The band totally kicked b**t. They were entertaining, engaging, fun and they just crushed it. The music was awesome and the singing was as well. The audience was totally hooked and everyone was singing, dancing, thrashing, surfing, waving. I've been to over 100 shows in my lifetime and seen some pretty important bands but this was probably the best audience at any show I've ever been a part of. Good on ya Amyl and The Sniffers. Party Dozen opened up and they were a ton of fun. I've never seen anyone use their saxophone as a microphone but it totally makes sense. Love Live.... Party Dozen!

Ash was absolutely amazing I was like 3 people from the gate and still had some viewing issues. If the stage was elevated somehow or had a slope the way old theaters do it would have been more visible. Luckily I was able to catch stuff on my phone or through other people's phones but the floor is def not ideal unless ur literally right at the gate. Plus being in the balconies is also kind of a toss up since they don't have a projector. But Ash was very entertaining even during an unexpected pause. This was my first concert and I can say for sure that even despite being a long time fan of hers that I will be going to more of her concerts.

Decentb show. Very talented artists. I wasnt crazy about the sound in The Anthem. Allen Stone did his thing for sure. Local DC artists, Oh He Dead opened the show with an admirable 30 minute set. They are great musicians and the lead and backing vocals were superb. Ripe also has great musicians and nice two piece horn section. Think they might have to grow on me though. All three acts threw in at least one cover. Oh He Dead did cover of Michael McDonald's "Keep Forgettin'". The bass player of the band singing the lead and his voice is like that! Very nice cover but their originals are great and the lead vocalist has a unique and awesome voice.

My first concert at the Anthem. It's in a great location, and the space accommodates many (6000?) but gives all floor standers the feeling of being close to the performer. Iggy Pop is one of a kind; he is unashamed of his late-70's physique and he bares it bravely while he performs with gusto and wild abandonment. The crowd responded with enthusiasm to match Iggy's vigor and his unmistakable baritone delivery. His physique shows age, but his voice has not declined. At one point, the Godfather of Punk moved to the floor and moved the length of the stage from behind a low barricade. To the delight of his fans, he touched their outstretched hands and allowed some to sing into his microphone. Iggy understands what his fans want, and he lives to deliver the vicarious thrill of being Iggy Pop. If you have the opportunity to see this guy, go! No one can stop the march of time, but Iggy is not conceding: he won't go down without a fight. He entertains and, more importantly, he inspires!

It was such a lovely and beautiful show. It was a night to remember, for all the lover boys and girls. The venue was such a spectacular setting. The lighting, to the stage coach and camera men, band members, all made the show go without a hitch. And of course, the main draw, Teddy Swims himself!! The performance he put on, the range in his vocals and soul, all was poured out from his heart, and on his sleeve. The raw emotions and lyrics in each and every song just hit you. Teddy, you’re such an amazing human being, soul, and spirit. I’m so glad God created and made you, and birthed you into this world, and grateful enough, to witness such a wonderful, beautiful, deep, and down to earth person to exist, that we got to witness. ❤️ We love you Teddy. 🧸

First and foremost, the entire experience was 20/10! The venue (The Anthem D.C.) was absolutely gorgeous! The staff were extremely helpful and added to the experience! There was a gentleman bartender with long, reddish hair and glasses that was so kind at the bar downstairs, and Sazon (probably spelled that wrong, but sound it out say-zawn) and Splash upstairs deserve a raise! They were so cool, but also kept things in order with kindness. 10/10 Anthem team! On to Zayn- Wow. And again, I say WOW. There’s one undeniable fact and it’s that Zayn has TALENT. His vocals are so pure and pitch-perfect, you could easily close your eyes and think his album was playing in the background. To see him come so far out of his shell from the 1D days made my Directioner heart burst with pride. He has embraced being a frontman and the crowd has embraced him in return. The entire vibe of the performance just felt like a massive group therapy session that you didn’t want to leave! Missing this show would be one of those moments where you look back 10 years from now and say “I’m so p*ssed I didn’t go!” Buy the ticket, get on the plane, book the hotel. The Stairway to the Sky Tour is one you won’t want to miss. I PROMISE. P.S…buy the Zayn merch hoodie too. It’s one you’ll want to rot in!

first of all, let me just say how proud I am of this man how far he’s coming with his anxiety. He is definitely more of a low-key performer, but that’s not a bad thing. He clearly loves his crowd, loves his fans, and interacts with them quite often on stage. My daughter and I had the best time last night at the anthem. His vocals were amazing. He was hilarious in between songs and we had the time of our life. It was definitely worth all the hassle of getting there to DC and it was worth standing in the cold, and I would gladly do it all over again.

