I got introduced to JP in the early 90's and have been a fan since. I have had the opportunity to catch them live in concert multiple times. I always enjoy their show and Cary's energy, especially but am always disappointed that they literally only play about a 90 minute set and don't always play an encore; if they do, it's only one more song. It's interesting that the Rolling Stones and Bruce Springsteen still tour, are much older than JP and play about twice as long. Furthermore, I never know if they will be just an acoustic duo or have a drummer & bass player with them as their show description never indicates that. I caught them @ Knuckleheads in the past and they did bring a drummer & a bass player and those tickets were around $25-30 apiece then. The next time they came to town at that same venue, they were back to being an acoustic duo but the tickets prices had increased to $45????? Since then, I've caught them a time or two and they were the acoustic duo again but their ticket prices were back down to the $25-30 apiece range. I love their music, stories and shows but wish that they played a longer set to bring a better value to their fans and I wish that there was some consistency in their pricing. Regardless, I recommend catching them live at least once and maybe downloading some of their songs. They are a talented couple of artists.

LA Guns put on a great outside show at Knuckleheads. It is good for all that Phil and Traci are together. They played 2 new songs and all of their old classics. The band was tight and Phil’s voice is hanging in there. Traci got some extra stage time for guitar solo’s which was great to give credit to the OG. The band appreciated the crowd and looked like they were having a good time. I would definitely recommend seeing them when they are coming through your town.

Great show. Was hoping to hear a couple of songs from his solo career e.g. Break It To Him Gently, Your Backyard, I Will Play a Rhapsody, Stand Tall, etc. He only played The Guess Who songs and a JJ Cale cover. Irrespective, it was a great show. Last saw him over 40 years ago and although is voice has lost some range, it is still classic Burton Cummings. Thanks for all the years of music you have given us.
