Roger is excellent in concert. Venue works well as long as you are on front on the stage. Side tables not so good with sound. Ty Meyers is solid!!

This was my first visit to the Frio but it won't be my last. The restaurant staff was friendly and great, even with the large crowd for a meal and drinks before the concert. The outdoor stage and seating area was fun with the sizeable crowd, who appreciated the performances. The "warm-up act" was a lot very good but I failed to get his name. Would attend something just to see him perform. I have seen Ray numerous times and am always entertained. He's one of my very favorite singer/songwriters and I have lots of his CDs. I was disappointed that he didn't perform more of my favorite songs but, when an artist has so many great ones, he has to limit his choices. The only real down side (not considering the heat) was that his merchandise was not available due to some glitch on the part of his team. Sad because he would have sold thousands of dollars worth to the large crowd. I will be watching the venue site for upcoming shows because we really enjoyed the whole experience.
