My first time in the Phoenix. It's how a gig should be, up close and personal. Sound was decent. The British lion boys were on form! Great night.

Fabulous solo show. Joan builds an atmosphere of calm, passion, and romantic melancholy with her wit and musicianship - delicate vocals and intricate melodies. The gig at Exeter Phoenix was all standing and the 1 hour 40 minutes set help the audience enraptured. I've been a fan for nearly 15 years - first time seeing her live. Well worth the visit!

Such a joyous gig! However the sound was awful! We couldn’t hear the singers or the bagpipes and violin despite calls for turning them up. It didn’t detract from the immense feelings of joy and love emanating from the stage, but the sound desk guy should have been on it more!

pretty damn good. i preferred Derek rhe draw RIP with a couple of guest vocalists like Phill Jupitus or Martin Freeman but it was still an excellent gig and you just can’t stop dancing once they get going.

Good show and a powerful rendition of Golden Hair to finish the main set on, but they didn't play Blue Skied An Clear, Slomo, Machine G*n, Rutti or Don't Know Why, which is like 50% of their top 10 songs. Too much of the really early stuff, which sounds quite dated at this point in my opinion.

First time I’d seen them, highly rated by a friends who came with me. Absolutely b****y amazing, fantastic, bought the album which I’m now playing in the car. My son is going to see them tonight in Bournemouth. I saw them in Exeter, home town . Will look out for next years visit.

Wonderful musicians Tobias and Lukas with beautiful songs. It's amazing the sound 2 very talented musicians can make, and their humour and friendship are uplifting too. Do go and listen if you can.

Been waiting years to see Beardyman. Absolutely brilliant performance and the crowd couldn't get enough. Funny, brilliantly creative, and decades ahead of his time. Not to be missed by live music fan of any genre.

Really enjoyed seeing Jimmy and the boys. Set seemed cut short, as they only played for an hour, but the sound was great, and they played all the favourites. A lot of fun!

Wonderful! Benjamin is a very talented performer - amazing music and I found his chats in between songs very endearing too. His completely unplugged performances of Pictures and Atlas Hands were very special. Overall a relaxed, intimate and thoroughly enjoyable show. If he comes back to Exeter in future, I'll be there!

The radest gig you will ever go too! If he’s playing near you you need to go and be near him and dance your face off.

Concert was brilliant. Finished an hour and a half ago, can't believe time went so quick, still buzzing!! Havn't seen Bruce since he was on the original AMC tour in '79 with The Jam, and he certainly still has got 'IT'!!.

King Creature were an absolutely great support act who absolutely tore the place up and Therapy? played great song after great song to a crowd that sang every word and loved every song
