The performance felt very uninspired. It felt as if they were going through the motions. Per the band, this was the second stop on their tour. The band may have been disappointed by the very small crowd; I would estimate it at 100 people. The band that took the stage prior, Mod Sun, brought the energy. It seemed that after Mod Sun's performance concluded, half to two-thirds of the audience left. Superfly, my personal favorite, did not make the setlist. Regarding the venue, Ace of Spades, it is intimate. The speakers were near ear bleeding levels, vocals seemed to be recessed and the stage lighting wasn't the greatest. This could have been a choice by lovelytheband (lighting) as we were basically watching silhouettes of the band.
The opening act was Kelsey Waldon and she was incredible!
This show was the day after Leaving This Holler came out. Besides Hillbilly Daydream they played all my favorites. It was the fastest paced show I've ever seen. No more than 20 seconds between songs. 19 songs in total including an encore. The band was fun to watch, especially as they get to the stage of their career where they can headline shows from coast to coast.
I just took a point off because it was a little too loud and the guy in charge of the stage lights seemed to be having some trouble. I'd love to see them in a larger venue sometime.
Would've been a 5 star show but sound guy must've been deaf as it was so loud most people had to go get ear plugs. The band put on a hell of a show and by far one of our favorite shows of recent date. Between them Silverada and the steel woods as the best bands out there right now. Just a bummer that our ear are in legitimate pain from the first 3 or 4 songs we suffered through before asking for ear plugs. On a positive note at least the venue had ear plugs we almost left it was that loud and painful.
I had never heard of Good Boy Daisy until I saw them at this concert. They put on a great show. I love their sound, catchy lyrics and energy on stage. I’ve got them playing on repeat now, ive been telling everybody at work about them. I look forward to hearing new releases. I hope to see them in concert again next time they’re in the NorCal 🤘
I can always count on getting the best entertaining performance from The Struts. I introduced two friends to the band this time around. They loved the show. Opening band Hot for Crime left a lot to be desired. Mac Saturn had a 70s vibe.
I used to love Ace of Spades, but not so much anymore. They've gotten rid of the upper level and seem to still be selling the same amount of tickets. It was way overcrowded. My friend was overcome due to the heat (it's December and not hot outside) and lack of airflow.
I'll definitely see The Struts again. Hope Ace of Spades improves conditions for us concert goers.

FUCKING AWESOME!!!! I’m from Michigan n seen then in Sac town Cali. I need this show!! I have so much hate in side after my daughter passed away. After the show I cried so hard! Lol. Idk why. The singer, voice is sic af!! WOW.
I have one question, where are these guys from? I heard 3 different places. Michigan, NC & LA. I love Spite. HornsUp mf’s🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻.
The White Buffalo was awesome as always. Venue needs better security. They allow too many people and then don't let you stand in the only available standing areas. As a result you need to push into the crowd which angers the people in front of you....a losing proposition. The egress point from the bar in the back left corner gets so clogged up that you need to push people out of the way to get down the ramp to the restrooms. Come on Ace.
I LOVED THE CONCERT SO SO MUCH THIS IS MY SECOND TIME SEEING DB 100000000000/10 THE ONLY THING WAS THE MOSH PIT AND ME AND MY SISTER WERE ALONE THE ENTIRE TIME SINCE MY DAD COULDNT GET BACK WITH US AND WE WERE SHOVED AND PUSHED RLLY HARD AND A CROWD SURFER NEARLY CRUSHED ME BUT I UNDERSTAND HOW DB CONCERTS GET 100% NORMAL SO OVERALL 10000000000/10
I am a 67 year old Rocking great grandmother. I have been a fan & loved Dorothy since 2017. My husband turned me onto her music & I turned my rocker daughter & son-in-law onto her. This was our 2nd time seeing Dorothy at Ace of Spades. We had the VIP Pkg, Rode the Rail for the entire Concert. Opening bands were fun, once Dorothy took the stage WOW! The most fun I have had at a concert in a long time and I have been going to Rock Concerts & music festivals since I was 15 (Jethro Tull). Rock On Dorothy!
