About this concert
The Jump is excited to announce "Family Night," an evening dedicated to bringing together families through music, crafts, and a delicious sit-down meal.
The evening's activities will be hosted by local musician Brian Kassay from KGLT Kids and Jeri from the Halcyon Collective. The night is aimed at providing an affordable community event where families can connect, learn, and grow together. The event will take place on June 2 from 4-6 There is a suggested donation of $10.
Local musician Brian Kassay will perform an interactive live looping set that provides kids with an opportunity to explore a multitude of instrumentation, write lyrics, and collaborate on a song. Using live looping techniques, the group will build a song together by layering each child's performance until an entire song is built. Parents and kids are welcome to bring instruments from home.

Brian Kassay Biography
Brian Kassay is a live-looping multi-instrumentalist who seamlessly blends guitar, drums, keys, harmonica, xylophone, and violin to create a full and dynamic sound. Brian experiments with live looping techniques, layering different textures and sounds to create an intricate and mesmerizing musical performance. Brian does not use any backing or sampled tracks. Instead, his high-energy songs captivate audiences by building the composition layer-by-layer in real time with both physical and digital instrumentation. His show includes a growing catalog of both covers and originals which blend elements of folk, rock, and electronic music. He strives to push the boundaries of music by creatively weaving together a multitude of synth sounds and instrumentation resulting in a one-of-a-kind performance that should not be missed.
