It was cool, the openers were really good and let me explore more music, the workers at the venue were extremely nice and friendly, and the band was electrifying. I met Archie after the show—literally one of the kindest souls ever.
this time once they came back our towards the midwest, I started following their tour stops just so I could keep watching them play. they had become my favorite band at this point. gods THEY ARE JUST SO AWESOME!
Amazing. The venue itself was a venue I’ve been meaning to go to for a long time and was so cool. The crowd work was immaculate as well and they’re just as amazing live as they are on Spotify
This show was amazing! All four bands did not disappoint! From Marina Atlanic, Alyeska and Jager Henry; each made you feel like you were there to see them as headliners.
They all had great sound and set list. Letdown brought some great music along with for us to enjoy! Each one complimenting the style of Letdown. And now for the main act, Letdown. Blake and Dom hammered that show down! The song choices were awesome! The crowd even got to hear new songs: Imposter Syndrome, Me Myself & I, Evidence and of course the tour headline "Be Okay" but with a twist as Blake and Dom grab acoustic guitars and sing the song softly. Of course the classics were a must. Some of my personal favorites: Crying In The Shower, Shipwreck & Karma. Needless to say, you won't be disappointed if your a Letdown fan as this tour continues. And grab the VIP too! You'll get some one on one time with Blake, a lanyard, special T shirt and a signed poster.
Hands down best show I had been to up to that point. My car got broken into and I drove back home 2 hours in the cold and snow and it was still worth being able to see Cory and the Dangerous Summer that night! Great venue as well.
When I tell you it was an amazing show that’s an understatement! I’ve been following the music careers or Mercedes and Phoenix since early Courage My Love days and it SO cool to see how they’ve evolved over the years to this amazing band SOFTCULT! I cried during just about every single song it’s always a great show! 🥹🥹🥹👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Palaye Royale rocked the house! Small intimate venue. The boys gave us all plenty of time and attention during the meet & greet. The show itself was amazing. Remington, the lead singer came out into the crowd on numerous occasions and had the place jumping off, bouncing and singing along with every song. He even crowd surfed and was swinging from the rafters.
Completely unexpected to see a band this popular at such a small venue. It was electric. The venue handled it well as far as the employees and security being helpful and friendly. My only complaint would be how hot it was inside the venue and I've been there twice before for sold out shows and this was never an issue in the past so I'm not sure what the problem was that night. Remington even mentioned how it was the first time he ever played a show in a sauna and how he couldn't stop sweating. He even had to step outside numerous times between songs to cool down.
Regardless, this was still the best show I've ever been to at this venue. They also have free water at the bar for anyone who needs it. I recorded the entire show from up front and uploaded it on YouTube if anyone would like to see or re-live that night. I highly recommend seeing Palaye Royale live if you haven't and if you're in the Chicago area, I also recommend checking out the Cobra Lounge where you can see a reasonably priced show in a small intimate setting.
IT WAS AMAZING!!!!!!!
I could not stop talking about it to my friends and honestly I still am. I had been a fan for a long time and knew all the songs and had SO much fun. Bryan also came down stage right in front of me and I was SO HAPPY.
Venue was great and GWP was great!! The openers absolutely killed it and every performer really kept the audience engaged and included. Love that Emmyn was super down to earth (and is still advertising his brother) and performed one last song outside the venue after the show was over<33 would love to see this band again ❤️
Despite doors opening 30 mins later than announced, Zheani and Patrixia put on a hell of a show. Patrixia was such a perfect fit for an opening act at a Zheani gig <3 Some of the audience was a little carried away/obnoxious at times but Zheani was so lovely and tolerant of all of us lol. Unfortunately she was feeling a bit under the weather so there was no meet and greet for Chicago but I’m still amazed at Zheani for putting on such a passionate performance despite being a lil sick. One of the best shows I’ve been to <3
IT WAS MY FIRST TIME BACK HERE IN A LONG TIME, FOOD WAS GREAT, AWESOME BARTENDERS. I OWN MY OWN BAR AND IM A CHEF, SO I CAN APPRECIATE GOOD STUFF!!! I WAS STAYING IN THE CITY TO SEE BROKEN VIEW. THE BAND WAS INCREDIBLE!! THE WAY THEY ENGAGED WITH THE FANS AND TOOK TIME WAS HUGE. THE EXPERIENCE WAS SO FUN I DIDNT WANT THE NIGHT TO END AND IM A HELL OF ALOT OLDER THAN MOST OF THE PATRONS!! GREAT SPOT, FUN BARTENDERS, AND WHAT A COOL VIBE!
My husband and I have traveled many times to see Fame on Fire. They are our favorite date nights. Always put on an amazing show, we do the meet and greet. I recommend everyone does. They are so down to earth, and its an experience each time to learn a little more about each of them.
Donovan Melero’s performance was great as usual! This was a very intimate performance that included band mates from Hail the Sun and introduced new musicians he brought along with him this tour. Donovan and his band were very interactive with the audience and made sure everyone had a good time - I will definitely continue to support them through their musical careers.
Jer is such a kickass performer, one of the best shows ive seen all year. Ska is alive and growing thanks to young people dragging the genre kicking and screaming into the new generation. Absolutely will see again every time they come thru Chicago
Chase Petra was so amazing to see live! We got to meet Hunter before the set and got merch from them afterwards. Super friendly and fun to watch, hope I will be able to see them again :)
They were great performers but i couldn't help but feel like they're missing out on being great by playing to a track when other musicians on stage during a live show add so much to the experience. I enjoyed it, but i won't see Loveless again live.
This show was amazing. I didn't really know to much about them before. I just wanted to support a band that fought the government because of the name of their band. After the first song, I knew I was a fan for life
This band glides in and out of different sounds and tempos with the skill of an Olympic slalom skier. Their show at Cobra Lounge showcased their song-writing skills and musicianship, delighting the both the rockers as well as those who prefer more ethreal music. A larger stage would probably allow them to entertain more visually, but the music is more than enough to keep the crowd engaged.
One of the openers, New Canyons, absolutely blew me away. They sounded like a cross of Joy Division and The Cure with a dash or Christian Death and Depeche Mode. Those guys, New Canyons, are HOT and I will defiantly be following them from now on.
