I had never heard this group before and honestly wasn't expecting too much. But I must say I was very impressed and I would love to see them again! Lauen Alaina was good as well. The only downside was it was on a Monday night.
Great event even if it was on a Monday night! We had a blast. It was my first time seeing Pentatonix live and my second so we enjoyed it. We didn't realize that they had two openers which was nice but since the tickets said the show started at 8 pm, we missed part of the opening act which was a bummer.
The concert was fabulous! Enjoyed the venue, too. I brought my friend who uses a cane, so even with premier parking it was a long walk for her. Appreciated the shuttle, but it only took us to the entrance. Still... We would do it all again to see Darius. Drew Holcomb and the Neighbors were terrific, too!
First of all: Five Point is a win every time, free parking and a great venue all around.
Second: Holy sh^t!! I didn’t know what to expect from a live performance since their music is so electric but Milky Chance gave such an incredible show I’m literally in shock. I regret not buying a pit ticket. So good.
Mudvayne was spectacular. First time seeing them, at long last! As always, with any band u see, there are songs you hope to hear and dont, but thems the breaks. The band is second to none when it comes to being top musicians. Chad Grey is one of the best frontmen in rock Ever! I have seen live Jagger, Bowie, and Scott Weiland who i put at the very top, Chad Grey belongs in that category and just seems to be a really good human!
Nonpoint was great, Coal Chamber’s fans loved their show, and what do u say about Gwar? I had never seen them and now want every one of my friends to see them. Dang they were one of the funnest bands i have ever seen, and great musicians. We more than got our $$$ worth!
One hell of a show! Took my daughter since The Offspring is her favorite band and they did not disappoint. When my kids excited she rarely shows emotion. But she was dancing and singing her heart out. The Offspring you killed as usual🙌🏼 This was one of many favorite memories I got to share with my kiddo💖🤘🏼
It was my first time at FivePoint Amphitheater. The venue was fabulous! The concert absolutely ROCKED!! I’m a huge fan of the Offspring and recently got familiar with Sum 41 who 1st opened the show. Sum 41 kicked ass!! Simple Plan followed as the 2nd opening band. I honestly was not familiar with them or their music but they really rocked it! Then finally my favorite the Offspring. They were absolutely amazing and they really played for the crowd!!! LOVED EVERY MOMENT!!!
Both TLC and En Vogue were amazing. TLC should've closed out the show instead of Shaggy. I'm not a fan of the FivePoint Amphitheatre though because they use port-a-potties instead of regular restrooms. They do have handwashing stations but the restroom situation nevertheless remains problematic for me. On the plus, general parking is free.
We loved that Matchbox Twenty made good on the tickets we bought 3 years ago. We loved that they have a new album out this week! They mixed old with new and it was the perfect blend. Rob Thomas is always so thankful for everything and says his band is too. We had a great experience with Five Point. We hope it becomes permanent! Love it!
This is an honest review by someone who was at the show. Matchbox Twenty put on a good show, played all the hits and mixed in some good new songs. They started strong, peaking with a great duo version of "If You're Gone", where it was just Rob Thomas and the guitarist. (I will not call this "acoustic" or "Unplugged" because the electric guitar was plugged in, they just did this song with just guitar and vocals). It was great, then things lulled a bit when they did 3 songs in a row that were deep cuts (These Hard Times, The Way and Parade). So they had to come back from that, which started with Bent, Back2Good and Long Day. They ended the main set with a new song, Rebels, that is really good but the fans were not into it since they did not know it. Rob's voice was also straining, having done a lot of shows in a row.
The encore had all the big hits, done well. All in all a good show, just might tweak or shorten the set list. At least pepper the set with deep cuts, doing them all in a row kind of killed the momentum.
