Creed was amazing. Great energy and the songs are as good as ever. My only complaint is they completely ignored their fourth album, Full Circle. There are great songs on it and I was really hoping to hear at least one of two from that one. I realize there's only so much time to play, but they could have easily cut 3 Doors Down's set time (they played for 70 minutes) and added a couple songs to their set.
Fabulous show! Loverboy were great as the opening act! Sammy has a great voice and is highly energetic with and without his guitar. Michael Anthony was outstanding on bass and vocals (the old VH classic - Ain’t Talking ‘Bout Love). Jadon Bonham was great on drums - on both Sammy’s solo songs as well as all the Van Halen material! Last but not least - Joe Satriani kicked a** on guitar all night long - from the VH and solo Hagar songs to his own song as well. All in all a completely wonderful show that was surely enjoyed by all 12,000+ in Phoenix!
4 & a half stars because He should’ve performed more instead of that stupid b word and mother F word band called bones which was completely not the same genre as Limp Bizkit and the others! Riff was a great host, but should’ve had more time performing and engaging with the audience… however as a whole,
First and foremost I have to say Thank you! Thank you for the great price and tickets! Was really hot, had some fun and some ice cream and got some great merchandise! Purchased Riff Raff Merch & one limp Bizkit shirt for myself and my gf. Bones was garbage, due to not being that genre of music. However, limp bizkit did amazingly well in concert! N8NoFace was insanely and ironically great & Cory Feldman killed it! Wow, I hope to see them again and Riff Raff was great too. Like I said, but I wish he performed more. Only thing we didn’t like was the fact you couldn’t bring in one gallon bottles of water that was frozen or semi thawed… another good thing though is man was this show nostalgic for it being Limp Bizkit and still has the voice and energy that he did to perform that long and kill it! Again Thank You, Would go again and or see them again minus bones.
If I could put more stars I would. Morgan Wade was new to me and I’m so glad I got to hear her music and see her and the band play live, great artist and performer. I have since added her music to my playlist, she for sure gained a new fan in me and my bestie who came with me. Joan Jett and the Blackhearts, were Iconic, she killed it and is as beautiful as ever. They are all aging like a fine wine or whiskey if you prefer. I never thought I’d get to see them live, thought I missed my chance when I was younger. Was beyond awesome, they rocked hardcore and the lights and images were pretty sick too! The legend that is Alanis Morissette is out of the atmosphere incredible, she absolutely made the Moon rise that night. She is a stunning human inside and out and her voice is as strong as it’s ever been. She has always been my soul sister in pain and happiness, inspiring me as a singer and musician and she is on a plane all her own. Incredible performer, the whole band is next level. The entire amphitheater were on their feet and singing along with all our hearts. She’s one of the artists that played a role in me still being here, she’s an incredible writer and lyricist and sat with me in my pain so I wasn’t in it alone. It’s been two days and I’m still buzzing with joy from the experience. If you are on the fence or are waiting for a good review to get tickets, let this be your sign. The show was fantastic and was like getting three concerts in one. Also, if they have the opportunity to meet Alanis in your area, definitely do it. My voice coach and incredible singer, songwriter, performer Jenn McMillan got to meet her and ask a question that Alanis answered in her sweet wisdom. If I ever get the opportunity to see her again I will definitely pay extra to meet her in person. One last shout out to the venue, Talking Stick Resort Amphitheatre is an awesome venue, I will definitely be seeing more shows there. Getting in and out of the parking lot and amphitheater was a breeze, honestly I was incredibly impressed. The layout is so functional and there are multiple places to get food, drinks, snacks, merch and restrooms spread out all around the venue which really helps with the lines being very quick and efficient. The venue is well staffed and they all were so kind and helpful, they had police directing traffic when it was time to leave which made it so incredibly easy. A lot of venues could take a page from their book. Needless to say, it was an epic event at an epic venue. I’m still on cloud nine from the experience. Thank you 🎵❤️
I am only deducting a star because of their choice of opening act with Falling In Reverse, because they got me disturbed before I got to watch Disturbed. But I don’t want to turn this into a hate filled rant about that tool of a lead singer. This is about Disturbed. In a single word - wow! I was amazed at how much they sounded like their own recordings. Big stand out moments were 10,000 Fists In The Air and Sound Of Silence. Awesome show.
Of all the venues in Arizona, this one seems to be run the best. Organized, clean, plenty of options for food, drink, merchandise locations. The sound is great, getting into the parking lot sucked but getting out took hardly anytime at all.
The show? It's the Foo Fighters - you get your moneys worth - they played for 2.5 hours - new stuff, old stuff, you can tell they are up there having fun and the audience gets to have fun with them.
The Breeders - so cool to see them back on the road.
The show was perfect Spiritbox was awesome and I will attend every single show they put on in AZ!!! The only issue was I think their sound guy. It seemed like he kept cutting and fading Courtney in and out throughout show. Other than that technical error I highly recommend this show. The band puts on a great performance and they are super sweet and interactive with the crowd. I look forward to seeing them again many times over!!!

Let me start by saying, the concert was absolutely amazing. Everyone playing was amazing. The problem I had, was them changing my VIP Tickets to regular resale tickets without my acknowledgment and even when I tried to argue it, they would send me to multiple different people who would purposely not help and try to force me to move on without any reimbursements on the price differentials. So imagine waiting days for the presale to officially start, being there as soon as it goes live, buying Meet and Greet tickets to go see the man who man your childhood, and they change your tickets without your acknowledgment. Honestly, I’m done with concerts after this. Too many bad and unforgivable BS by who ever is in charge of these tickets. And no, giving me a “premium reserved” parking space doesn’t help me. Especially when it’s in the very front and made it impossible to leave without everyone else leaving first. I can’t forgive this.
