Excellent show! My 2nd Starset demonstration this year. My kids introduced me to the band & we attended in May. I was so impressed I've been basically obsessed since (and I do not normally listen to metal of any kind). I suggested we go again. It did not disappoint! Great visuals, great sound! My favorite bit though, as an older-in-age fan, the gas masks for TokSik - the Doctor Who fan in me was waiting for "Are you my mummy?" (See DW S1 E9 The Empty Child). I also appreciate they played that & Degenerate, despite the drama over the AI video (Dengenerate - people, read the 1st comment on that YouTube post). I would definitely see then again!
Josiah put on an amazing show. Most of the songs on his album are just him and his guitar. When you put an entire band behind him, the songs went to a whole new level. Josiah is also a great performer while sharing the stories behind his songs. My only complaint is that he was finished in only 30 minutes but that is to be expected with only one album. I’m looking forward to him making more content and having his own headlining tour!
BEST CONCERT EVERRRR!!! I WAS RIGHT AT THE FRONT AND IT WAS SO MUCH FUN!! I LOVED THE SPECIAL THINGS THEY DID AT THE END AND I LOVED THE GUESTS THEY BROUGHT UP! THEY PLAYED MY FAVORITE SONGS AND I EVEN SHOOK HANDS WITH THE MC BAT COMMANDER! I GOT A T SHIRT AND GUITAR PICS FROM THE MERCH BOOTH AND IM GOING TO MAKE EARRINGS OUT OF THE GUITAR PICS! I LOVE THE AQUABATSSSSSS!!! MY WHOLE FAMILY LOVED IT!! YEAAAAAAAAAA!!! I ALSO LOVED RICKY FITNESSES RAP IT WAS SO GOOD
This was my first “blues” show. I usually gravitate towards heavier rock shows. But since I didn’t have to work I thought I’d go and check it out. I was pleasantly surprised. Kingfish put on an excellent show and even walked amongst the crowd playing a guitar solo. The opening act was a 21 year old by the name of Mathias Lattin. He also put on a nice show and got the crown riled up for Kingfish. All in all, I enjoyed the show.
These guys were AWESOME! First time seeing them play live. The lead singer’s voice is amazing, dude has an intense & impressive stage presence. Fear Factory & the 2 bands playing before had several pretty good songs too.
Had a balcony/reserved seat & it was cool watching the band-crowd interaction. I’m kinda a smaller female & nearly all metal concerts I end up with some super tall dude in front of me so I often only see the back of stage & props. But if they come back to play the Filmore (or a venue like it) I’m definitely aiming for a spot at the rail.
This was the the first time at the venue and it seemed pretty good. Being of an older generation, I would have preferred softer floor but I wore my best supporting shoes so it wasn't too bad. When I was younger, it wouldn't have bothered me. The staff at the venue were friendly but firm so it was a great experience. The food was great, the bartender was awesome even when the food was having issues coming out.
The band Aqua is and has always been amazing. They are so friendly, funny, and genuine. It was one of the best shows I can say I've been to in my life. I hope they return and tour in the United States again! They have a beautiful fan base. I went alone to the concert but met so many wonderful people because of Aqua and I hope the love of Aqua unites even more people.
The concert was awesome, loved meeting the band and getting pictures with them. Me ,my father, and older brother had to leave early during Sevendust set because it got really crazy with people crowdsurfing. I came out unharmed and the staff was amazing with that. Other than it being so crazy it was fun. Would recommend getting seats if it’s a small venue like this one and don’t want to be in the pit. Met some lovely people there and overall was a great night
Flogging Molly is always great.
I had not been to the Fillmore in a few years, and everything but the FOOD was as expected. The staff is always VERY friendly.
The menu sounded good, but when our food arrived after 30 minutes of waiting we were so disappointed! I ordered the chicken parm sliders, the bun was a regular-size slider bun, the chicken was 1/3 of the bun it was seriously a chicken nugget, and there was a spritz of sauce and maybe 2 shreds of cheese. The taste wasn't that bad, which made it that much more sad I had just spent $16 on them. 2 of us got the tachos, and they were a total mess! the tatertors were practically disintegrated and could barely be eaten with a fork. They ended up throwing them away they were so awful.
I know the venue isn't a restaurant, but for the prices they could at least serve edible food.
“JESUS,” was definitely in the ROOM!!!🙌🏼🙌🏼Everyone, all together, on one accord!!!! Just as “HE” always planned it. 🙌🏼 AMAZING time!! Last minute details, on a Monday eve/night!!!!! Fully packed house!!!!🙌🏼. NOONE was in a rush!! All praise, honor & glory, to “GOD,” for choosing Maverick City, Chandler Moore, Naomi Rein & all anointed & appointed, for such a time, as this!!!! Thank y’all for truly answering the call!! All for the glory of “GOD!!” All in for the 2 day revival!!🙏🏼🙌🏼❤️ Peace, & blessings!! Still got my HALLELUJAH!!!!🙏🏼🙌🏼❤️
Incredible show at a completely packed venue. Luckily I snagged balcony seats bc I feel old ha. Anyhow, Bebe put on a stellar performance despite her recent incident in NYC. She went thru her set like a champion after sharing her feelings with the crowd. I hope to catch her live again some day. It was the perfect set list and prices were really great considering the caliber of the show and the artist’s talent level. Soooo many hits. The crowd went crazy the whole time. Zolita was a great opener, too!
The RIVAL SONS NEVER disappoint. They are amazing and I would always return to see them perform. They represent complete SWAG in a band. Jay Buchanan has a breathtaking voice, Scott outshines every current guitarist, Michael is magnificent on drums and Dave is badass on bass. NO BANDS COMPARE TO THE RIVAL SONS!!! NONE.
