Show was absolutely epic! Winona Fighter was a great opening band. My Girlfriend and I really enjoyed them as well as everyone else: Armor for Sleep, Finch & especially Bayside! Tons of energy and the sets were all incredible we are so glad to get to finally catch Bayside and Armor for Sleep live! Also it was almost a year ago from when we got to see Finch at the same venue.
First of all Finch absolutely crushed they may sound better now then in 2003.
Bayside was on point tighter than ever I have seen them 4 times and this was by far the best they also played don't call me peanut with was a treat I have never seen that live. It was a great show thanks bayside
Bayside was phenomenal! A lot of crowd interaction/sing-a-long from crowd in the best way. They are a seasoned group of performers and it shows. Armor for Sleep and Finch were solid. Winona Fighter has great energy and did their job to break the ice with the crowd and set the tone. In 5 years I won't be surprised to see them headlining. Sound was well mixed for all of the bands but hearing protection was a must. Finch was loud. HOB is a nice venue with minimal sightline problems and monitors were on for the whole show too. Stage setup worked well for quick changes between sets, allowing for ample time for Bayside. It didn't feel like a ton of downtime but enough time for bathroom breaks. My one complaint was not enough toilet paper in the ladies room. But the venue did make an attempt to correct the problem. Great show, great experience over all.
Mick is HIM. 10 years out from Tha Waters and he did his thing!! Stayed out late to sign merch and take pics w fans. Security literally had to escort him backstage. Also did an encore. Good mix of new and old songs. Totally packed out house. SLLIME on the dj w a live drummer. Mick rlly showed his ass on this night and I’m glad I didn’t miss it.
The event itself was amazing. It was a first time for my daughter to ever go to a concert and go experience her first time at the House of Blues was a once in a lifetime for her. I totally recommend the artist as well. My daughter has been a fan since day 1. What an experience she will forever have and cherish.
I've been a fan of them for forever my brother would play them all the time when i was younger and ever since then I've been a huge fan of them. I have never gotten post-concert depression until I saw josh and Tyler. thank you for literally making me dance in my car every time you guys come on. I hope that you do come to Chicago again because seeing you guys once wasn't enough. (On another note, Debby and Jenna were there at my show and it was so nice to see them) FOREVER A FAN
this show was so personal and intimate. i loved every second of it. it was 2 hours long and they played a lot of oldies but goodies and some of the new material. was really happy with the setlist for this show. they sounded amazing, too! jared still has such a beautiful voice and shannon did a spectacular job on the drums.
This was one of the best concerts of the year. Jared and Shannon were @ the top of their game. High energy throughout the entire show. Kudos to the sound and lighting techs. Lighting was spot on and sound was clear as ever. The played two new releases from their upcoming album and it’s sure to hit the Billboard top ten!! Sold out last night and tonight @ HOB Chicago. If you can still find a ticket to tonight’s show, its worth every penny.

this was my first time seeing waterparks and my first time at the house of blues! it was awesome, except we had some trouble with the line and people getting confused and cutting which was the venues fault not the bands. the inside is somewhat confusing also, the merch was in the coat check with no guidance we just had to figure it out on our own. security was kind of rude as well. on the other hand this was definitely one of my favorite shows i’ve been to, waterparks had so much energy and created so much energy in the crowd! the mosh pit was crazy tho and i have a knee injury so it was pretty scary. i would definitely see waterparks again! just not so sure about going to the house of blues…
Show was amazing… Ville sounds better than ever, at 46 this guy is killing it. The new band is right their with him. Now Let me say The House of blues in Chicago is a beautiful theater, with amazing art, and sculptures, and the history in that place is fantastic. But unfortunately there is nowhere to really see the shows there. If you don’t get a box seat vip, or just get to the venue way ahead of doors opening.
