Edurne Biography
Edurne was born in 1985, in Madrid (Spain). She's a well known singer who formed/participated in the 4th edition of the famous music TV show "Operación Triunfo" (2005), where she ended on the 6th position. In 2006 she released her first solo album, called "Edurne", being "Despierta" ("Wake Up") her 1st single.
Her album sold 50.000 copies and directly entered to the third position of the most alnums sold in Spain
Now she's trying to get international success by singing a duet called "Don't tell me tonight" with the Swedish singer Cameron Cartio.
In summer 2006 she starred a Herbal Essences' TV commercial, and recorded one new song, "Te Falta Veneno" ("You Lack Venom") for the re-edition of her album.
Her first single was "Despierta" ("Wake Up"), and it had a great success. Her second single is "Amores Dormidos" ("Sleepy/Numb Loves"), composed by the Spanish band La Oreja de van Gogh ("van Gogh's Ear"), and now, she's promoting her third single, "Te Falta Veneno" ("You Lack Venom"), the main soundtrack of the spanish version of "Betty La Fea": "Yo Soy Bea" ("I'm Bea").
She's currently starting to prepare her second solo album, which will be released in April 2007.
