Rescue Rooms

What a great uplifting evening, it was so nice to see young people coming out again, having a beer and a laugh, AND singing along to some of the old ones!! (Parents do know something afterall) This band could NEVER dissapoint and how fantastic that they still have the creative spirit to make a new (and very good) album. My first time at the rescue rooms and it's a great venue and all the staff were lovely and the beer cheaper than the chain restaurant we ate in before.

I loved it! A fairly compact venue which suited the girls and the rest of the band. The sound was great. The staff were helpful and friendly (inc. security!) Probably the best gig I've been to there. Between Rock City, Stealth, Black Cherry & the Rescue Rooms the only thing missing is food. Overall though, you go for the music...Great band and venue ! 😎

Superb performance from them again, they just get better every time I See them, this makes 4x... They had the audience on their side right form the start, good choice of support act as well, here's to hoping they release a live album at some point, that captures them at their best

It was fantastic, being in the presence of the band was surreal because I'd only ever seen videos of their live shows and music videos, and their humour is brilliant, Chibi's onstage persona didn't half make me giggle, she has this energy that hasn't faded since the band started, and I was happy to be a part of that

Three excellent bands first up City Flowers great energetic set first time hearing them very impressed they should go far Next up The Cruel Knives again first time seeing another very polished set full of energy Then them main event Dead Posey Danyell Souza took to the stage like a possessed demon and then continued to own it for the whole, great interaction with the audience powerful set delivered with passion and perfection belting out top tune after top tune. Only really negative was the night had to come to an end. One last word first visit to the Rescue Rooms great venue It still amazes me that after well over forty years of seeing live bands it’s still possible to find new music and venues like this

Dust Coda were ace, they just rocked out & performed an energetic joy. Bad Touch were fab as ever, their unique sound pulsed through in heavy riffs. Fans & newbies alike were not disappointed. I love these guys & my 4 hour round trip to see them was certainly worth it. I am constantly watching out for my next trip to see them. The venue was new to me, being disabled I found all the steps hard work - there was a stepless alternative but it meant more walking & my mobility is not good, I had to opt for tackling the steps to reach a much needed seat. The access staff were ready & waiting for me with said seat & were willing to set it down wherever I wanted - bit difficult as it was first time I had been there. Parking was the down side for me - it cost me £11 to park with my blue badge, in the nearest car park - Q Park. It took me a good amount of detective work to contact the car park & make a booking - not easy or as straightforward as it could have been!! It was reasonabley close to the venue giving 3 minutes walking distance ( 10 minutes for me & that was to the front of the venue with the steps, probably 3 times more to go to the 'step free' entrance....). With petrol it suddenly became an expensive gig, good job I love Bad Touch.........!! Cheers boys, thanks for a fab night, hope to see you again soon. **

Went in blind having never heard their music. Went with friends who are big fans of Black Honey. Had an amazing time and will absolutely be listening to their stuff in future, great show and they were very friendly in the meet and greet afterwards!

Great gig The Rescue Rooms is a really nice smaller venue and the band were on great form. They played a terrific set going from one song to another without wasting time waffling. I wish it was a bit longer, but that's me enjoying it so much rather than then the band playing a short set. Fantastic night.

This was the 17th time I've seen When Rivers Meet and this was the best yet. They performed their new album in it's entirety plus a few favourites and the six piece band played to perfection. A special mention must go to the support band 'Pitol Daisys' who were excellent and got the night off to a great start.

I would see this band life every single day of the year. The energy was amazing, I injured my knee just before the show but was enjoying myself so much that I didn’t feel the pain at all until the next day 😂

The band were an awesome live act, and talked about important issues. I also felt a part of the community as an LGBTQIA+ person, and the band also had great stage Prescence and banter which led to them performing an extra cover song

Absolutely amazing show had an awesome time. V.i.p experience well worth it show was out of this world had the pleasure of meeting shawn his wife and Sage stoked to see them and have a chat with them. quality people can't wait for next time

It was an incredible show, I really enjoyed the supporting bands and As Everything Unfolds have proven they can become one of the best female fronted bands in the rock and metal scene, and music in general imo, so if you have not seen this band live then you're missing out, go grab a ticket if you have not and go show them the love and support. Definitely one of the best gigs I've been to and I'm glad to be a part of it.

Fabulous gig in a very special venue where you can get to see up close and actually talk to your artists at the merch etc. Great night with the new blossoming talent of Dea Matrona's melodic rock with 70s influences balancing the high energy modern rock of Kris's band. What a showman! After the gig the open mike night was still going strong in the bar. A very special venue indeed.

Both badflower and dead poet society put on a fantastic show as a person who has severe social anxiety I was over the moon I made it as I have never felt safer than I did that night. And the whole show felt so inclusive like we were all just one big family

So so grateful to see Everclear last night, i’ve been a fan for years and it was worth the wait. I spent the whole night with the biggest grin on my face. Love you guys, enjoy the rest of the tour and take care ❤️

If you haven't seen this band you must catch them on this tour, or when they support Buckcherry later this year. They are so tight - the new singer has taken them to a new level, Solid bass and drums like DC, and amazing twin guitar attack from the brothers. F*****g Loved it.....cheers guys!!!

After a wait of over 10 years, I finally managed to see TMTCH live. The previous years were blighted with no gigs, missed opportunities, double-bookings & general incompetence on my part! Saturday night was almost scuppered again by my mate not having his Covid passport with him (doesn't have a smartphone - only because he couldn't really be bothered with all that!) so a mad dash to Ilkeston & back by taxi ensued, reaching the Rescue Rooms a little after 8PM. We grabbed a pint at the bar and then found a bit of standing room by a large pillar in the packed room. 8.15 (ish) & on they come & kicked straight into Raising Hell - this set the tone for the evening's entertainment & raised the hairs on the back of my neck. Finally! After so many years of missed opportunities here they were & so was I! The night went by in a blur of beer, cheering & singing (not necessarily in that order!) from which I'm still recovering. They barnstormed through a varied setlist with personal highlights being The Green Fields Of France (a fitting tribute to the dearly missed Cush), Smugglers and The Colours but to be honest, I could count every song as a favourite because they were all just superb. TMTCH are - in my opinion - all about stories, and every song tells a tale wrapped around rousing choruses and soaring melodies which is right up my aural strasse! Main set finished with Ironmasters which left everyone wanting more (& a little hoarse), & more they got with an encore of A Night To Remember and Walkin' Talkin'. Utterly superb - witty banter interspersed with great songs, and out & about round Nottingham just after 10pm! What a fantastic evening's entertainment & the best £20 (+ booking fee) ever spent. I'm hoping they'll come round again soon & if they do, I'll be there (as will my mate - now definitely a TMTCH fan; previously TMTCH curious ;-)), I just hope it won't take another 10 years!

Incredible. I've been following Tiger Army for years, but this is the first time I've seen them live. Small venue but huge energy from Nick 13 and the rest of the band got the crowd buzzing. Blessed to meet drummer Mike Fasano in the bar afterwards, couldn't have been nicer and got some photos! Thanks Mike!
