That show was just out of this world. Out of all the I have attended byvJack- all having been in the UK-, it was probably the best one....everything was so well planned, the acoustic was amazing,due to the famous globes hanging from the ceiling of the Royal Albert Hall.....such a unique and magic venue,for a magic and unique artist,who hazs grown and evolved over the years,since his humble beginnngs ' busking' inside cafés in London.....a fiitting venue for the 20th anniversary of a truly wonderful career! Non so se ci sono parole che possiano esprimere la mia ammirazione per il tuo immetalento.....Posso solo ringraziarti e el il tuo gruppo di musicisti che hanno creato tante canzoni e musicà straordinarie.....grazie mille di cuore. ich konnte leider nicht live dabei sein. das konzert in der royal albert hall zu sehen, wäre ein absoluter traum gewesen. leider wollte niemand mit mir nach london fliegen 🥺. nun freue ich mich aber jetzt schon sehr auf seinen auftritt in der schweiz, wenn ich ihn zum dritten mal sehen und live hören kann 💖 ! luzern, biel und nun im oktober in zürich. in der zentralschweiz werde ich seine konzerte immer wieder besuchen. er ist schlicht einmalig ! meine favoriten sind nach wie vor „You Don't Have To Say You Love Me / Io Che Non Vivo Senza Te“, „Love Is On The Line“ und „What More Can I Do“ , da sie mir unglaublich an‘s herz gehen ❤️‍🔥 ! danke JACK 🔆🙏🤩🙏🔆 !!! 〽️y

After a 2 year break, Placebo are truly back and absolutely stole the show at the RAH supporting the Teenage Cancer Trust with Garbage. Robert Smith is a genius for putting this line up together again after so many years. Due to the break, the stripped down set and the 1st and 2nd album tour coming up later this year, it was impossible to predict the setlist. It ended up mostly covering songs from Meds, Sleeping with Ghosts and Black Market Music. Brian's voice still captivates and in an instant I was back in the late 90's, early 00's when men weren't allowed to be vulnerable and we used music to manage our feelings. The crowd seemed to be feeling that too and often broke out into longer rounds of applause after a song (I'm sure I counted up to 5 minutes at one time). What an amazing night. Can't wait for the Re-created tour in December.

I am a longtime fan of Daryl Hall and flew from Salzburg, Austria to London just for the concert. Special in the last years his "Live from Daryls house" show had wonderful moments with guests and also Daryl and his house Band - all world class musicians! I have seen Hall & Oates 2 times before, always a musical highlight and was very exited to see Daryl solo. I must say, I wasn't not dissapointed. Unfortunately the sound in the Royal Albert Hall for this kind of concerts is not really ideal. Much of the subtleties of harmony tuning are lost because the drum set is always too loud. Anyway, Daryls performance was nice, he is almost 78 years old and he can be forgiven for the one or other high note that he does't catch. For the critics, I would like to say, listen to your voice at 78 and don't be so strict. Thank you for a wonderful evening with with great musicians!

Astonishing show. Great performance and extraordinary band. Playlist very tuned but may be Gregory Porter could have been more generous with more vocal performance adding more songs. It was good but short, it was a very intense and great show. Audience was very polite, may be in Spain we would have requested more songs. Gregory Porter was superb with a great swing, he danced and let the band to perform as the master musicians they are. I hope I can see him again in the future. Last show song was 'It's probably me' that was favorite for my sister that passed away before she could see Gregory Porter alive. But she was there enojoying the great performance of this fantastic singer. God bless you Gregory Porter.

Eric Clapton spielt und singt nach wie vor fantastisch ! Ein großartiger Künstler und eine Legende. Die Konzerte in der Royal Albert Hall sind mit ihm immer etwas besonderes - seine Spieltechnik ist sowohl auf der E-Gitarre und auf der Akustikgitarre herausragend. Seine Band ist ebenfalls erstklassig. Viele Mitglieder, wie Chris Stainton, Nathan East, Doyle Bramhall oder Katie Kissoon begleiten ihn schon seit vielen Jahren. Es war ein super Konzert und ich würde jederzeit wieder gerne ein Konzert von Eric Clapton besuchen !!!

