I have been a big fan of Naomi Ashley for 4 years now, and I found this show interesting because it brings together many songwriters who write songs based on haikus and get to perform them.

Heather Horton is a gem. If you have an opportunity to see one of her solo shows, you should definitely go. Her original sounds are stunning and from the heart. When she chooses to cover a song she finds that balance between a true homage and making the song her own. The Golden Dagger is a perfect venue for her, intimate, friendly and has perhaps one of the best sound engineers in the area- her vocals, guitar, violin- all sound so clear. Can’t wait for next month!

Joe Kaplow is magical. Space was awesome and had a most excellent evening!!

Trapper and his band are a top notch act. Playing in a small room, the band brought the same energy that they previously brought playing in front of thousands at Summerfest. Trapper himself is an engaging front man whether on the guitar, harmonica or keys. The songs, and the stories behind them, delivered throughout the 90+ minute set.

Fckin awesome. Caleb rocked and so did his band. The opener, Joana Teters, was also nothing short of captivating on stage. Overwhelmed by the talent last night.
