Deep below the surface of Helsinki, Finland, a signature sound has been forged through the collective artistry of Survinylist and the G.I.B., lyrical prospectors in search of the gold standard of hip hop. The resulting expression is Under The Underground, a creative platform distinctively influenced by underground LA boombap (think Lootpack, LMNO, and anything coming out of Project Blowed) but also mixing in a global perspective (some of the pioneering creativity of Murmurecordings here in Finland).
