Candlebox

My favorite band since their very first album back in 1993. I saw them as a teenager when they performed in San Antonio. Now here I am more than 30 years later still watching my favorite band play in Texas every time they make it here. Took my daughter-in-law who is 23 years old to see them perform and she loved them. She is not a rocker at all. But she was loving their sound. After the concert, she asked me to play them on the way home. They made another fan. Candlebox was FIRE!!! Watching them all onstage was amazing. I still show up when it's acoustic but I'd rather see them all together. They had a lot of love coming from the crowd and Kevin sure knows how to keep the crowd engaged. Love him!! And the fact he didn't hold back in belting out those screams and lyrics made it even more awesome. The venue is outdoors with plenty of porter potties. You can also bring lawn chairs to sit on the lawn. However, it has to be behind the standing crowd. It's a decent spot. They also have a playground with slides for the kids under some mature trees. I REALLY ENJOYED THE SHOW! LOVE YOU ALWAYS CANDLEBOX!!! Lastly, check out the foundation Riptide Society that's a charity for at-risk juveniles that age out of foster homes. The foundation helps these kids have a chance in life and 100% of the donations go straight to the program. You can do a one-time donation or setup a monthly donation. Either way, give it a look. It costs you nothing but a couple of minutes to at least read about it.