It was the best music ever! They are the most gifted and amazing musicians to ever walk this earth! My very favorite band by far, bar none! I wish I could hang out with Sully and the rest of the band mates and listen to them jam . Godsmacks music speaks to me like ñ else in this whole world, I can listen to them all of the time! I sure hope they will come back and play here in Phoenix, AZ again soon!!!
Saw The Black Keys with Cage the Elephant, and The Stone Foxes, a little ways back. At The Mesa Amphitheater, of all places. Before they new up. Right up front.
Tonight?!!
Fronts. I’m the loud, obnoxious, bald asshole. Stage left. Sorry if I negatively impacted ANYONE’s show. They don’t let me out much. The meds and booze mixed a little too well. And…. OH YEAH….. I’m an asshole. Butt I’m filled with good tidings. And, of course, ….shit!
So Dan threw me the pick he’d been using most of the night. The chips and scratches tell the tale. The Dude next to me? Shouted it out loud, that it was meant for me. This guy- Going to Heaven. GOOD MAN!!!!!!!!!!!
The security guard- big, bald, and righteously cool- I can’t say enough good things. He’s a cool, relaxed, alert, and attentive cat..!!!! And if I were you, I wouldn’t F#%€ with him. That is one big, solid dude. And not only a great guy, but ONE HELLUVA MODEL AMERICAN !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you Ak-Chin!!
Thank you , Joann!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you Dan and Patrick!!!!!!!!
3rd show. BEST YET!!!!
See y’all next year, or in another state, only sooner.
ONE LOVE!!!!!!!!!!
One of the best shows in a long time. Bush was such a blast to see love again. Breaking Benjamin STOLE THE SHOW! They sounded EXACTLY like the albums, played all the hits, plus their best B-sides IMO. I will never miss another BB show again. Alice in Chains played their best setlist in years! It was great to see them play Nutshell again! Great lineup front to back. Wish I could see another tour stop for this one. Don't miss it! 🤘
Sammy, Mikey, Vic, and Jason put on a great show with a combination of solo hits, VH, Zep, and new tunes. The opening song (Crazy Times) had a great buildup, leading to the band's turn to take over. From that moment forward, something didn't work correctly with the sound board, leading to several minutes of obvious adjustments behind the scenes. The drum levels were not audible for several moments, the guitars and vocals were not at the correct levels, and things sounded obviously off since I've seen Sammy about a 1/2 dozen times. We observed Sammy giving quick signals in the middle of a tune or two, for the sounds coming out. Was there not a sound check while preparing for this show?
I don't know if it was a device malfunction with the equipment, or human error, but being a music fan, I was really disappointed with the quality of that sound.
The musicians and the show still prevailed and will not prevent me from seeing them again in the future, as Sammy likes to be the gracious host of the party.
The show was epic, but be careful buying tickets through Bandsintown. Showed Blues Traveler in town and a link to buy tickets so I bought some. Then I got an email with a link saying “Your tickets to see Train are here.” Thought I’d screwed up but it turns out Blues Traveler was the opening act for a Train show. I don’t enjoy Train. I still would have gone but probably wouldn’t have paid as much as I did for tickets.
I'm 59 but never saw Styx perform before last evening. They performed an excellent cross section of songs from their career. Tommy Shaw is an overlooked talent when people rank American guitar players and singers. Besides Styx, his work with Damn Yankees and his cover album with Jack Blades of Night Ranger showcase his talent. One side note: why does the keyboardist act so dramatic on stage? His act got old to watch. Anyway, an excellent concert and I'd see them again.
This concert was a lot of fun!! I absolutely love NF and logic was fantastic, he was super interactive with the crowd and kept them engaged. Kyle wasn’t too bad either! It was quick to get in and you can get a great view from almost anywhere in the venue... Only reason why I took a star off was because the staff hardly paid attention to people smoking weed (I had probably 3-4 people just in the general area of me doing it) and it was absolutely hot as hell especially for people on the lawn
Amazing show. Cage played a really long, beautifully performed set, with absolutely spectacular audience interaction(as usual). Matt even stayed in the stands and talked to us for about 20 minutes, after the show. Beck was really good, too. But Cage the Elephant puts on a performance that would steel any show!! I saw them open for the Black Keys at the Mesa Amphitheater several years ago. They continue to grow their sound into something quite special. If you ever have the chance, Cage the Elephant is very much a worthwhile investment, and one helluva good time!!!
Awesome as usual! My husband and I are huge fans and we can never get enough! They played the reg crowd amping tunes and a couple off the new album! I’m digging it more and more the more I listen! You guys better feel us when come to Arizona! The Dirty Heads are always the headliner for us, you’ll always here us screaming encore and chanting for more :) Once we actually got them to stay a little longer, it was at a county fair where we paid like $8 to see them! They couldn’t have made much money, that’s how you know they just fricken rock!!! Always an awesome show, thanks guys and be well, we look forward for more amazing shows to come!
Slayer, Lamb of God and Amon Amarth was so sick. Sad to hear that this is Slayer's last tour but it was worth it. Amon Amarth is bad ass. Saw legit Viking dudes with Bear Skins and all and it was so sweet. Lamb of God stole the show. Sorry Slayer but they were just fucking bad ass. Never again will I miss a Lamb of God concert. Bonfires in the Mosh Pits. People went crazy and it was absolutely bad ass. Bring me back.
