Anchorage Concert Association is proud to present the Solar Gain live at Elderberry Park for the Summer Concert Series 2024 - bringing live music right to your neighborhood. Come early for the ribbon cutting of the brand-new park and don't miss the drawing for a 3-show subscription to our 2024/2025 season at the end of the show!
Grab a free coffee from the Kaladi Brothers Coffee tent or ride your bike to the show and pick up a free drink card from the Anchorage Concert Association table! BruceSkis and Yeti Dogs will have food available for purchase.
ABOUT THE SUMMER CONCERT SERIES
The Summer Concert Series features local artists in neighborhoods across Anchorage. A partnership with Anchorage Concert Association and Anchorage Park Foundation, this free concert series brings people together in their own neighborhoods to enjoy live music and the beauty of our parks and trails. The Summer Concert Series is sponsored by Atwood Foundation and Brian and Joanne Bennett.
ABOUT SOLAR GAIN
Solar Gain is a soulful trio formed in Talkeetna Alaska, consisting of Larry Zarella, Kayti Heller, and Danielle Aslanian. All three singer songwriters share a passion for creating unique and engaging original music. Known for their buttery three part harmonies, Solar Gain delivers powerful vocals, and catchy melodies that delight a wide range of audiences. The chemistry between these three musicians is palpable and infectious, and their passion shines through in every performance.

Aspenyarrow Biography
Aspenyarrow is a Talkeetna-grown singer/songwriter, now living in Palmer. Her first love was music. She was raised in choir and river sand, seasoned in the Alaskan cover scene and dark winters, has studied and taught music and is now writing, recording, and releasing her own original music.
Honest, heartfelt, sweet as birch water, her jazz-influenced folk/pop and beautiful vocals will awaken your feels and tickle your ear snails.
Songwriting is a release for me - a way to turn my struggles and challenging emotions into something beautiful and helpful. Happy? Write a song. Sad? Write a song. Pained by the state of the world? Write a song." Her muses tend to include nature, love (and heartbreak), mental health, and self-acceptance.
She performs as a solo artist, as one-third of the harmony-heavy trio Solar Gain, and the long-time Alaskan music mainstay, the Denali Cooks. She lives w/ her kids and her dog, Mary Puppins.
