Kings of Leon

Das waren zwei gigantische Stunden! KOL haben mit einem gut gemischten Set so dermaßen gerockt, so dass es eine gelungene Reise durch ihre gesamten Alben war. Die Klassiker haben nicht gefehlt und so war es mit „Sex on fire“ am Ende ein fulminantes Erlebnis.

This band achieved so much and sound note perfect in every way live as they do on their records. A+ concert. I don't know how much the crowd responded - it seemed a little quiet from my vantage point. I think Caleb felt that as well from his comments. But I thought it was an all time great show and felt very grateful to be there.

Tough end of season last night at Budweiser and heavy rain for more than half the show as I felt kings of Leon mailed in their 1:45 set. Music was great but very little energy.

Amazing show all around. These guys never disappoint and last night was no exception. Took my 9 yr old daughter for her first concert and she had the time of her life. So thank you Kings of Leon for all the memories over the years.

If you weren’t at the Kings of Leon concert in Austin, you missed one hell of a night. From the first strum of the guitar to the last lingering note, these Southern rockers delivered a performance that could set the heart of Texas ablaze. The venue was packed, and the energy was electric. You could feel the anticipation in the air as the lights dimmed and the first chords of "Closer" echoed through the crowd. Caleb Followill's voice was as raw and powerful as ever, cutting through the noise like a knife through butter. It’s clear the man was born to sing, and sing he did—every note dripping with emotion, every word telling a story. But it wasn’t just about the vocals. Matthew Followill shredded the guitar like it owed him money, while Jared and Nathan Followill laid down a rhythm section that could make even the stiffest bodies in the crowd sway. Hits like "Sex on Fire" and "Use Somebody" brought the house down, with the audience singing along as if their lives depended on it. And let’s talk about the lighting—the visual effects were nothing short of spectacular, adding an extra layer of intensity to an already blistering set. The band also treated the crowd to a few deep cuts, reminding everyone that their discography is as deep as it is wide. It was a masterclass in how to blend the old with the new, keeping long-time fans and newcomers alike on their toes. Austin has always been a town that appreciates real music, and Kings of Leon delivered exactly that—no frills, no gimmicks, just pure, unadulterated rock 'n' roll. If you were lucky enough to be there, you know what I’m talking about. If not, let this be a lesson: when Kings of Leon comes to town, you drop everything and go. This was a concert for the ages, the kind you’ll be talking about for years to come. In short, Kings of Leon in Austin? Absolute fire.

Really loved this gig it was worth the wait due to the pandemic . I finally got to see one of my favourite bands . Loved the fact everyone at times were singing with the band , loved that they zoomed into different areas of the crowd and saw the crowds reactions was entertaining , before the gig and loved Caleb’s interaction with the crowd , I was part of the lively bunch at the top haha , from what I remember him saying . the lights were amazing , even though I was on the highest seating I got a great view . Great night a lot of dancing , amazing songs played and a night I won’t forget

Was stoked & so happy I had the opportunity to see them, they were awesome, waited over 10 years to see them, pleased they sung some off there older songs as well as there most recent. Hopefully they won't wait so long to tour Australia again & we will see them within another 5 at least.

Traveled from France just to see them play that night. The atmosphere was amazing. UK crowds know how to make gigs fantastic. KOL played 25 songs, a bit from every album. Visuals and sounds at their finest, they were truly amazing. I couldn't hope for a better concert and venue.

Best concert we’ve ever been to just great!! Band, visuals, sound & venue. I hate to compare but chilli peppers at London stadium last week spoiled by the venue with seats at almost £200 each the view with shielded stage and sound nowhere near the O2 … even though the chilli peppers were brilliant …

They played all their hits and the outdoor audience of over 26,000 sang along to nearly every one of them! OKC set up a great stage and the audio and video was fantastic! Fireworks at the end. Food trucks and beer/water vendors all around the park with reasonable prices. Great weather to boot. Amazing night!

Great show! Lights and sound were great. The set had good flow with the right mix of acoustic stuff to heavy hitting songs. Taking off a half star because I found the on-screen visuals (abstract video of women's' hands, etc.) a bit distracting from the performance.

Really enjoyed the show, wish it didn't end at 10:30 though. They had so many more great songs they could've sang. I'm glad I upgraded my ticket to be closer to the stage than sit on the lawn. Only hope they'll be back next year and play in Charlotte at The Fillmore or the Charlotte Metro Credit Union Amphitheater.

Oh my frigging, goodness gracious, it was amazing.Best I've heard, the vocals and instruments were on point. Everyone in the venue was loving it. Walls to me was my favourite track of the night, having the spotlight on Caleb, and changing it up at the end with a big finish. Absolutely superb

I love it when a band sounds as good live as they do recorded. Kings of Leon were absolutely phenomenal! Not sure why this rating system would allow me to only give 4-1/2stars, because they were a 5:)

Sleep Train Amphitheater is actually one of my favourite places. I had never been there until yesterday and I found that the place was awesome. But then when I heard Kongos, Young the Giant and of course Kings of Leon I got amazed. It was a total spectacle with very nice and loud sound, awesome zoom in the giant screen and the illumination was totally amazing. Put all those things together and you get my favourite concert I've ever been in my whole life!!!!!!

It was a magical night at Red Rocks September 24th, 2014. Kongos opened the show as the sun set. They rocked it! They got everyone on their feet and dancing and loved being there as much as we loved it. Young the Giant kept the crowd on their feet and dancing. When Kings of Leon took the stage the crowed was in a frenzy. They opened the show with Supersoaker and played a 2 hour set of 24 songs including Arizona as Denver's 'Song for the City' and closed with Sex On Fire. This was one of my favorite Red Rock concerts and I can't wait to see Kongos heading their own show at Red Rocks in the next few years and for the next electrifying Kings of Leon performance.

All three bands were really good. Kings of Leon was awesome. I'm not that familiar with their music, but it was really tight. I also loved the video show that moved to the beat of their music.

The only thing I don't like is that GA tickets are rows 48 and up. I waited in line all day for a planter at Red Rocks and people were let in early. GA should be first come first serve rows 2 and up!!

Amazing show! Kings of Leon sounded fantastic! The set was upbeat and fun, and really awesome background graphics enhanced their overall performance. We had a great time and really enjoyed the show! Only slight complaint would be that they didn't play Beautiful War, which is off the album Mechanical Bull, but overall the show was put on very well, the acoustics sounded simply fantastic and we had a great time! Great live performance from a very talented band!