We had the privilege of attending an exceptional concert at the legendary Royal Albert Hall that transcended mere musical performance. Gregory Porter delivered a performance of remarkable emotional power. From the opening notes, a gentle energy enveloped the atmosphere, creating an enchanted interlude for the audience. Gregory Porter performed his greatest hits and punctuated the evening with Christmas tunes that added a special dimension to the concert. Amazing! The Royal Albert Hall is a great venue, Ed was GREAT (as always, I’ve been to many of his concerts) and all in all a great night. Can’t say Bess Attwell inspired me much and wasn’t sure they were the best opening act he could have chosen (didn’t really get the crowd going, very singer-songwriter). I went in not knowing it would be the last time the album was played in full (that weekend was the only time, the Saturday and then this concert) but being there for that felt really special. So happy he played some other songs too and got us on our feet, I was exhausted by the end, exhausted but so so happy. Well done Ed. For a first solo show at the Royal Albert Hall, you should be very proud indeed

I’ve seen Echo and the Bunnymen more times than I can count , always brilliant - but this one was special ! I’ve never watched a show in the Albert Hall before and it was epic ! The whole band were on top form and the acoustics in that place are just incredible , seeing the band with the Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra was amazing , I actually cried . Amazing to see Ocean Rain but the other set with all the faves was immense ! I couldn’t stay in my seat for Never Stop ( apologies to the people behind me) but you just have to lay down thy raincoat and groove to that one 🤷🏻‍♀️ What a night ! I don’t usually buy VIP tickets because we can’t really justify the expense , but I’d have sold my soul to the devil to see that show , it was money very well spent ! I didn’t think anything would top hearing The Killing Moon whilst being able to see the actual moon at Anfield last year when they supported the Rolling Stones — The Bunnymen continue to amaze me at every show I see , I’m not adding photos because I was so mesmerised my phone didn’t come out of my bag 😀 and that my friends , it the measure of an amazing show !

It was the night before my birthday and 40 years since I'd first seen the Bunnymen at The Royal Albert Hall. As a 12 year old insane.and danced all night, last night I sang a d sat down a lot. They were brilliant, sublime!, the best they've sounded for a long time. Ian was on good form, Will wore a tie for the Ocean Rain set, a packed Albert Hall lapped.it up. No flashy light show, minimal backdrops, just a band, one of the finest the musical world has witnessed. The first set was just.perfect, a combination of early classics and newer songs. Ocean Rain was majestic, it sounded far superior to the last orchestra tour, it was flawless, I was surrounded by happy smiling faces, old and young fans United in appreciation. The final three set encore was the perfect send off, The Cutter, my favourite song since it was released rounded my night off perfectly. Happy Birthday me and thank you Echo And The Bunnymen, and the Royal Albert Hall.

Dermot Kennedy was EXTRAORDINARY! Communion Music and Sounds of Solidarity, Turkey and Syria Fundraiser at the Royal Albert Hall benefit performance on April 15, 2023 was no exception. First, he sang For Island Fires and Family a cappella. Each of the 5,000+ in attendance were silent, perhaps frozen by the beautiful sounds. I held my breath for what seemed like the entire 5 minutes and 92 seconds of that melodic love poem to the Aran Islands of Ireland. He continued the performance with a song he rarely performs; A Killer Was A Coward. This song is a die hard Dermot Kennedy fan favorite. Needless to say, the devoted fans, as well as, the brand new fans in this historical venue realized quite quickly the magnitude of this moment. Each audience member seemed to met this moment with silent respect and reverence. Next, he sang his autobiographical An Evening I will Not Forget. This song is what I would consider an introduction to Dermot Kennedy himself. In other words, you must know this preface song to truly understand the rest of the artist’s story. The way he presented this song was outstanding especially considering how many times he has performed it. The song was as if it was brand new. I felt every word and I felt every emotion. He designed the next song, Dreamer around his love for someone very special. Prior to the song, he stated that it is the little things in life and in love that matter, not necessarily the grand gestures, but instead just ‘showing up' for the one you love that truly makes a difference. The poignant song was delivered with authority and a simple beauty that can only be described as a tender love letter to the listener. The final performance of the 5 song set was the emotional ballad Innocence and Sadness. The song reflects on the loss of youthful innocence and wonder when age and responsibility mysteriously take over. Dermot provided this piece of art to the listeners at an emotional expense to himself. It was clear through his body language and micro expressions that this piece of music and poetry is privately important to his own soul and yet the yearning to share that importance with the audience was extremely profound. I have been a fan of Dermot Kennedy for years and seen countless soul moving performances- but this one poignant night provided me with an unmatched experience that will live on in my memory as one of the best nights of music ever. Possibly the best gig I have ever been to. SoH are always good, but this was on another level, bringing a bunch of guests in, such as Johnny Khalsi and Track Dogs (plus a tap dancer. Yep) Everyone played off brilliantly, and it’s hard to find a high point, but Cormac Byrnes manic grin, and epic wordless bhodran playing is an image that imprinted on my mind. This is the seventh and last Kensington Village Hall concert, and I am glad I managed to catch at least one.

