Waiting Til Three

Conceived in a small Rocky Mountains town, Waiting Til Three is composed of guitarist/ vocalist Jesse Hughes and drummer Grant Payton. Being a lifelong musician, Hughes had set up a home studio and rehearsal space in his Grand Lake cabin after relocating from Austin TX. After some time, Grant, a good friend, needed a place to crash and Hughes let him stay for a while. As their friendship took shape, Jesse asked Grant to hop on the drums to accompany him in writing some songs. Before long their sound also took shape and things quickly escalated. Soon after, the duo was playing local bars and venues. Eventually the two decided to relocate to Yuba City, CA to continue the bands progression. With a new found urge to write new material, the duo went to Chicago to record in a studio Grant’s uncle had put together. It was then that the Nowhere Bound album was finally born. A huge step forward for the band, the release is the epitome of where they are with their sound right now.