It was such an amazing and beautiful night with the props on stage to match the album, the lights, and just his voice really just mixes well together. Although it was really cold waiting outside and a bit hot in the building, all that experience was definitely worth it and would love to see him again. I’m an absolute big fan of Zayn ever since One Direction and I’ve just been following him through his journey as a artist and even if I didn’t know him personally, I’m just so proud to who he has become and I’m always there with him to the end.

I have been to over a hundred live music shows, this year alone. I saw this particular Sturgill tour four times since my first Sturgill/JBS show in Nashville in October (again at the Met in Philly, Mothership in Hampton and at the Anthem in Washington DC). They are without a doubt the most professional, kick a*s band I’ve ever seen live, playing a three and a half hour show of mind blowing, face melting music, uninterrupted without an intermission each night. They are absolutely amazing and I for one am grateful I got to see them. We will never see anything like them again for a long time!!! 🖤

The CA concert was amazing!! 🩷 This was my first ever concert, and thankfully I managed to get a spot right by the barracks in the pit to see all the boys up close and get a perfect view of the performance! The music was great as usual; I've never heard a bad CA song in my life, so I wouldn't expect anything less. The visuals for the show were breathtakingly beautiful; I loved all the lights and videos that played on stage to match the songs themes. The VIP merch was good too; I loved the signed poster and holographic keychain! I just wish the holographic bag was a little bigger, but it's still really pretty :) Overall, I loved the whole thing! This was an experience I will never forget, and I will definitely try to catch more CA concerts in the future if they ever come to the US again! 🩷

I’m never,ever disappointed with The the show. Matt was great to see ( it’s been 6 years since comeback tour and 16 years before that) so wonderful to see that Matt and band has not lost a step. A must see show, even if new to the the. Great new album and the retrospective of songs on second part of show are spectacular. Songs that I haven’t heard in years ( giant and August and September ) saw them in DC, Philly and on Thursday in NYC. I hope not that last time I see them, but if so what a great way to finish my concert life with them.

I love Sabrina, but this concert was a bit of a let down. Waited in line for 4 hours till doors opener then an additional 90 mins for the show to start. The opening act was decent, I had never listened to their music before. Sabrina’s set list was short. The show got stopped 3 separate times for 5-10 mins due to congestion in the crowd. To say we were packed like sardines was an understatement, almost every single person had their hands to their chest and couldn’t move. We lost 3 songs due to constant stopping of the show. Waters were handed out but not nearly enough of them. Overall the concert was good the venue needs readjusting and security needs to be stricter

He was fantastic! So much energy. So geniune. So generous. When other musicians were taking the lead during the instrumental parts of songs, he was there on stage moving out of the way but watching them, clapping and cheering them on. We were up front in the first row, and, at the end of the show after what (based on set lists we'd seen on-line from earlier recent concerts) we thought was the last encore, he stood up from the piano and faced the crowd. We could see him well up a bit at the adoration from the crowd, put his hand on his chest, took a deep breath in and out --- and he turned and sat back at the piano for what seemed to be an impromtu addition of "Gran Torino." A great concert!

What can you say about these guys? Solid each and every time I have seen them live (6) they are the world's state of the art speedgrass/bluemetal band and there's no comparison..they need to do a collaborative effort with D. Mustaine..seriously.. My first of many shows seeing Amigo the devil and he was a absolute joy to see in person..seems as real and a genuine entertainer..I have been sufficiently trampled by amigo.. Now.. The venue .. Man what a great place ..everyone was super nice and asthetically the nicest club ive ever been in..they do however need a little ambient sound conditioning because of the ceiling height and the fact that it's all metal .. Kick a*s show..kick a*s club..hell of a way to spend my 10th anniversary.