Arrived at the show with my wife… we where parked in the parking garage about to get out to go see the show and got the text that was lost Taylor Hawkins. We didn’t leave parking lot for an hour as we bawled our eyes out. Was just too sad to try and go to the show :( I hope she comes back! We love Elle King ❤️
it was AMAZING. his adhd was showing big time which was cute. this was my first time seeing dom and it was surreal. literally so glad I stayed alive to have witnessed life on mars. wish I could've stayed to have met him after and thank him for everything he's done. seeing him live is worth it and I would 100% see him again. there were people who didn't exactly fit the alternative punk rock scene who were there enjoying his show. people of all ages ranging from 4 through ppl lookomh in their 50s and 40s enjoying his show. that's how you know someone is good. dom gave his full attention to everyone and made it a night I will never forget. (got some good pics btw)🖤
It was a great concert . I was only about maybe the 12th person in line for GA and I had gotten to the venue to get in line 6
hours Before the show to secure a really good spot on the floor/pit and as time went on VIP Member’s started getting there and I was completely blown away of the amount of people in VIP! Next time around maybe 70 to 90i in VIP would be reasonable but definitely not over 200 like there was at this last show. It really totally sucked getting there so early and only being like the 12th person in line in GA so after everybody that went in that were VIP then came the fast Lane ticket members which is fine there was only about I’d say 60 people or less with those tickets then GA got to go in finally into the venue it was packed in With probably already 300 -400 people and the floor space that was left was pretty terrible not much room viewing was terrible and hard to see because your view was obstructed by all the cell phones being held up in the air but that’s no fault of Anyone putting on the show other than people learning to have some etiquette and some manners when going to a show. I really appreciated the tour Member‘s going out side because it was about 91° in the sun Went out and started handing bottled waters and then passed around a box of frozen otter pops.
Jauz is absolutely insane. If you have the chance to see him it’s definitely worth the money. Coming from a local dj and producer I can assure you that his songs and remixes make you feel something. His stage crew and lighting director did an amazing job. It was by far the best sound, lighting, and fx combo I have ever seen crammed into ace of spades. I can’t wait to see him again. #sharksquad
Fabulous!!!
All 3 bands rocked the house. The Soft White Sixties were great, The Sheepdogs were absolutely amazing! And Rival Sons....well, they freaking rock my world. Love them!! Cool, friendly staff at Ace of Spades. Only complaint was the sound was overdriven for Rival Sons. Never should hear that at a concert. Couldn't understand some of the lyrics it was so overdriven towards the end. But overall, had a memorable and outstanding evening!!
The Music arrangements were real cool. Slowed down and jazzy. Allen and his band were so on point . Black Sourdo🤙🏽💥 the only negative 👎🏽 was How Sacramento-ans often act like they have no sense. Allen actually caked out some behavior via Sonh - that was much appreciated . Please let’s not be bully’s all the time!!! I witnessed a mean girl group bullying another chick who was alone. I offer to move places because it’s not that serious ... still. 916, come on.
Hope to see Allen here again . Harlow’s is more or a self aware crowd.
To say the show was amazing is an understanment. If you have the chance to see Waterparks in your town, GO! They are a truly amazing and spectacular band who put on the best show every time! And they are super sweet to all the fans and love when you sing the songs with them. The smile on the their faces just show you how much they love playing their music and the passion they have for it❤
My photos suck. So bad that I wont even post them. However the concert was great. The venue was great. The people were great. That's is the 3rd Candlebox show vie been to in the last 2 1/2 years ... This show was better than Slims in SF and The Rockbar in Reno put together. Kevin was one lastnight. The opening acts were great. Candlebox really put on a great show. Thanks Ace of Spades. Thanks Candlebox. Oh ya, even Memphis Hennesy showed up and played acoustic guitar on one song. Great night!
The concert was awesome! This was my second time seeing Yelawolf at this venue. Ace of spades was a disappointment this time around. We upgraded our tix to premium seating to avoid the long lines and have our own server. Long story short we had to wait in the general admission line, and our server was nowhere to be found for majority of the night. The concert itself was amazing and Yelawolf always puts on a kick ass show! No complaints there, the venue itself was pathetic though. Don’t think we’ll be going back there.