Slow start, can't say Slow Pulp did much for me. Also DCFC didn't get going for several songs. Black Sun got things going for me, still seems a pretty optional subject for Ben Gibbard. The highlight for me was a solo acoustic rendering of the emotional "I will Follow you" from Plans... breathtaking. That song alone was worth the ticket price. Finished strongly with plenty more classic tracks. The only flaw, and this is just personal, but Ben's jiggling about on stage out of time with the music detracted at times for me - much more powerful when he stood still and let the music do the job as in his acoustic set .

They didn’t come on stage until after 10pm, which seemed quite late given the advertised start time of 7:30pm (or 6:45pm when we bought the tickets). Would have been helpful for those of us travelling into London if more info had been shared in advance about the schedule. We enjoyed the support act Honey Glaze, we actually preferred them to Wet Leg in the end. I didn’t enjoy the other support act, CMAT… (but bafflingly lots of the crowd seemed to enjoy her show).

Had a good evening at this ONO show at the Royal Albert Hall. After being a fan of 5SOS for over ten years, getting to see them play this iconic venue in a new way, performing with a live orchestra and choir which they have never done before was a unique and fun experience. I couldn’t believe how close my seats were, within six feet of the stage and the constant interactions from guitarist, Michael Clifford made my night. The only disappointment was that we were promised a two hour show and it only lasted around an hour. Also, there was no encore as there usually is at every 5SOS show so this was a great disappointment for a lot of people that attended. I also found the instruments from the band themselves were a little overpowering on the night which made it difficult to actually hear the instruments of the orchestra on the night which is my reason for my 3* rating of this particular show.

What a brilliant evening. A wonderful interview, I could have sat and listened to Nick and Graham chatting all night. Then we spent 45 minutes listening to Pelican West, it sounded like it had just been recorded the day before and not actually 40 years ago! It never ages just like Nick and Graham. What a lovely surprise to have them both play Fantastic Day and Love Plus One. A short question time with the audience too. A splendid evening. Thank you 🥰

So lucky to have seen 5sos on their release show for the new album 5SOS5 (which is AMAZING and you should all listen to it!!). Everything about the show was absolutely perfect, the only thing I would like was for it to have been never ending haha! The atmosphere with all the fans was so amazing, the boys interactions with the crowd was so heartwarming and we really could see how grateful they are, they deserve all the praise they get because wow, they really can put a show on! 5sos are worth every penny live <3 33

Absolutely the greatest concert ever! Loved every minute of our night with The Beach Boys at The Royal Albert Hall in London!! Fabulous build-up purchasing some merchandise and mingling with the hundreds of fans enjoying their refreshments prior to the brilliant start of the show! From start to finish we were all swept away with the music and vocals performed all night long by Mike Love and his Beach Boys Band. Fantastic memories of 60 years growing up with and listening to The Beach Boys!!

My first time going to a Keane Concert at the Royal Albert Hall. What a dream come true to see my all time fav group and to finally hear them perform 1) Nothing In My way, 2) A Bad Dream , 3) She Has No Time , 4) Everybody Changing , 5) Bedshaped , 6) Disconnected , 7) Silenced By The Night , 8) Is It Any Wonder ? And Somewhere Only We Know and some of their new songs from their new album !!! Best alternative rock concert that I have been and I can’t wait to see them again !!! Thanks for coming to England !!!
