I’ve seen The Maine every year they have come out to Aus since 2011. They just get better each time and am so grateful to be able to share an experience with so many others that just love these incredible humans. Plus they’re just genuinely nice people 🥹❤️
Gravelmind was a solid open! Dudes got everybody in the right mind frame for what was to come.King 810 had a crazy stage presence and altogether the act was dope, played their bangers, Paleface Swiss tore the roof off the building with all their best hits and involved themselves and the crowd amazingly and then In Hearts Wake, they reached into the sky, rebuilt the roof in front of our eyes and then brought the house down around us. Songs from their library, rotation of the new stuff and just a sound quality that was unmatched. 5 stars, 10/10, two thumbs up and a perfect 100!
Alpha Wolf never disappoints with their outstanding performances. Each show is a testament to their exceptional talent and unwavering dedication, with every musician perfectly in tune with their instrument.
Scottie, Sabian, and John on guitar form a trio that is not only harmoniously synchronised but also radiates an infectious sense of fun. Their chemistry on stage is palpable, making every performance an exhilarating experience.
Mitch on drums continues to be an undeniable highlight. I’ve said it before and I'll say it again: he is the very best drummer Australia has to offer. His playing is marked by a rare combination of passion, strength, and clarity that resonates deeply with the audience, making each beat feel both powerful and intimate.
The shared vocals between John and Lochie are particularly noteworthy. It’s amazing to see John's vocals becoming more prominent in the newer tracks, adding a fresh and dynamic element to the band's sound. Lochie, too, is nearing perfection with his vocal performance, bringing an edge that enhances the band's overall impact.
What’s truly beautiful is witnessing a band that knows exactly what they stand for and never backing down from it. Their commitment to their sound and values is evident in every note they play and every lyric they sing.
As a long-time fan, it’s incredibly rewarding to see Alpha Wolf’s journey and their well-deserved success on an international scale. Their growth and the positive reception they receive from fans around the world are truly heartening.
Where my dogs at?
I went to their Brisbane show the night before and I think the sound at the venue was not so great - but that takes nothing away from their performance!! they told the crowd it was their best show of the Australian leg of the world tour...
They are dynamic and such an underrated band and I hope they continue to have massive global success ❣️
I'm seeing them tonight in Melbourne and having the VIP Expeirence and can't wait for that opportunity to meet the band!
I reckon Melbourne's show will be mental!! ❤️
this event was literally all I could ask for and more and it was one of my favorite shows pls COME BACK MISS ROAN
Greatest band in the land. Played a mix of old tracks and even a new song. Sound was awesome. Light show was insane. The band was tight and full of energy and absolutely rocked the Liberty Hall.
Attensed the 1st Sydney show, absolutely amazing. The guys did not miss a beat and arranged the best set list. Could not have rated their performance highly enough.
Amazing concert! If you haven't seen The HU live, you're missing out on some serious talent and entertainment. Their sound is a unique blend of Mongolian folk music and traditional instruments with a serious dose of heavy metal. Not too many of the audience could speak the language, but everyone could understand the passion and intensity of the music.
I'd seen them a few days earlier at Knotfest and their engagement with the crowd was one of the highlights of the event. This was a smaller venue and they had a longer set - every song was a crowd pleaser and they brought the same level of energy as they had to the big outdoor stage.
The venue was interesting - fairly compact with limited facilities and the queue to enter was rather long. Easy to get to by public transport. Sound system was reasonable for the size of the stage.
It was my 70th birthday on the 25 March so what a fantastic birthday present from my 2 sons !
I’ve been a fan for past 4 years but it was my sons first time of hearing The Hu live - they loved them!
By the way - my eldest son Jean-Paul is a double look alike for the bands lead singer. Hahaaa!
Hoping the band will return soon!!
Have been to thousands of gigs since my year 12 in '83 & The HU tonight rates as one of the best. Like Shamans from Central Asia's Stepps, The HU had us all entranced from the first song's opening cords to the last. Songs were sang with deep guttural throat Mongol passion, traditional instruments could reproduce the whinnies of the Mongol Stepp Ponies to rapid fire violin like power chords. There were two drum kits, one traditional, plus a rhythm section of bass & Les Paul. All combined to produce the energy & rock comparable to well known stadium metal bands, such as Metallica. But the music & lyrics of The HU's material is built as an inspiration to a nation of disenfranchised people whose ancestors once brought fear across Asia into Western Europe. The HU tonight could now without doubt fill stadiums across the World with adoring fans from many nations, uniting as perhaps Genghis Khan had once intended - Check 'em out...
Band was amazing, and the venue was rubbish. They had oversold tickets, overflowing everywhere, and most people couldn't actually see the band. Always avoid liberty hall.
Absolutely amazing! Lzzy and the boys deliver everything on the stage, over and over again. This was my third concert and I’ve been raving about it to all of my friends and I’m already looking forward to seeing them again next time they come here! Lzzy is a powerhouse of a singer and Josh, Joe and Arejay are badass!
Our 4th time seeing our favourite lady rocker and partners in crime (will see them for the 5th finest Knotfest)…fantastic concert! Lzzy had the crowd eating out of her hand…she really is that classic sultry leading lady (and beautiful person as well, as are the rest of the band - we had a meet and greet with them the first time they came down in 2015). It was great to see some new versions of some of the songs. Skindred were ridiculously entertaining (who I will also see again at Knotfest) and local group Reliqa got the crowd warmed up nicely. Super night!!
MASSIVE Halestorm fan
Loved the concert
2 days after and my throat is still killing me :P
And Skindred was off the CHAIN and loved it
An exceptional show. Personal, energetic, with great music and a great crowd. Would absolutely go back to any further performances.
Absolutely phenomenal. Best artist I’ve ever seen live. Energy was unmatched
Great energy and stage presence from the band and a great crowd all in the right spirits.
Would have scored higher if the show went for longer (it went for roughly 50 mins all up) & the use of backing tapes/audio, which generally I’m fine with, but it had me wondering how much of the show is performed live as there were times there’s a guitar solo or vocals without anyone playing/singing.
Was so amazing, the energy they had was great and the music was top tier. Keen for them to come back soon!!
Amazing performance! Loved every minute of it. Merch sold out quickly 😭
Best gig I’ve been to in 25 years. Amazing set and a superb crowd. Absolutely superb!
