The music and stage show were 5 out of 5 stars. Impeccable musicianship and showmanship. The crowd on the other hand was full of “chompers”! So many people talking. I don’t know about you, but if I wanted to listen to music and talk over it, I would save $60+ dollars on a ticket and stay at home and invite friends over. It made it harder to enjoy the fantastic music and performance happening. I hope to catch Khruangbin again, however with less talking in the crowd.
This was the PERFECT venue for the bois! No matter where you were, you had an amazing view of the stage and the laser show. Luckily, we drove several hours without traffic, bad weather or parking issues. In fact, we were able to park fairly close. It was my first time at this venue AND seeing Sleep Token. I hope if/when they come back to the SE that they play here again. Definitely a great place for a concert!
Absolutely best show I have ever been to. Everything was so beautiful, energy felt amazing, cried multiple times. So glad I got to see them. Drove from Atlanta to Asheville since the ATL show sold out before I could get a ticket. Definitely worth every penny and every second of driving. Cannot wait to see them again!
Concert was amazing! It’s the second one I’ve been to of casting crowns and I really liked how they gave a history of how the band was formed. Only reason I gave it a 4.5 star rating was because of how they set up the stage. They used black curtains all around the stage to frame it and from the seats we had on the second level off to the side of the stage it blocked some of our view of the stage. We couldn’t see the orchestra and we also couldn’t see the screen they had set up behind the performers on stage. You could still see the main singers though so it doesn’t ruin that but I think they should have let you know there would’ve been an obstructed view of the stage.other than that it was great and Mark and some of the band even stayed after the show to take pictures with people which I thought was so nice!
They were fantastic! Seeing them again soon My big complaint was the staff! I had VIP. Was to be there at a certain time. No one knew where each band's VIP was to go ,so we stood in the rain while they figured it out . I know they are volunteering but someone needed to do a complete walkthrough the day before or that morning.
Could have been a better organization ..and being a vip they should have had smaller groups instead of one big group... personnel were okay being volunteers they did what they had to do...sound was great music was great ..too much smoke and lights killed the mood .main set was like a breeze..too short for what we spent to see them...VIP package could have had better stuff... especially for what we paid for tickets...at least a signed something...poster or even a t shirt...but overall a 3.7..rounded to a 4 :)
All 3 bands kicked ass. All 3 bands sound amazing live. Was really impressed with Lorna Shore. They are definitely worth getting to the show early. They will not disappoint. And Mastodon's stage show is something to see. Very trippy stuff. And probably one of the best live sounding bands there is. And Gojira what can I say. They are simply amazing. They never disappoint. Go check this tour out and keep on supporting METAL 🤘🤘🤘
Mastodon was om fire from beginning to end. The setlist relied heavily on older material and was pute bliss for hard-core fans like nyself. I love everything they do but the old stuff holds a special place in my heart. The visuals were unmatched by todays standards. All hail the mighty Mastodon!!!! Openers Lorna Shore was amazing and heavier than a 747 plane and co headliner Gojira was equally amazing. Best ticket I've se3n since the 90's.
Orville Peck was great … the crowd just ate him up.
“But” this venue was atrocious … I had read reviews that indicated this venue was past its prime and that is so true. The seating was in disrepair, the bathrooms were small and crowded and hot… and the sound was miserable. Asheville should be ashamed with this. Tear it down and start over.
The most spectacular and rewarding show I've seen in years. Orville Peck engaged with the audience shedding warmth, trust and love all around. the music was even better live than on record, and he is a true star. Surprises galore, too!
Unquestionably one of the best musical shows in the business. Even if you are not a blues fan, you will come away certain that you have just watched some of the best musicians on the planet. If you haven't seen them, please treat yourself to a fabulous evening of entertainment.
Any stellar show from TTB, as expected. The whole band was very tight. Derek and Susan obviously really respect their band members. Derek's solos went right to my soul, as always. Susan't voice was powerful and her phrasing was fantastic. I have heard her play leads before, but there was one lead in particular (and I cannot for the life of me remember during which number this was), which was most definitely the best solo that I have ever heard her take. What a great night!
Parking and getting into the venue was ridiculous. They needed more than 4 metal detectors and security lanes for the amount of people. We waited outside in the rain almost 2 hours to get in. Missed opening act and half of second act because of it. Koe Wetzel was amazing as he always is 5 out of 5 stars for him. Just the venue needs to do better.
It was my first Christian concert, and was certainly one of the best concerts in recent memory. All three of the groups were incredible. No gimmicks, just wonderful music with a message of hope and salvation. Cain, Anne Wilson, and Casting Crowns were worth the price of admission individually, but together, Wow! If they are performing in your area, make sure to attend. Great night, everyone is incredibly talented.
Marc is delightful! Loop Daddy rocked so hard that paint was literally chipping off the walls. This man has perfected his craft with amazing stage presence and crowd interaction. And the best part is the entire show is improvised so everything is fresh and organic. See Marc if you have the chance. You will not be disappointed. You will be turned on.
Leann never lets me down. She made me laugh thru the whole show . The seats were comfy. The drinks very expensive. But that’s ok. The rest of the procedure of getting in and finding everything we needed went smoothly. The folks works there were very pleasant.
The show was AWESOME. They are ALL so talented. There was a young lady in a wheelchair and both Luke and Joel stopped and acknowledged her. Then at the end of show the extremely talent band member came off the stage and gave her his drum sticks. Just incredible to see their thoughtfulness
Tyler Childers isn’t really opening up for Sturgill... It’s more like a double feature...
Tyler is Quentin’s “Death Proof” & then Sturgill comes out like a zombie in Robert Rodriguez’s “Plant Terror”. A DOUBLE FEATURE THAT YOU DO NOT WANT TO MISS!
Chloe is always a wonderful performer on stage! Boy can the girl sing! She seemed so genuinely happy to be back on stage as a member of Celtic Woman for this tour! Loved all the song choices for Chloe as well as the other members. Very nostalgic to have her back for a few months. Can’t wait to see her perform again, whether it’s as a CW member or solo. I will always recommend to see her live whenever you get the chance!
Travis Tritt was great but some of the people at the venue were very rude and inconsiderate of others. They would stand up and not sit back down and when we decided to go stand in front of them we were the ones told to sit down. I paid for our tickets just like anyone else did.