Ali Gatie was absolutely amazing. I expected nothing less. He LOVES his fans. He makes everyone at the show feel seen and he’s SO SO genuine. Unlike any other artist I’ve ever seen. The music was amazing. I went with my older sister. Ali Gatie is an incredible artist and person with a big heart, and his music shows it. Incredible music. Incredible concert. 100/10. I would give it 6 stars if I could. I hope to see him playing in a stadium next time ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Space of Variations were excellent. Great performance and the energy they opened with really got the crowd going. I'll leave my opinions on the middle two bands, Vended and POD, to myself. Jinjer was everything I was expecting and more, though. Just a phenomenal performance all around.
The venue was great. Smaller floor space, so everyone had a great view of the stage. Sound quality was great for me, although I heard from a few people in a Jinjer group that Tatiana's vocals sounded a bit low. I thought they were fine, though.
After all these years of listening to Chris and his wonderful music, I finally got to meet the man himself! The setlist was everything you could of wanted and more! Made some awesome friends and enjoyed all three nights! If this is the only show I’ll see all year, I’m more than content with it! :)
Amazing from beginning to end! It was our 11 year old son’s second show and our 6 year old daughter’s first show! They were both blown away by the performance and won’t stop talking about it! My daughter was in tears when Tyler Carter came on, I asked what was wrong and she said “I just want to meet Tyler Carter so bad!” Lol. Always a great time seeing Issues! I look forward to the next tour!
Let Light Overcome the Darkness tour was incredible!! If you can see them, you should! They put on a GREAT show. We started the show at the back by the sound board and was able to work our way up from all the moshing to the barricade! I got kicked in the face by so many crowd surfers and drenched with an unknown liquid (still hoping it was water) but all of it was worth the story those bands told on stage tonight. You guys rock! Keep doing what you do! 🖤🤘🏻
Alex put on an amazing performance as always! He always puts his all in everything and it really shows during his concerts. 4th ave and Aja9 were incredible too! Aja9 was the sweetest! And both of them hyped up the crowd and put on an awesome performance. I had such a fun time. The venue was so cool! And everyone was super nice.
drove over 7 hours there to see her :) she is incredibly talented, such it was an amazing show. sabrina is such a underrated artist she is so so talented and has incredible stage presence. purchased a VIP ticket and it was the best use of my money, sabrina is such a genuine and loving person. i’ve never been happier, talking to her was so surreal. show was absolutely amazing would definitely recommend seeing her live. <3
Hands down the greatest show I’ve ever been to, everyone who went to the show loves the band and knows all the songs which really makes the experience that much more amazing, I’ve listened to MT’s music for almost 10 years and my best friend got meet and greet ticket which we spent a lot of money on and as much as I liked the Q&A everything felt really impersonal, we got pre-signed autographs and got one picture with them, I asked for a hug and they wouldn’t even do that, I’m sure they’ve had experiences with fans that take it too far but I’ve really dedicated a lot of time into loving and supporting them and I really didn’t feel it back during the meet and greet, the show on the other hand you could tell that’s what they love doing. I currently and always will love and support MT and look forward to going to another one of their concerts in the future
The Dungeon Family Tour launched in Chicago at House of Blues yesterday and oh what a night! An epic journey through the catalogs of Big Boi, CeeLo Green, Goodie Mobb, Sleepy Brown and more. I wanna say OutKast, but the tour is minus 3000. Even still, Organized Noize is a whole damn sound. The show started hella late thanks to the storms hitting Georgia this weekend, but once it got started, it was on and bumpin’ and non-stop. The transitions were smooth and logical and pretty damn good for the opening night of the tour. They all wore only three colors - red, black and white. I wondered if that was for Chicago, as it was cool to see the coordination onstage and amongst the audience because we do rock a lot of Bulls and Blackhawks wear. I wondered if they planned to switch colors to honor each city. All looked and sounded of the best quality tho. Will be posting more of my clips later for fellow Dungeon Fam fans ✌🏽 #dungeonfamilytour2019 #dungeonfamily #bigboi #ceelo #goodiemobb #hiphop #itsbiggerthanhiphop @bigboi @ceelogreen @outkast @goodiemob @hobchicago #chicago #livemusic #hiphopmusicnews
