Wall-Eyed

Wall-Eyed is an indie/country-punk band based in the New England with a distinct sound, anchored in high-energy, lyrically-driven songwriting. The band is led by Wilson Getchell and features a rotating cast of musicians. Wall-Eyed's songs draw on themes surrounding the superfluous, directionless existence of the modern man and often humorously and sarcastically reflect upon a search for meaning in the sterile and ordered 21st century. Wall-Eyed interlays these themes with an array of musical genres, including folk, punk, grunge, reggae, country and progressive rock. The songs range from the melodic pseudo-ballads such as "Pint of Blood" and "Tattoo Graveyard" to songs with punk and grunge undertones such as "Saw You in Hell" and "Push Off."
