The Anvil

It's been an ambition to finally see Lucinda live. First visit to the Anvil and I think it's a great space. Lucinda is a trooper and delivered a 2+ hours set. I've witnessed something special.

They were so funny and entertaining. The harmonies were perfect and you sang our favourite, Cornwall my Home. Can't wait to see you again. Simon & Kate

What a great show, Elkie got better and better as the evening went on and such a talented support band. Loved it and will hopefully see her again.

Absolutely astonishing performance. Her voice is as good as ever and perhaps much richer. Guitarist Philip Sayce was superb and as he is back in Basingstoke next year will definitely go and see him. The rendition of Knights in White Satin was something to behold. Great mix of songs as well.

Elkie was absolutely amazing and it was a great venue, the sound and also the atmosphere was brilliant.

What an amazing and fabulous intimate gig. Lovely venue and Alyssa was simply breathtaking as usual. Playing songs on her first instrument, the piano, is always a delight to see, including her great new song, Old Piano🤩

Really enjoyable evening. Probably the best solo concert by Justin. Accompanied by the brilliant Mike Dawes, Julie Ragins & Karmen Gould it’s the next best thing to The Moody Blues. Justin just gets better with age. Good to hear some different songs like Out & In which I can’t ever recall hearing in concert before … Loved it!

A great night out. Venue as always were friendly and welcoming and flexible about seating. UOOGB were great as always, and especially got got things moving at the end. They even persuaded me to buy a tea-towel! It was a thrill when George came to sit near us for part for the evening. 5 out of 5.

I've wanted yo see Paul for over 20 years, and honestly he didn't let me down... What a voice, what a musician! Supported by a really good selection of musicians in his band.
