Great evening! Great venue!

Venue is still so classy and beautiful. The venerable lady The Folly is the still the most comfortable and relaxed place to hear music in KCMO, (no shade to Kauffman). Hot Club still has the showpersonship, the individual and collective musicianship, the energy, fun interplay, and the sheer joy of their music. The Western swing of Bob Wills and his heirs is such an important and overlooked part of the American music. HCoC makes it accessible to all and hits the on-ramps to jazz, gypsy, European and Russian updated traditionals. Is there nothing they can't play? Follow them.

This triumvirate can really swing, and tonight was no exception! The Jazz Alley crowd was a little subdued, but it didn’t keep Elana, Whit and Jake from tearing it up!! They were ON, and it was a joy to listen to (as always)!!!

As usual, the HCoC rocked with 2 sets of hot jazz and Western swing! They never disappoint!!!!

Hot Club of Cowtown is AWESOME! Each band member is a stand out alone to together it's a real treat!

They make it look so easy. Very convivial. The audience was kind of flat, but their energy was great.
