I went to the Friday, September 20, 2024 show and it was awesome! It was my first time at the Pour House and my first time seeing Oteil. The atmosphere was so comfortable and laid back. I definitely plan on going back to experience other bands. I can't wait!
Great band got to chat a bit after w keyboardist. These guys are on their way for sure. Great musicianship. Cool beach vibe venue as well. Fun place.
In my opinion the Pour House is the best live music venue in Charleston, and anytime you have the opportunity to see Yarn play live should not be wasted. The talent and energy will not disappoint.
Great show. Kevn and friends treated us with stories and songs about life, love and heartache in the best possible venue. A perfect night. One in a million show.
The show was fantastic! ‘The Thing’ opened the night with a great set. I hadn’t heard of them before, but I’m a fan now! The Beaches, off course, were amazing! Great energy and a great connection to the stoked audience! I’m so appreciative that they made Charleston a stop on their tour. There are so many great Canadian bands and I’m hoping the word spreads among them that Charleston is a worthy destination!!!
Wow. Just wow. Amazing band, amazing musicians, and one of the best live bands I have ever seen. If anyone wants to see a face-melting rock and roll show, YOU MUST see these guys! I have seen the Rolling Stones over 20 times...and The Beaches are better!
My family and I saw them on three consecutive nights in Nashville, Atlanta, and Charleston and we are still grinning from ear-to-ear.
Eliza, the drummer, very kindly gave my son her drumsticks at the end of the show; he has now informed me he wants a drum kit for Christmas!!!
Thank you Beaches for such an amazing road-trip!
Duane Betts and Palmetto Motel were fantastic and the new album Wild and Precious Life is a great collection of music. Duane is a multi talented musician and is a very nice man.
Great bunch of guys. Need to get them down here more often. Most of the crowd had not heard of them but they loved the sound.
The show was fabulous!!! The musician's are so very talented. And there is something ethereal about the way Mikaela plays the harp !!! She has a sweet vibe! I brought friends who were not familiar with the band. They Loved the show as well. We are all looking forward to her return & with more friends in tow...Thanks for asking!
This review is for Clem Snide at The Pinhook in Durham NC Feb 18. Not sure the glitch. ……….We drove 5+ hours as Clem Snide is a 20+year favorite and was the first concert my partner and I saw in Atlanta together. This show was terrific and intimate. It was like eef is most comfortable in smaller venues like The Pinhook and shares more stories and nuttiness (“Stayin Alive by The Beegees tonight). The Pinhook is a great venue, with a respectful crowd and kind staff. Let us move bar stools around to see show and made custom drinks.
Great opening acts! Though the sound was louder than necessary for the 2nd group, The Rob Leines band but the drummer was spectacular! And it does make for a late night for us fans who are working in the morning…
But Mike and Moonpies put on a fun and energetic show with a varied set list with a number of catchy new and old tunes, and even a couple of covers with new creative takes. All talented are musicians and importantly the seemed to have fun during the show! Definitely made it worth staying to the end of the show!
Mike and the Moonpies always put on a phenomenal show. Excellent songwriting, exceptional musicianship, fun performers, everything you could want in a live performance. This was my first time at the Charleston Pour House and it’s a great venue. SRO but excellent sound and a relatively spacious stage. Fantastic night.
If I could give it 10 stars I would. Absolutely outstanding song selection and execution. The individuals in the band have all done their homework... Excellent show
Hands down two of the Best in the Cali Reggae Music scene, the show was so versatile with all kinds musical talent. Kbong always bring so much energy and JCosmic with smooth vocals you guys killed it.🤙 Thank you again.
Always the best. These are my go to guitar and keyboard guys .Always get to their shows or every once in a while buy tickets to show my support even if I can't make it .
So much FUN!! The way Betcha interacted with the crowd was Amazing. They had everyone out of their seats dancing and having a Blast. Best show I have ever been to!!
What a amazing young man with awesome talent !!! People you need to experience (Hendrix Experience) what this kid has !!! Believe me it will blow you away !!!
As he always does, the Rev delivered an awesome show at the Pour House in Charleston, SC on March 8. His playing and singing both were fantastic. Jimbo delivered on the upright bass as well. Jonathan Jeter was on drums and also amazing in his own right. I buy tickets for the Rev every time he's in town. Love it!
Epic show first time seeing them and blew me away. Damnit they put me in the best mood!! Glad I got to see them at a smaller venue while I could!
The legendary rhythm section of Fugazi (Joe Lally and Brendan Canty) plus incredibly talented jazz guitarist Anthony Pirog = mind blown 💥. The Messthetics were awesome and all are very friendly and approachable.
