The North Ingalls Band

“I’m surrounded by love like no other in this world, what more can I ask for?”

The North Ingalls Band is a seven-piece indie folk-groove group hailing from Ann Arbor, Michigan formed in 2023.

The core group includes Corazon Szell – lead guitar/vocals, Liam Charron – piano, Andres Soto – bass, Jack Harris – drums, Eric Bressler – trumpet, Em Spencer – saxophone, and SC Klein – trombone. All members hail from the University of Michigan’s School of Music.

Each member of the band brings their unique sound, that has been shaped through diverse personal experiences, to the original music you hear from us today. As a group, we continue to explore and pull from each and every genre that catches our ears, lights a fire in our souls, and flows from our instruments.

The band name was inspired by the street Szell currently lives on while attending the University of Michigan. She attributes that house to many of her fondest memories with friends, family and good music (as she has written a majority of the band's original music in her upstairs bedroom).

Currently, our influences include artists such as The Lumineers, Noah Kahan, Caamp, Fleet Foxes, Hozier and Lord Huron.