Very good show, he can still bring it. Even though this was the last show of the summer tour and Stephan said his voice was shot, I thought everything sounded great. I really liked how hard they rocked their cover of Joy Division's "Disorder". Top notch show. Interesting visually in that there were no spotlights directly on anyone in the band. All lighting was from behind the stage. It worked, it kept the audience focused on the music and the performance rather than individuals. I had seen 3EB once before on a festival package, this was a better show because they got to do their full set the way they wanted. Highly recommend them as a headliner.
This was my first concert and it was so much better than I ever could have dreamed of! Getting to see my favorite band live was just amazing. And Corey is such an awesome and funny guy on stage. I loved hearing the crowd get hype and sing along with every song!
Phenomenal show and showmen as always. I upgraded to have the RIP (VIP) experience and it was well worth it, my family and I had so much fun with the band from that and from the show in general. The crowd really killed it this time too! <3
I loved the venue, all seating had a great view of the stage. There was no shortage of great food and drink vendors behind the seating areas. The concert was Alice In Chains & Breaking Benjamin+ Bush.
When I arrived, Bush was mid way through Machine Head. Gavin Rosedale did not disappoint, he still looks and sounds great. The band sounded great, like a well tuned and oiled machine. He mentioned the Queen's passing that day as well.
Breaking Benjamin was outstanding, Ben has a great team with him on stage that can supplement his vocal style, and even take lead in songs so he can do backing and guitar. I really enjoyed them. Ben emphasized his love of the crowd and thanked them for 20 years of BB success.
Last and certainly not least was Alice In Chains.
I did not get to see Layne in AIC before his passing, but have studied his voice via recordings of live performances, as well as vocal isolation on studio tracks. I have always wanted to see AIC in concert, especially after the new albums came out. This is my personal opinion as a singer, but something was off with William Duvall that night, his tone wasn't right...it just felt off. I understand that he has the pressure of putting his own touch on Layne Staley's classics, but it didn't work for me. Being a frontman is not an easy task, so take my criticism with a grain of salt.
Now, as far as the crowd goes, it seemed that everyone else loved AIC and were having a great time. I love AIC's new albums for the most part, I am not anti-Duvall. Overall, it was a fantastic lineup and experience. I will definitely return for another concert.
It was cool. Brandon was injured but handled the singing like the pro he is.
Always enjoy listening to their music and this was the second time I've seen Incubus in concert.
(Both times in Irvine.)😉
Sublime with Rome was better than I expected so that was a bonus. Rome shreds on guitar and that I never knew.
They have plenty of great jams and played only few hits. They decided to play a Warren G song. I think they were trying to connect with California but, well I came to an Iration concert. You can tell even they weren’t into it, off tuned. Embarrassingly, many fans were walking out before it ended. Great band, just not great live. Sorry Iration.
Been following Ronnie since escape the fate time back in high school. I have been waiting to see him live. Of course I started following falling in reverse. I had to get my 9 year old daughter into his music to. To see him first time live and work my daughter who is her actually favorite artist. I was livid! The entire venue, show, was all a great experience. Couldn't ask for a better show to take my daughter to her first concert.
This concert was literally the greatest thing I have ever witnessed, and I have been to a fair share of concerts. After having the tickets for over a year, it was completely worth the wait. I loved every minute of it and I would love to see them again someday!!
IT WAS SO AMAZING!! HE IS BEYOND INCREDIBLE PLAYING LIVE!! he doesn’t really move around the stage much but still puts on a show!! 10/10 recommend seeing him!! if you aren’t a die hard 1D fan and your just a fan of him, the fans will annoy you so much lol!! but otherwise its very fun. Maren Morris was also amazing and put on a great show as well!!
MOTHER OF GOD. Whitesnake was great. For a band that's *ahem* a bit on the older side, they really can put on a killer show. AND THE DRUMMER? GUY THROWS HIS STICKS AND STARTS PLAYING WITH HIS BARE HANDS? Hands down (pun intended) one of the most metal moments I've seen at a rock concert, and I go to some pretty heavy shows (Sabaton, Ozzfest, 5FDP to name a few). I came for Whitesnake, and I was DEFINITELY impressed. Thank you for putting on a great show!!
