Taj is one of the best, if not the best young blues guitarists I have seen in years. Great band, but mostly, he can just flat out play. Great venue too.
Barns is an amazing singer, storyteller, and human. He knows he to put on a show and keep everyone engaged and singing along. He makes it personal... like you're just sitting in his living room while hanging out and singing. This man is the real deal! Love him
The band was great! They played all the hits! And then some!
Liam was energetic and really good into singing the songs! I wish the crowd had been better, but it was an awesome show. Really wailed on the guitar and the upright bass was fantastic. Will go to see them anytime.
I work at a local hotel and had tickets that I could not use. So, I gave them to a guest. They absolutely loved it, they raved about it the next day! I was super sad I couldn’t see her but, super psyched she definitely has a bunch of new fans!! 🤗🤗🤗💃🎶🙋🏻♀️
I'm a very big fan of JV, so no surprise I loved the show, but more than that I liked the Venue. I met people coming in from several other states. Me from Texas, others sitting at my table from Mississippi, New York and other neighboring states. It was a very small club, but a great venue for a live show. The club history is cool, sound great, servers friendly. Great night!
Swamp dogg was amazing. Venue was cool. Crowd was kinda lame... Random people pushing and dancing in front of everyone. I love to dance but in a packed house u can't just have a dance party in front of everyone between pushing ure way back and forth to the bar for more drinks... Besides those lamos I highly recommend catching one of his shows.
A top 2 all-time concert!!! (Second only to Prince in Minneapolis...sorry). Their albums do not do justice to the music quality and talent. The live version of Medicine Man was amazing and of course seeing Hurricane performed in a New Orleans venue with the crowd will not be forgotten. Already have tickets for the Kansas City show.
We waited three and a half years to get back. Our last stop for my fiftieth was at Chickie Wah Wah's with Papa Mali in 2019 and our first coming back was for this show. We came full circle after four canceled trips to see George Portet Jr. with Bonarama blow the roof off! Cyril Neville was in the house and I was a bit star-struck, to say the least. The best Sugaree was played! Fed my soul. I lost my son and needed this more than words can ever tell. Thank you! Made this Mama Bear's cup overflow.
❤️🐻🐻✌️😲🙌😁
What an incredible show! George Porter Jr. with Bonarama took the roof off! The best Sugaree! Cyril Neville was in the house and I got a little star-struck. We have had four canceled trips to NOLA since 2020. We waited three and a half years to get back and what a night to start our awesome week. Can't wait to get back. Chickie Wah Wah's was the last place we went in 2019 for my fiftieth and the first coming back. Full circle and grateful. Thank you from this mama Bear. Truly blessed. ❤️🙌😲✌️😁
2nd time seeing him play—swear he gets better and better each time!! He’s gonna a huge deal in a blink of an eye; I have NO doubt whatsoever...Absolutely ADORE him and his lyrics/music/talent!!! More shows soon around NOLA, please, Andrew!!! 😊 Everyone...this is a fella you do NOT want to miss out on! 👌🏼