It was amazing. Been a fan since 2020 and this was a dream come true. Went with my mom and she’s not really a fan of Louis but she still was entertained because the venue gave drinks (alcoholic) to people 21 and older (which I noted that people 20 and younger got stamps on each of out hands to make sure nobody had drinks underage). They also had food. I was in the pit and even though I was late (because we parked far away) I still got to be kind of close to the stage. The venue was great. A lot of people were fainting because they were dehydrated and it was hot (the show had to be stopped about 4 times), but the people working there were so awesome. They were passing out water and made sure everyone was safe, they were telling everyone that if anyone felt like they were going to faint to get to the outside of the pit (it was all happening in the pit, of course). Louis was incredible. He always is lol. He stopped the show for the people that were fainting. Asked if everyone was alright and made sure everyone that needed water got some. This was my first concert and it was beyond my expectations.

I missed KC and the Sunshine Band due to lateness on my part. They are my favorite disco band ever. The adventure of finding this place was a job and the rain didn't help either. The B52's were excellent. I met them from the Mesopotamia tour and they signed my albums. Great people to party with. They gave me backstage after party tickets back then. They take care of their fans and it showed in this show too. The sound was good enough to make this tour a live album and they should. It was an older and well behaved crowd. The B52's sounded better than the albums because they added new blended lead intros to most of their songs. The B52's were light years ahead of their time. R.E.M. is the only band that could touch their sound. Regardless of the culture, I will never deny being a die hard B52's fan from their start to finish and beyond the universe. They dared to be different and put it on vinyl. The B52's was a band I called my own. After a 30 year lay off, I picked this one to end my concert going career with a bang. The B52's/K.C. and the Sunshine Band was a gig worth the wait. My Favorite B52's Song "Party Gone Out of Bounds (the Remix)".

I’ve seen The Revivalists 15-20 times over the years. This concert was a disappointment mainly because the energy wasn’t there (relative to the other concerts I’ve attended - which is a high bar). Maybe because they just came from Mardi Gras or because of the crowd? The people around us seemed not to know their music and were generally unappreciative. The best venue to see The Revivalists is a festival setting. They feed off the audience and they didn’t get a great audience at The Anthem. Btw, I love The Anthem. I just don’t think that it brings out David and Zach’s best.

The Ben Howard concert should have been billed as the "whatever his new album name is" Experience. At least that way people would be known what they were in for, which was an entire concert focused on his new album. But not just focused on it, it was very conceptual as well, not a party atmosphere. Maybe if the concert had been seated and not standing, general admission, one might enjoy it more. I saw him do this at a festival in Belgium over the summer. And while this may have gone over with European fans, American fans only heard of him after he toured his first album, Every Kingdom, and made the documentary, From Austin to Boston, and this was the first chance to see him ever. However, even if you want to focus on the new music, the least he could have done was Every Kingdom songs for the encore. That's what I was hoping would be different from the festival. But somehow he managed to find 15 more minutes from the new album. How long is this album anyway??? Big turnoff to American fans as you can see from reviews from all the US shows.

I just saw Florence + the Machine at Anthem in D.C.! If you’ve ever seen her live, enough said. If you haven’t, it’s a real treat! This beautifully red-haired sprite (I looked it up) really loves her fans and it shows. As well as running, dancing, twirling and jumping almost the whole time(watch the videos) she just exudes love and peace the whole show. I feel she must be physically and emotionally exhausted after the show with what she’s putting out. Smiling and talking between songs she invites the crowd to 1)hold hands with the person next to you, 2)tell a stranger you love them and 3)before the song “Patricia”, “if you’re feeling low, hang on;if you’re feeling below ground it’s because you’re getting ready to bloom!” You leave the show feeling uplifted. If I were rich, I’d come back and see the same show tonight. Beth Ditto opened with a LOT of soul.
