how instead of enjoying the show they need to SCREM each word of the song in your ear. Humans, we need to do better. With that being said, the bands did deliver and I am thankful for that.

Emo's is an small setting with standing room only, but places like that have a great track record for shows for me. There were other bands, but I was there for Trivium. Matt Heafy and the boys put on a fantastic show. They really got the crowd involved and my neck is sore from all the headbanging I did that night. Matt made sure the crowd surfers were safe. Getting to see them perform their works live was such a treat. They're masters of their craft. Overall, one of the best shows I've ever been to. So glad my wife and son came and enjoy themselves too.

Literally the best night of my life. The energy was there throughout the entire night even though they were exhausted from the previous shows. Their opener Aidan Bissett killed it to. His music was great and over all everyone was amazing. Love this band so much and I can’t wait to go back and see them again.

MARGO PRICE, and her band were very, very, impressive. They are a super tight band. Margo's energy and her seemingly making eye contact with everyone in the joint, makes her one of the premier performers in the world. I have seen her perform throughout her career, and she seems like she is really hitting her stride. MARGO can always count on me to support her music. Only thing left to say is... WOW! WOW! WOW! Daniel donato and his cosmic country also killed it. Daniel can shred any song but his ability to stay "in the pocket", and not overplay is amazing. Daniel is nothing short of amazing!!!

the show was amazing but the venue wasn’t so good. the crew was very rude and there was a specific guy who kept telling me my partner couldn’t have me on their back!?? like we were up against the wall and not in anyone’s way and he was on our ass even though multiple people were crowd surfing. the merch was cheap and over priced and then the bad didn’t even come out to say hi :/// also paid $15 for a drink. was a little disappointed with the experience

I love ZHU, but I guess for this show he was trying to go for an intimate crowd experience. He preformed from the middle of the crowd, where the light/sound booth (?) was. Half of the crowd has no idea he was actually preforming as no one could see him. The only people who got a decent show were the people that happened to be standing in the middle.

Overall, I had an ok time, but the vocals were just not great. I’ve been listening to Cannons for years, and this was the first time I finally got to see them live. It may have just been an off night, but it really seemed like Michelle was struggling to sound anything like she does on the albums. On the bright side, musically, everything sounded good, and Michelle still has a fun and engaging stage presence. Maybe my expectations were just too high, going into this one.

ABR put on a killer show! They absolutely murdered the stage and got everyone hyped up. The opening acts Void of Vison, Hollow Front, & We Came As Romans were awesome too and it was the best metalcore show i've been too. Would 100% recommend VIP if you have the opportunity because they are some of the nicest people you could ever shake hands with! 10/10 show \m/

Show was lit!!!!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥 that man really went out there and dropped a two hour set. Phenomenal performance overall. Loved it!! And I took two friends who didn’t consider themselves T-Pain fans prior to the show, but we’re looking for a good time. However, they left the show fans of this amazing artist afterwards. Crowd was definitely in to it.

Brilliant show! The opening band, Intervals, absolutely crushed their set! I'd not heard of them before this event, and their music was fantastic; melodic, technical and bombastic. The band was extremely tight and on point. Then, Animals As Leaders was amazing. This was the first time I heard them live and it was an incredible treat! Excellent music all night long by two bands with exceptional talent. I expect Intervals will rise to great heights and Animals will be even more stratospheric and iconic as time moves on. The volume was loud enough to fill a stadium, so I'll keep that in mind the next time I visit Emos! lol

The show was great. Wish they’d played a longer set (45 minutes). Been waiting to see Lacuna Coil since I first heard them in 2004 Cristina, Andrea , Marco, Diego & Richard put together an outstanding show!!! The only issue I had was with the merch, due to supply issues they didn’t have any of the larger sizes of the actual tour shirt.

It’s was great show. Sound was good and clear. Stage was good with a fence set up for most of the show for crazy slamming old school songs. Last few songs were newer and they removed the fence. Lol. Guess not as rowdy for the new stuff. All in all my first time seeing Ministry and long time fan so it was good.

Oh my god best show I have ever gone too. Been an IDKHOW fan since 2017. Val gave me a set list when I screamed for one and they were all so kind. I cried my eyes out and dallons vocals had me on the floor crying after. Every single penny and more was worth it. I will love these guys till the day I die.

It was stellar! Set If Off is always incredible live, but this show took the cake. It was so nice to see them back in-person, and it was great to “heal together again” as the lead singer, Cody Carson, likes to say. Cody, Max, and Zach are incredible performers who are sincere, know how to engage with the crowd, and know how to just have fun! Could not recommend their shows or their music more!

Been listening to madeon since 2014, and I never thought I'd be able to see him live, but I did. This is the first madeon concert I've ever been to and it was amazing! 👐😁♥️ I definitely will attend his next one in Austin when he comes back. One of the best and memorable days for me! 😉 So glad I was able to attend! Thank you madeon! 👐😀
