Shadow of Demise

In 2004, vocalist Stephen Graves, and guitarist Dan Belmont joined forces and began writing music for what was to become their 8 track debut album, Premature Burial. Recruiting lead guitarist Ronnie Merrin, and bassist John Callous along the way. Over the course of the next 6 years they would play all over New York City and Long Island, supporting such mainstays in the metal scene as Obituary, Whiplash, Dehumanized, Incantation, and more. ​ In 2015 Shadow of Demise reunited after a 5 year hiatus. The addition of Cory Detritus on drums breathed new life into the band. In the summer of 2016 the band parted ways with vocalist and founding member Stephen Graves with bassist John Callous taking over vocal duties and adding Brian Crean on bass. They are currently in the studio working on material for a follow up to 2006's Premature Burial Thrash/Death Metal coming straight at you from Brooklyn NY
