En suivant la logique de mini-série imaginée par les MC’s Youthstar & Miscellaneous, le troisième épisode, l’album "Salvation", arrive en apothéose. Et pour ce faire, quoi de mieux que la fête ?
Après le “couvre-feu” (cf. album Out Past Curfew) et “l’étrange période” d’adaptation qui a suivi (cf. EP Stranger Times), place à la liberté et l’ouverture sur le monde jusqu’ici mis en pause : SALVATION.
Tout comme les tracks qui composent cet album, les Releases Party Salvation ont pour ambition de célébrer et de partager cette effervescence ensemble où la fête est à son apogée ! On vous l’annonce d’avance, ça va être du louuurd ! Pour vous plonger directement dans l’ambiance, Salvation c’est un voyage de 13 titres avec des sujets forts et optimistes comme la motivation, la quête du bonheur, mixés avec des thèmes plus mélancoliques à l’image des addictions ou de la dépendance mais toujours à travers d’incroyables flows percutants et refrains aux gimmicks entêtants qui vous donnent envie de headbanguer, et pour les plus motivés, let's go to in the moshpits !
Si la ligne directrice de cet album est axée sur leur genre de prédilection, le rap/hip-hop, il emprunte aussi les codes de l’électro, de la trap, de la bass music ou encore du reggae. Vous l’aurez compris, en Live ce sera une belle soirée en perspective où les seuls mots d’ordre seront : euphorie et délectation ! Et comme à plusieurs la fête est plus folle, on retrouve également sur le projet tout un crew de beatmakers de pointe tels que Tha Trickaz, La Fine Equipe, Rhum One, Ennemi, Senbeï ou encore de grands artistes & m.c's comme Biga*Ranx, Dope D.O.D, F.P de ASM…

Youthstar Biography
A native of London, Youthstar began his career on the Drum&Bass scene, in particular within
the Dirtyphonics collective, then with Camo and Krooked during a world tour. In 2014,
Youthstar meets the group Chinese Man then joins their tours around the world and
participates in the project The Groove Sessions Vol.3. He also surrounds himself with
Senbeï (Smokey Joe & The Kid) on production and released his first 2 solo projects on the
label Chinese Man Records, SA.MOD and Back To The Sauce, on which he collaborates
with many artists such as Chill Bump, Dope DOD, ASM, Deluxe or Foreign Beggars. While touring with his own live, he also performs on tour with Chinese Man in France and worldwide for the album Shikantaza.
Miscellaneous is first and foremost the voice of the fusion group Fumuj and Rytmétix, in
which he had the opportunity to collaborate with Doctor Flake and Metastaz. Pure English
native speaker, Miscellaneous arrived in France at the height of the golden age of French rap
and quickly imposed his sharp and impulsive flow.
Since 2010, he leads the duo Chill Bump with the beatmaker Bankal. The group releases 4
albums (Ego Trip, Crumbs, Going Nowhere and Crumbs Vol. 2) and performs on many
French stages and abroad. Over the years, Miscellaneous multiplies collaborations
(Biga*Ranx, Taïwan MC, Foreign Beggars, Smokey Joe & The Kid, Senbeï, Degiheugi,
ASM...) and gets closer to the group Chinese Man and the MC Youthstar with whom he
forms an explosive duo.
At the end of 2021, Youthstar & Miscellaneous release their shared album “Out Past
Curfew” on Chinese Man Records.
In 2022 the duo released their EP entitled "Stranger Times" with producers like Bankal from
Chill Bump, Rhino (ASM), Coeur Nwar and more.
Now for 2023, they have come back strong with their second album entitled "Salvation" with
some amazing features from BIGA*RANX, Dope DOD and FP (ASM), and productions from
the likes of La fine Équipe, Tha Trickaz, Ennemi, Olo (On Dub Ground) Rhum One and many
more! This album has something for everyone! Album "SALVATION" available now! Get ready!
