Absolutely amazing. Loved how the band interacted with the crowd. Especially with the little ones! 🖤 just wish they gave equal love and appreciation to everyone. It was only one sided. Just had to be on the opposite side so I was ignored even though I was at the bar at the front of the stage. Just jealous is all lol. Also if bands didn’t come during the week they would have a lot more people in the crowd. But more for us! 🖤 the ones that came.

The Bridge City Sinners band has captivated my interest ever since I stumbled upon them on YouTube years ago. I love their sound and their energy. Their music is fun and sometimes heartfelt. Seeing them live is an experience that should be had be anyone that likes their music. The Bridge City Sinners is an all time favorite band of mine. Seeing them live is a memorable experience.

Yngwie was awesome he hasn't lost a lick yet. He played for about 2 hrs and we love every minute. He played a new song that blew us away with his rapid fire picking and I thought I died and went to heaven. Pls keep it up Yngwie we would love to see you again. BTW the vibes event center was awesome nice and cool just wish there was somewhere to sit in between act thxs

So good! This is the second time we’ve seen Tge Grux in Austin. In the times I’ve seen DMB, I’ve never gotten to hear the song “Idea of You”. They played it last night! I absolutely LOVE the horns, especially the saxophonist. And, AJ, the drummer is absolutely awesome! But I just love ALL these guys and their band, in general! Such great performers! If you LOVE DMB, you will absolutely LOVE The Grux!

Was such an awesome show! Cloud anchor and Chancla Fight Club were great choices as the opening acts. Kurt Travis gave a phenomal set, really can’t say enough about him as an artist and his live performances. He played for over an hour, from some of his older and more obscure songs to a few DGD songs he worked on. Truly an amazing experience, he even stayed after to meet and talk to those who stuck around. As for the venue, I always love going to Come and Take It. Bar staff is friendly and the vibe is layed back and cozy. Will be there every time someone I like comes to play a set.

I was fortunate enough to catch all 3 Texas shows of Wednesday 13 performing Murderdolls. The Dallas show was upgraded to The Granada Theater. In Houston it was held in the small room of Warehouse Live, with a weird table set up, barricaded from the stage, so the audience was kept far away from the stage, to the side. The final night, in Austin was at my favorite venue, Come and Take it Live! It was absolutely the best of the Texas shows! The crowd was amazing and everyone was in a joyous frenzy! The sound was definitely the best at Come and Take It! They have always done a great job with stage sound and lighting every time I've gone to or played a show at their venue! All of the bands (Black Satellite, Infected Rain, Gemini Syndrome and Wednesday 13) had great energy and audience interactions at every show I saw. If you get the chance, you should absolutely catch these bands, especially if they come through Come and Take It Live again!

The last two bands before RF were really good. Rhapsody of Fire were GREAT!! I’m so glad I went. They are my favorite band from Europe. They were ALL so nice, stayed late to talk and take pictures with fans. Got to talk to the Lead singer Giacomo Voli. He was so gracious. I’ve been following him a while, and I was so glad to get to meet him. I will definitely go see them when they ever come back. Hope they have a safe and wonderful vacation, after this tour.

Phenomenal show; truly amazing band. The world-class rhythm section is otherworldly. Clay Aeschliman plays with the precision of a drum machine and the soul of a human. You just keep asking yourself, “How does he do it?” Clay Gober blends metal, hip hop, and R&B sensibilities into a fully modern, fully unique, beautifully toned, and loud AF bottom end. Enough has been written about the impossibly melodic and technically dazzling guitar duo of Scottie and Tim. Now you must simply hear it for yourself. I have no words. You have the enigmatic artist, Tim Henson whose minimalistic stage presence is magnetic, powerful, and dripping with joy. And then there is the explosive Scottie LePage. A force on stage, Scottie is approachable, engaging, and hilarious. Under his spell, you, too, might find yourself crowd-surfing or ricocheting the gauntlet of the wall of death. Don’t miss a chance to see this one-of-a-kind show.

