From The Embrace

Wrought in 2007 from the Death Metal haven that is Tampa, Florida, From The Embrace is a 5-piece maelstrom of melody and brutality encapsulated in a glass case of technical ability. The band is the musical product of Nick Marrero (vocalist), Vinny Medina (guitarist), Antonio Glass (guitarist), Alex Flores (bassist), and Ghaith Khder (drummer). In 2009, FTE's original line-up (which included founding members Devin Garcia and J.T. Hosack) recorded their debut EP, titled "Heavens on Fire", produced by Brian Elliot and featuring a guest appearance by Patrick Pintavalle (The Absence) on the song "Disease of Ignorance". The record was supported through a self-managed headlining tour across the East Coast from June until August of 2010. The following year saw the release of their second EP "The Grind", for which they toured across the South and Midwest, with an additional summer run through the East Coast in the summer of July 2011. Once From The Embrace had settled into what would become their current roster, they set out to record their first full-length album "The Sun Betrays Us To The Night". It was released on February 25th, 2014 by way of Total Deathcore, at the threshold of a 5 week North American tour in support of fellow Tampa death-metallers The Absence, which included performances in Canada and Mexico. Through this tour, FTE had found new member, Alex Flores. FTE pressed on strong with another U.S. Tour in October of 2014. Headlining a 3 week stretch through the South/Midwest. Heading into 2015 FTE has begun to write and record a second Full Length Record.
