Nate Andersen Biography
Nathaniel (Nate) Andersen is a versatile pianist/singer/songwriter based in Brooklyn NY, gaining a growing reputation for his newly developed style and sound. Nate was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, and received his BA in jazz performance at Sonoma State University. After university, Nate relocated to New York where he began his own music institution and performance career. There he met and was mentored by Dizzy Gillespie’s legendary pianist Mike Longo, who assisted in developing Nate's own unique sound on both the piano and vocally. THE MONSTER SONG encapsulates the jazz, classical, rock and pop styles combined Currently Nate is scheduled to release his new collection of compositions debut album titled FOCUS July 25 2021. Nate has an active performing schedule in and around New York City as well as internationally, performing at venues, festivals and concert halls.