So amazing, first time in the pit and crowd surfing, I will be taking this experience to the grave, the crowd was amazing and the energy was fantastic, being able to squeeze my way to the front during the end (I'm the one with the hand up having a religious experience lmao) just made the entire night, I'm so grateful to have seen y'all 😭😭 will definitely be seeing them again 🙏

This is a great venue to see a band. Two levels. Plus a bar area. With some seating.but primarily standing room only. We got there early to see the opening bands. Not sure about how this show was promoted, if at all. The first two bands were indie rock bands. A very young crowd that ended up leaving before the headliner. Which is a shame. The Cold Stares are a band that could easily sell out thousands seat venues. Impeccable vocals, A show that keeps you engaged the entire time, and generally nice people who took time after the show to say hi to their fans and took pictures. I will see these guys anywhere I can and will be buying their new album when it drops in August. I don’t know what’s happened to the Austin music scene but I’m concerned that people didn’t show up to see this band. We need to be promoting stellar acts like this one when they come to town! If you haven’t seen The Cold Stares live, make sure you do. An amazing band that everybody should check out!

Damn the weather that night! These guys were superb even though a storm blew out one of the amps ( I think ) and caused them to have to cut their set short by a couple of songs. Not their fault, I'd defiantly see them again. A highly energetic show. I'd like to think it was the performance itself that blew their amp out and not a stupid storm, it's more metal that way. Cheers!

One of the best, most energetic performances ever. Prika found a hell of a crew. I would see them once a month if I could. I acutally ran into Mia Wallace the bass player after the show and thanked her for coming to the states (specifically Austin) she was very nice and thanked me for coming to the show. I wish I could have met the rest of the band and the guys in Destruction but it was storming like a motherfucker outside and they were closing the venue. Please come back. I got a shirt for them and Destruction too.

The band was amazing in every sense. High energy, great selection of songs, crazy long set list without an intermission, nice light show and excellent sound quality in an intimate venue. And of course, there was Gavin Harrison…the main reason that many people came out to see this show, myself included. Gavin is a legend and he did not disappoint, filling out what are already very good songs with a layer of sophistication and technical prowess that is unmatched by others in his profession. He is quite simply the best drummer working today IMO. Go see them if you get the chance and you can decide for yourself.

BlackStone Cherry with what I call their “Redneck Rock” is absolutely one of the best live, no gimmicks straight up rock & roll bands you could ask for. This was my 4th time seeing them (my first time was Rock on the River in 2014), and while I had never heard of them before seeing them there, they blew the headline bands out of the water at that show - and I have never passed up any opportunity to see them since. This was the first time I have seen them in a small intimate venue like Come & Take It, and as usual they did not disappoint. They knew how to interact with and work the audience who were only inches away, they played many of their best hits, covered a few great rock & roll classics, and provided some awesome solos. Black Stone Cherry earned its spot as one of my favorite bands, and in this show they again demonstrated why they continue to be. I was also pleased with the opening acts, a couple of local Austin Bands punching above their weight - they had great sets and set the tone for what was absolutely a great evening of Rock & Roll. This was my first time in the venue, Come & Take It, and I was impressed with its intimate multi layer layout, it’s accommodations and it’s friendly & efficient staff.

So glad that I got the chance to see these guys again after Independence Fest, they were even better than I remembered. Rob was a peach and held the shirt I bought at their merch table until the end of the show. Dan, bless him, let me talk for Way Too Long about parasocial relationships even though he clearly had no idea what I was talking about. Seriously, an amazing set and stage presence from these guys - wish I could've gotten a group shot with the rest of the guys but my camera was out of film. k i'm sleepy bye.

Deicide fucking brought it. Origin were mind blowing and Jungle Rot were badass. Would definitely see all of them again. I actually saw Glen in the parking lot before the gig but the crowd around him was pretty large so I didn't get a chance to meet him before the show. Maybe next time. The shirts were cheap too. I got shirts for all three bands with money left over. It was my first time seeing these bands.

Despite the insufferable twats that pushed us around to get a better view, the show was good. I left early because there were some really rude guys that were pushing people around, grinding on my gf after she asked him to stop, acting like a dick bag. Venue was ok, but the way they have it setup, there are going to be angry people that think they should have the right to push others around so that they can enjoy the show more. Stop being cunts at shows. You don't know who you're going to piss off one day. Everyone is there to enjoy the show.

This was such a great experience! Jay Rock, Reason and Southside Hippy put on great performances. The venue was small, allowing a very up close perspective. That’s such an added bonus for me. The crew put together a really efficient meet & greet before the show. Jay Rock and Reason were kind enough to join me in a video recording to say hi to my young son who also loves them. I thoroughly enjoyed every moment! 💜🙏🏼💜
