had such a good time that i didn't notice until halfway through a song i wanted to record that i had taken a picture instead of starting a video

It’s been 14 years since I last saw Green Day at Manchester Cricket ground and they were just as fantastic this time around. Both support acts Maid of Ace and Nothing but Thieves warmed the crowd up with their distinctly different sets and the atmosphere was already building. Green Day were as ever fun, energetic and masters of the crowd. We were treated to some next level support for an unlucky attendee who had fallen and the songs were stopped to ensure that they were taken care of before things got going again. The weather was mixed however we also got a double rainbow thrown in for free during the aptly timed ‘welcome to paradise’ . Overall, the experience was fantastic. Green Day never cease to be value for money entertainment, long may they continue!

The performance is more of a 5 star. The venue and organisation was fucking terrible!! Absolute joke.

Not sure there’s actually a better live band to go and see. Dave is the ultimate rock god. A humble legend. No better front man. The band were tight, Josh Freese had massive shoes to fill but he definitely fits the bill. Amazing trip down memory lane with at least one song from each of their albums. Simply incredible, can’t wait to see them again!

This was a much anticipated gig since the passing of Taylor Hawkins & the Tribute concert and it did not disappoint! Foo Fighters came back with a truly emotional set list including a debut song along with all the old favorites and a couple of unexpected oldies. I absolutely loved it. I just wanted to do it all over again and have definitely got the post gig blues!

Dave Grohl and the band did not dissapoint absolutley awesome gig .Its the first time i have seen them live. Am hooked. Plenty of merch stalls and bars all decently priced . Getting out of the ground at the end was a bit cahotic, the tram station was rammed. Cant wait till they come back 🤟

Fantastic gig tho a right faff to get in the ground, staff denying access to toilet before the last song..

5 stars for the Foo’s who we’re goddamn ace! Such a showman and awe inspiring enthusiasm after all these years gigging. Got a free upgrade to the front pit too which was a propper brucie. My 15yo daughters first gig and now she’s hooked!

It was an amazing night. Great show from the band. Good atmosphere at the venue as well. The fans were great and ang their hearts out from start to finish

Awesome as always although it did feel very solemn at some points of the show, with Dave talking about Taylor. Also I don’t know if it was the cold air (boy it was a bit cold) but Dave’s voice seemed to struggle especially at the beginning. Classic Foo Fighters songs with some new material thrown in they do put on a fantastic gig!

Foo Fighters never disappoint! Amazing show, a varied set list and full of emotion. I already have post gig blues and already looking forward to their next Uk tour. Nice to welcome Josh behind the kit however the tribute to Taylor was respectful and touching. Well done Foos. You are loved.

Loved it - even though I am too small to see anything!!

Totally spectacular same as previous times I've seen them live but this time I feel they didn't stay on stage long enough I mean it was 954pm wen they finished their last song and left the stage but I guess every one including band members need their beauty sleep

Absolutely fantastic had the best time me and my fiance had a great day and evening they were phenomenal I loved the atmosphere this was my fist outdoor concert definitely do it again

The chilis were on top form. The set was great if a little short, but 2 support acts. Sold out so very busy, lots of queuing!

Chilli’s were awesome but the night was ruined by A$AP Rocky, changing the schedule and putting him on last ruined the atmosphere of the night.
