Danno is one of the rawest and purest songwriters in todays scene. Everytime I’ve seen him he has progressed and continues to reach a new level of talent, which was high from the beginning. Danno Simpson is a Singer & Songwriter in the Country and American Folk Music vein. Born in Texas, raised in Georgia, and now living out in the Front Range of Colorado, Danno's music is a product of the music that he grew up around.
Inspired by the likes of Texas Songwriting legends such as Guy Clark, Townes Van Zandt, and Steve Earle and the Mountain Music of both the Rockies and Appalachia, Danno seamlessly blends old with new. His sound remains true to his inspirations of yesterday while at the same time connecting with audiences today.
