Risky Endeavor

Risky Endeavor started as a spark in October 2011 when Cale Zebedee started writing music for a new project. The months that followed would be critical for the formation of the band. Zebedee quickly found Gavin Boyd and Paul Gervais to round out the rest of his group. In September of 2012 Boyd left the band after many months of writing. Zebedee, with the help of friends tracked Risky Endeavor's first EP 'Risky Business' ,it was in this time that he met Ryan Landon through a mutual friend. Landon joined the group and a snowball effect started. Zebedee and Landon recorded an acoustic EP released on April 20th, 2013 to show their songwriting. The three spent 2013 playing as many shows as they could and making friends. In the fall the group started tracking their first EP as a collective. It was during this session where the group decided to enlist in the help of Tristan Vigar as a second guitarist. The band continued to grow through 2014 and adapting to their new found sound. On September 26th,2014 the group released their Self-Produced/Self Titled EP ,mixed and mastered by Brad Taylor at Taylor Sound, at Dicken's Pub, with friends Deluge!, Dead Pretty and Girls Girls Girls (UK).The band received radio play on X92.9 Calgary's New Rock Alternative for the single 'Memories'. In February 2015 the group spent 3 days recording what would be their final track 'Paint', which also received radio play on X92.9 Calgary’s New Rock Alternative.
