About this concert
Artspire is an all-inclusive, free community art event that attracts, engages and connects our diverse community through meaningful arts experiences, including visual, interactive, performing, literary arts and dance. Produced and funded by the Pump House Regional Arts Center, sponsors and donors

The Braided Janes Biography
The Braided Janes is a bilingual post punk latin rock band from Chicago, Il USA. The trio consists of Juny Alvarez on electronic drums, Andrew Doyle on bass and Jessica Rodriguez on keyboard and vocals.
Each member of the band brings a unique flavor to their music. Andy's background in jazz bass paired with Juny's rhythmic latin percussion and Jessica's thought provoking lyrics braid together a sonic work of art in every song. The Braided Janes have successfully mastered the ability to transcend through genres and language barriers, creating a unique and refined style they can truly call their own.
Aside from their tremendous friendship and love of music, the Braided Janes share a vision for social change. Their mission is to create music that moves people on a deeper level - Inspired by their own desire to make a difference in an apathetic world, they hope to inspire listeners to listen to their inner voice and stand up for what is right.
