Born Healer is based in Kingston Upon Thames in South West London, where much of the original British blues boom and blues rock started! Helen Turner is a 2023 UK Blues Federation's best vocalist nominee. She and guitarist Iain Black are both past British Blues Award nominees. Marek Funkas is an in-demand London bassist, playing major venues with top international artists. Drummer Steve Weaver is similarly in-demand musician, touring in original, tribute and function bands, while still finding time for percussion and backing vocal duties in electric-acoustic duo Tote Perello, and lead vocals in AC/DC tribute band, Bad Boy Boogie!
