Artist bio
Flame Parade move across indie rock, dream pop, and folk-inspired atmospheres, shaping a constantly
evolving sonic identity and gradually defining an increasingly personal musical language. Since their
formation in 2012, each release has represented a different chapter in the band’s artistic journey.
Following their debut album “A New Home” (2016), the Tuscan quintet returned in 2020 with “Cosmic
Gathering”
, a record that blends the band’s new folk roots with internationally influenced pop sounds,
further expanding their sonic horizons.
The ethereal and dreamlike atmospheres that characterized the band’s early work evolved further with
“Cannibal Dreams” (Materiali Sonori, 2023), produced by Matilde Davoli. The album marked a significant
step forward in terms of artistic identity and expressive depth, receiving widespread acclaim from music
press.
Flame Parade are also known for the intensity and evocative power of their live performances. In 2025, the
band expanded their touring activity, performing over 40 shows across Europe and the United States,
including an appearance at New York’s New Colossus Festival.
In April 2026, with the release of the new track “Criminal Gospel”
, the band opened a new chapter in their
musical journey, followed in May by “White and Torn” and in June by the double single “Need a Car” /
“Television Home”
.
“Hollywood Stray”
, out on September 18, 2026, is the band’s fourth studio album, recorded in July 2025 at
Playpen Studio in Bristol with producer Ali Chant (Yard Act, Perfume Genius, Dry Cleaning, The Murder
Capital). This collaboration marks a significant evolution in Flame Parade’s artistic identity, combining sonic
depth and richly layered arrangements with a more direct and emotionally exposed songwriting approach.
“Hollywood Stray” is a cohesive work from both a musical and conceptual perspective, reflecting on the
tension between personal identity and a culture increasingly shaped by self-performance and the pursuit of
recognition.
