Franklin Jonas & The Byzantines

Franklin was an incredible performer, and his band delivered an amazing show. We waited outside for two hours before the show started, and about halfway through that time, he came out. He was going next door to get food and saw us there, which made him seem quite surprised. He’s one of the most genuine and grateful people I’ve ever met. Unlike most people who don’t give their all to everything they do, Franklin truly gives his all. He put on an incredible show. I highly recommend going to one of his shows. His music has helped me in so many ways, and he takes the time out of his shows to interact with the crowd. He comes out of the crowd to sing and dance, stands at the merch stand after the show to take pictures, sign things, and have conversations with people. Even after putting his all into the show, he still makes himself stand out and comes across as a more genuine and down-to-earth person. It’s all the things you could ever want. If you ever get the chance to see him, whether it’s him opening for a band you’ve never heard of, for his brothers, or at a pop-up show, go. It’ll be 100% worth your time, even if you don’t know the music. Thank you for making my night, and I’m sure everyone else who was there had a special night. You truly are a light in a world full of darkness, and your story of overcoming challenges and finding your sound is truly inspiring.
