Fantastic show, didn’t know what to expect but I really did enjoy it. They had tones of energy and instrumentation was tight which is my ideal formula for a great time.

They played all of their best songs and sounded amazing. but the tickets stated they started at 9pm. They did not show on stage until just after 10.

A Taste of Herb were really on their game Saturday at Dan's. You'd never have guessed listening that so many months had passed since they last played together. A big crowd showed up to fill every table in the room, and you could tell that everybody had been missing them. Terrific act, terrific set. Hurry back to Denton, John Wier!

What a fabulous group! If you love folksy, country, bluegrass and rockabilly music, this band has it all. Such talented musicians, every one of them. And the musical harmonies - wow! Love Dan's Silverleaf - so intimate.

This was a solo show by American Aquarium frontman BJ Barham, from Durham, NC. No opener. Just BJ and his acoustic guitar. He is a wonderful storyteller - funny and poignant - telling lengthy stories related to each of his song selections. He is a poet who tells real stories about his life and the people in it. Very intense performer. Don't go to one of his shows looking for a feel-good joyride, but if you want to hear real stories, poetry in song, and real emotion, then he is your guy. It might change your life. Dan's was a great venue for this show -- intimate with great sound and a generally very attentive and appreciative audience. The show was sold out, and the standing-room sightlines can be problematic. The tables at the front of the stage offer much more comfort and great sightlines -- if you can afford the higher ticket prices and they aren't sold out by the time you try and purchase them. Denton is a great town for live music.

Just an amazing show! We (and the crowd) hung on every word he said. We laughed, we - well, we were embarrassed at times, but in a good way. Led to great introspection and best of all, my 16yr old son loved it! Thank you BJ for being so relatable, such wonderful and loving stories and showing your strength and vulnerability at the same time. Waited four years to see y'all, and just blew me away! See you in Waco!

Seen them play many times and they never disappoint! It was nice seeing them up close in a smaller venue. We got the chance to chat a bit with all 3 guys after the show. Definitely will go again!

Zane and the boys put on another killer show! They always bring it. Their harmonies are amazing and the music is down right badass.

John Baumann is a special entertainer. He is a mixture of great lyrics, unique (really cool) voice, catching tunes and very funny humor. He is very personable and loves to talk to his fans after the show. Keep the faith John, you are building a loyal following. And don't forget to remember who that blue healer's healing today. Dan’s is always a great venue and this 4:30 6/9/18 showing wasn’t any different. Powerful sounds out of this three piece band. Glad we stumbled upon this gig. Goes great with Michael McDonald and Elvis Costello.