Starcrawler leaves a lot to be desired. I was disappointed in the singer and her attitude about Silver Springs and also towards people there. She was pretty disgusting and everyone around me thought the same thing. Would never return to see them at all. The band played well but she sucked beyond belief.
The Record Company was Fabulous too. I would return to see them again as well. They know how to play some awesome music. Loved them.
As for the venue... The bartenders seemed miserable. The guy who went through my 6" x 4" purse was nice but I did not think he needed to dig through my tiny purse like he did. I mean if there was a weapon or drugs he would have seen them right away... not move my money and keys out to see what else was in there. Geez... small wallet with a strap and acted as if I was carrying a napsack. He was at least pleasant ripping my purse all apart.
Jessica and Carla were very pleasant. I enjoyed conversing with them. If anything put them in charge of some other things too. I mean a happy face is much better than the disgruntled barkeeps back there.
One last tidbit... I paid decent money for the Meet and greet. It was like an assembly line. went through and got two things signed but did not get a word in edge wise... then went back around to get a photo... it was ridiculous to not have a minute to even say my name or give a comment about how much the Rival Sons mean to me. I paid $145 for a ticket and meet and greet and do not even feel like I met the band. So disappointed in that aspect of the night.
Way too crowded (to the point that the doors to the lobby had to be left open because people were standing there), and a lot of sound issues (feedback, mic being off for half a song). I ended up watching the show on a tv screen behind the bar because that’s all I could see from where I could get to in the room. I could’ve done that at home. Not the bands fault though at all, they were great. The Fillmore dropped the ball on this one.
Mae was fantastic last night! I've seen them eight times now and this is one of the better for sure. The sound was on point and very full and the stage presence was strong. The song choices were a good mix that covered some hits and tracks spread across their albums. I was surprised to see an additional guitarist with them this time. Dave brought his 3 year old daughter onstage and in one of the more adorable and heart warming moments I have seen in a show.
My only complaint about the show last night is that they weren't the headliners and so they didn't get to play as many songs. Nothing against the starting line, but Mae stole the show!
THANK YOU to Dave and crew for an amazing night! Looking forward to seeing them for the 9th time next time they are in the area.
The crowd was pretty rude to each other and the venue felt to small for the crowd size but the show itself was incredible. Pierce the Veil themselves were phenomenal as were the other bands. Despite stating the show started at 7 the first band Yours Truly finished up their last before it even hit 7 and the entire crowd didn't even get in until 7:30 or so. Honestly feels like they oversold the show but other than those hiccups absolutely amazing show.
This show was awesome! I got to see the entire opening act Set It Off and they absolutely killed it! I went with my Mom and my little brother Jayce and after the opening act, me and Jayce got to get a picture with Set It Off and we got to see all of Simple Plan there as well! It was a shame that Sum 41 couldn’t be there due to one of their band member getting COVID-19 but it was still a fun show and there’s always next time to see Sum 41 live.
Collective Soul was amazing. Glad they were playing so close by. The concert venue had literally no air circulation (hence the minus half star), but it was classy of them at the Fillmore to hand out free water bottles. It felt like Switchfoot and opening acts went longer than usual opening acts, and while it was cool, just after a while I’m thinking being on Collective Soul!
Set list included some of my favorite songs: Gel, Where the River Flows, Heavy, Shine, Run, December, World I Know, and some stuff off their new album. I wish they would perform Why Pt. 2 in concert sometime, but knew that would be a stretch. They were awesome live, much better than any studio track. Also had a live performance of Happy Birthday (Ed Roland’s birthday) that’s what happens when you have a birthday on tour haha!
My first concert, my favorite band. Every expectation I EVER had was met, and more. Venue was great, People were considerate, and most of all the music was AMAYZING. They played all my favorites, all the songs that go me through hard times, and I even got to see another band I loved, (no love for the middle child) as an opener, and meeting Andrew was so great, he was beyond kind and approachable. Stand Atlantic was great as well, they interacted with fans a lot, and WOW were their fans enthusiastic. All in all, Loved the concert, and love you guys. <3 Thanks
Honestly Nina Nesbitt was so awesome. I kinda wish she had more time to perform. I’m not sure if there were technical issues or something but it took an hour after she was done for James to start performing maybe that’s normal. I would have loved for him to sing more songs from It Will All Make Sense in the End but I guess it was a decent mix of his most recent albums. So bummed he didn’t sing Nothing in the Way of Us or Take It or Leave it. He truly did his hits and a few extras from album. Slightly underwhelming but still a fun time. Love that the second to last song is Lasting Lover which I was totally not expecting. Everyone got one good last jump in. My sis said it was a 7 out of 10 and I agree. First concert since 2019 and it was worth it

It was my FIRST time seeing Skillet and Ledger too!! And I LOVE ALL 3 BANDS!! I CANNOT WAIT FOR THE NEW ALBUM to DROP, whenever that can be!! 😀👍🏻
My friend and I had an AMAZING TIME!!! AWESOME CONCERT!! And it was EXACTLY 2 months before my BIRTHDAY and my gift to MYSELF!!! Thanks for Coming/TOURING and performing that Night and making ALL THE FANS in the DMV area HAPPY, even before the whole CRAZY COVID-19 PANDEMIC started around the Country/World. It was DEFINITELY my last concert for MONTHS because of IT and I’m GLAD that it still went on and that I was able to go and ENJOY MYSELF, before things/venues/Concerts SHUT DOWN.....
😀😀❤️❤️👍🏻😍👍🏻
